It's time we had a talk, Linda. You need an intervention. I know you think everything is fine and you can keep acting however you like, but you don't realize how you deeply hurt the feelings of those around you. Your callous words and possessive attitude
repeatedly damages the fragile psyches of the mice.
Every time you refer to them as "yours," "pets" and the incredibly offensive "squish," they die a little inside. It's demeaning. They are not your captive slaves. They are respectable Companion Animals, on par with the esteemed likes of friendly dogs, loyal hamsters and noble budgerigars. They deserve the respect of a multi-syllable title and should be adopted into your family as full members, as important as you or your siblings, not relegated to a cage near the kitchen, with you adding and removing their bedding at will.
Why, you put bows on their heads
when you know they hate it. How can you keep abusing them like this? The trauma they've suffered is undefinable. Tell me, would you put a bow on Vince's head? It's the same thing. Your reign of cruelty must end!
