He felt really uncomfortable watching her stand so hurt and and alone like that. He also felt like there was more he could do to be useful, so he walked up to her and began to put an arm around her. Cautiously, to see if she would be appreciative of the gesture.

Tac looked to Cora, hoping she could clear this up, he really didn't want to get his a** kicked by a law major. Again. God lawyers and law majors suck. He said nothing though

Two feet touched down, from what seemed out of nowhere, two wings folding behind him, one with red feathers, which seemed rather worn, and the other of shadow, which disappeared after it folded. He looked about with his eyes shaded by sunglasses, lifting a cigarette to his mouth quietly, lighting it with a lighter quietly. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Tacitus, but eh, he seemed busy, and they never really knew eachother too well, if at all. It had been about a thousand years since they had seen eachother, anyways. He looked around, sighing and muttering something to himself, before stepping past the chairs and such, sitting at the bar and looking around it. Hm.... odd place.

*appears in The Brink and looks around confused, not sure where she is* Uh... *realizes there's a confrontation going on and decides it best to hide, she finds the nearest corner and presses into it*.... *tries to figure out what's going on, how she got here, and what on earth happened to the other faeries she was with*

Tac shuddered at the words, and then spoke, "Stop. She doesn't want to say. Don't make her. Cora, if you don't want me to say it either, I won't, but you have to look at me and you have to stop lying to yourself." All the while he was ready to jump under a table, any table.

*That's good enough for Luke. He turns back to Tac. He says in a very simple, normal tone, as if he were discussing the best way to cook a steak....* I'm sorry, Tac. But no means no, pal. I gave you fair warning. Do you remember what I said? Something about wiping the floor with you if you ever hurt this girl over here? ... *Luke tries to remember his exact wording. It fails him. He decides it's immaterial.*
*Luke sighs and takes off his jacket.* *He's so preoccupied that he doesn't even notice the two people fading in* Alright. *He points to Tac.* You. Me. It's go time.

Tac holds out hia hand, palm facing Luke, "I don't want to fight you Luke. It would only cause Cora more pain than whatever it is she feels. Whatever she wants to hide from us, its fine with me for now...but I won't fight you. You can beat the living s**t outta me for all I care, but I'm not going to hurt one of Cora's friends."

:::Cora barely sees or hears anything else going on around her, the emotion was just so overwhelming, not to mention she wasn't used to having emotion at all to begin with, so there she stayed in K's arms, sobbing a little more quietly, but crying none the less:::

K put his arms down once she'd faded out completely...
"Oooh boy..." He realized that things might start to become violent now. He walked over to Luke's side.
"Luke...hey, listen, he says he wasn't doing anything, let's just talk about this first. I mean, I don't think Cora was in a fashion to talk to us straightforwardly, right?"

Vincent was rather amused by the sight, turning around on his barstool as he crushed out his cigarette in the ashtray that just seemed to be there for him. He quickly lit another one, and plopped the lighter on the bar with a loud thud, as if trying to distract the other's long enough so they'd get even angrier.
