*Rogue lifted an eyebrow then swung around the branch landing on one above where Lydia was and perched like a panther...perfect in grace and beauty.*
"You don't really want to know. And besides, it might do you some good for once...to listen to your elders."
*She smiled mischeviously then leaped backward in a flip, then landed again in a low stance on her feet, then disappeared in a blur..*
Get some rest, cheri. You'll need it.

What is a cheri anyway? Lydia thought to herself as she climbed down from the tree. Well, whatever it was, she was certainly not going to fall asleep with that vampire around. She sat on a nearby park bench, closing her eyes to think about what to do next. She should find Amber, but that vampire was becoming a problem. What to do...before Lydia knew it, she had fallen into a light sleep from the chill in the air.

*Rogue sat in a nearby tree...shielding her aura the best she could.....but then entered into Lydia's sleep. She took her time, as not to arounse the...strong psychic she was dealing with. Rogue pushed a figure of William in her mind.*

Her closed eye twitched at what Rogue did, but there was little she could do while she was asleep. After that one twitch, she went still again, though her sleep was still light.

*Rogue used the image to her advantage...
William did not speak, but simply led Lydia to a bed. He laid her down, and she did not fight him...
He moved her, deeply and strongly...but not forcefully, for if she had said the word, he would stop. but she wouldn't say anything at all....
Rogue push a whole set of feelings on Lydia that she had never felt before...twisted it so that she would long for it when she woke..
Then in a moment, Rogue removed herself from Lydia's mind after the seed had been sewn, and made herself unknown in the tree above, simply watching.*

The twitch came again, and instinctively her mind fought against Rogue, but not as forcefully as it usually did. There was a slight jolt as Rogue left her mind, and the jolt awoke her. At first, she blinked sleep from her eyes, forgetting for a moment what her mind had just seen.
Ignorant for that moment, she put a hand to her face, trying to wake herself up. But her cheek was warm, not cold from the air. Why was her cheek warm? Her whole face was. Both eyes went wide as she remembered again, and her face was red, but not from embarasment. The memory, the longing for it, took effect but she forced it down. She knew what this was now.
"Rogue, show yourself please."

*Rogue stayed where she was and did not move...but rather (theoretically) became a part of the tree she was in...high up enough that...it would be difficult to find with the eye...
Her mental shields were up as well, trying to keep Lydia unaware.*

She sighed, letting the air cool her heated face. "I know you are around. Why are you doing this? I told you, things should stay they way they are. This changes nothing."

*Rogue held out a gun filled with Silver Nitrate inside. Not that it mattered what was inside, it would still hurt like hell if it connected.
She shot, knowing that Lydia might not be able to react fast enough because her hearing wasn't as attentive as a vampires...*

She barely caught sight of the bullet screaming towards her, and now that she was healed it took no effort at all to instantly controct a telekenetic barrier between her and the bullet. And now she knew where Rogue was.
She ran towards the tree, her eyes white and the shield still up and in place to protect her from any more projectiles. She could set the tree on fire, but that would bring attention to this and the tree did not deserve to be killed. Instead, she climbed up the tree to where she approximated Rogue's location to be.

I do not deserve to live? Why? Because I do not accept your philosophy that sex is all there is to life? She asked as they fell. She landed on her back with a thud, even with using her shield to cushion the fall. She lay there for a moment, her eyes going wider as the other half of that sentence sunk in. Pity?
She did not want her pity!
Something snapped in her mind as she ripped of her necklace, barely remembering to put it in her pocket. She called fire to her hands, a larger one than before, and tried to put it over Rogue. She did not want her pity!

As they landed she felt something in Lydia's aura that she had felt before. It was that fire....oh how it had burned.
She pushed Lydia's hands back, pulled her shirt lifting her forward towards Rogue, then slammed a closed fist in her face, which would break most human's jaws..*

The shield came up, effectively blocking Rogue's punch. Without the necklace she was stronger...but was more reckless and less in control of her powers. She called more fire to her hands which she put to the hand that held her up.

*Rogue roared in some noise that sounded like a lion and human...with the little telekinetic powers she had she triggered the knife at her wrist, and sliced at Lydia's abdomen.*
