Lydia smiled at Argus, waving her hand lightheartedly to let him know it was alright. "Don't worry, I'm not offended. Your brother is quite alright, just a bit curious is all." She knew a member of the royal family should have punished him for such a curiosity, but she shrugged. This was not something she was too concerned with, living up to the standards placed upon the royalty. "I've always been proud of my heritage, it's important to me. And both my parents were angels at one point, so why change that?" She knew a lot of animosity was directed at her because of her heritage, but Astaroth hadn't offended her. In fact, he'd been more respectful than most. "I'm not sure angels would consider me an angel anyway, having been born and raised in hell, and being the daughter of Lucifer." She shrugged and looked at the two. "I probably should have seen a priest, so these two didn't have to put up with what I did when I was younger."

"I know that most would hurt him for that, but you won't have to worry about me when it comes to injuring your brother." She thought back to him, figuring he had mind reading if he was able to place thoughts in her head. She smiled at the two, not letting on that she and Argus just had an exchange. She hugged her two children and looked at the sky.

Lydia met Argus' eyes and handed to two kids to Astaroth, who giggled and poked him. "I'd recommend that you don't consider Xenos suspicious looking then. Because I know he wouldn't hurt me." She knew he was just doing his job, but didn't know what she would do if she had to watch one of her friend's death. She could see angelic wings coming over in her direction, landing about twenty feet away. "Mother." The beautiful woman looked over at the two demons. "Hello Lydia, it's pleasure to see you again." She narrowed her eyes at her mother. "If any angel is a suspicious one, it'd be her." She thought to Argus, her expression dark. "I heard what the council has ordered, I wanted to make sure you were okay." She reached out to brush Lydia's cheek with her fingertips, Lydia flinching.

Lydia looked up at her mother, who was still several inches taller than her. "You need to leave, Mother. I don't know what the council told you, but if you're hear to execute their plan I recommend you leave. I will have no problem killing you." That was a complete lie, since she had no faith in her ability to hurt her mother. "Aw, honey, can't you just remain civilized?" Lydia narrowed her eyes. She stepped away from her mother, the first display of fear she'd shown the whole day.

Ophelia sighed softly, rolling her eyes. "You're always so closed off, sweetie. I want you to trust me." Lydia glared at her mother. "Yes, of course you'd like me to trust you, so you can take advantage of that and injure me." Ophelia smirked and stooped down to whisper in her daughter's ear. "I can injure you whether or not you're on guard." Lydia should have ducked away or flinched. With a cry of pain she fell to her knees and covered the right side of her face, the side her mother had whispered into. Ophelia waved at Argus. "Send Rak my regards." And with a raise of her hand disappeared.

Lydia felt the blood gush through her fingers and drip onto the floor. She sighed and pulled her hand away, showing a deep gash across the side of her face. "DON'T touch my blood." The warning wasn't for her sake, it was for his. Her blood had a dangerous ability. Not only was it angel's blood, wich once spilled was poision to all living things, but her blood was an incredibly powerful aphrodesiac. "Don't go after her, I don't want you to die." She sighed, knowing her mother had used her own blood against her. The blood made the only type of poison that, once a blade touched, made it possible for her skin to be cut. "I'll be fine..." She watched as her blood sank deep into the earth, leaving a small, charred hole.
