Caleb was sitting on the steps, eating quietly. His Marshtomp tapped him on the shoulder. Caleb shooed him and continued eating. Tapped again.
"Whuf?" Caleb asked with a mouthful of food. That's so impolite Caleb. His Marshtomp gestured to the empty yard. Caleb stopped eating and stared.
Way to pay attention.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" Caleb asked exasperated, he put together a doggie bag of food before putting it in his backpack. His Marshtomp just shrugged and shook his head.
"So where did they go?" Caleb asked. Marshtomp stared blankly at him. Then rubbed his face. He ran across the yard and picked up a stick before crudely drawing a submarine in the dirt. Caleb squinted hard at the doodle, trying to figure out what the heck he was looking at. It honestly looked like a bunch of scribbles to him.

Rei watched as more and more people joined him onto the submarine. When it seemed that everyone was aboard, he gave Maddy the ok to begin heading towards Ambrette Town. Right as Rei went to close the hatch, two bodies thrust themselves into the submarine.
"Augh!"
"Sorry, sorry!"
"Marshtomp!"
Chaos ensued. Rei was squashed by a large blue blob, and Caleb hastened to seal the hatch, his body tangled up with Rei and Marshtomp. Sausages flung out everywhere in the submarine, much to Caleb's dismay. Pushing the Marshtomp's rear away from his face, Rei called out.
"Glad you could make it, Caleb. Now get off of me!"
The trip continued without delay, and in a short while, the Aquans found themselves outside the Ambrette Aquarium once more, filling out paperwork to get diving gear for the underwater caverns.
"Take care not to kill yourselves in the new cavern," the receptionist said dully. "We haven't finished exploring it ourselves, but we're pretty sure nothing's too dangerous in there." She popped her bubble gum. "Still, you have to sign this waiver." She held out sheets of paper for everyone. Rei took a sheet and read it over.
"Well, I suppose that's fair," he muttered, signing the paper. "Don't see why I would hold an aquarium responsible for any damages I did to myself, though, but I can see someone trying." He waited for the rest of the crew to finish signing the papers.

Maddy signed the papers without hesitation.
"Nothing too dangerous? Lame." She said, handing her form back to the receptionist.
"At least I get to wear my Rayquaza bikini this time."
Maddy loved to collect bikinis. She bought a new bikini every time she went into a store. She spent tons of money on bikinis. Maddy had a problem.

When they arrived at the Aquarium Michael quickly read over the waiver and signed it real quick. Squirt refused to be back in his pokeball and waited for the others to be ready.

Caleb grumbled all the way to the aquarium. They had seemed to be making a lot of frequent visits to Ambrette Town. Perhaps that was just his imagination though? Nah...
Caleb took the clipboard from the receptionist and looked over it.
"I don't remember having to sign one of these before..." he muttered. Arms came from behind him and suddenly his face was being stretched out.
"Owowowowowwww...." he complained.
"New company policy bro..." his sister told him with a grin. She waved to the other Aqua members. Caleb huffed as he passed the signed form back to the receptionist. "Your Lanturn is such a sweetie Caleb...but that Gyarados of yours...." Rene added.
Caleb stared, "what about it?"
Rene narrowed her eyes at him, "he is a handful...have you even let him out of his ball once since you caught him? Poor fella..."
Caleb shifted his eyes. "Not many places I can just let him out in Lumiose..." he muttered. Caleb hadn't forgotten the incident in catching him.
Rene sighed, "well I wouldn't say take him to the caverns...that place has seen enough Gyarados damage lately as it is...but you should at least take your Lanturn."
"Fiiiine..." Caleb sighed. He was actually going to ask about taking her just for the occasion.
His sister grinned, "great!" She handed over a poke ball to him.

Having signed their lives away, Rei led the group to the entrance of the underwater caverns.
"Ok guys, for those of you who weren't here last time, just letting you know, Relicanth swarms are a thing here. Or, at least, they were. Maybe they were chased off. But if they suddenly drag you away somewhere, don't panic, they'll let you go eventually." With that, he dove into the water and pulled out his Kingdra.
He gestured it to lead the way, and hung on to her large tail as she dragged him into the caverns.

Michael followed Rei with Squirt in tow. Upon reaching the entrance he nodded at Squirt who waded in and waited. A few seconds later Michael was without his shirt and diving in to wait to go explore the caves. He looked at Squirt who seemed content just floating on his back while he waited.

Dark follows along with his glimmering red Gyarados, Scarlet. It was her or his Clauncher, Bass and Bass was currently DJ-ing for an underwater party elsewhere.
"Alright so if we get into any more battles down here we've gotta keep it close. Okay Scarlet?" Dark asks his Pokemon.
She scoffs at him. No way would she let some wild trash scuff up her beautiful scales.

Caleb changed on the way there. By the time everyone was jumping out of the sub, he was all set.
Marshtomp jumped out right away, turning on his back and doing a backstroke.
"Big showoff..." Caleb muttered, letting out his Lanturn before following. She seemed quite pleased to be with them again. The tank at the aquarium was nicer than the bathtub and all, but she still had missed her friends.

Last time Rei remembered the caverns, it was a glimmering, colorful underwater set of passageways, bouncing the sun's light throughout much of the area. There was no such sight to be seen this time around. The gems were nowhere to be found, and rough, jagged rocks replaced the smooth stones from before. A dark, sticky substance covered much of the walls, and it was impossible to see very far, even with the assistance of Lanturn and flashlights.
Rei's Kingdra huffed. The gunk covering the wall was Pokémon-made, not "natural." She swam ahead into the darkness, determined to dish out justice to the creator of the mess. In the far distance, a dim red light glowed, catching Leviathan's attention. The Kingdra turned to Lanturn and Gyarados, sounded a rallying cry, and raced ahead, Rei in tow.

Caleb had just barely grabbed on to his Lanturn before she was off. She hurried along after Leviathan without much regard for Caleb's pleas of slowing down. Marshtomp tried to keep up as best as he could.

Scarlet had ignored the order and started going slower to avoid getting any of the gunk on her. If so much as a drop touched her she would whip up a whirlpool and clean up the entire corridor really fast... And also probably drown anything that couldn't breathe underwater.

Rei was bumped along the underwater passage for a long ways, the reddish glow getting brighter and brighter. The Aquan felt as if eyes were watching him everywhere, but every time he turned to look, he only faced the inky darkness. At last, the Kingdra came to a stop. The Pokémon and their trainers were in a large, round chamber completely covered in pulsing red gems. In the center of the chamber was the single largest diamond Rei had ever seen. But something about the whole place bothered him. He couldn't put his finger on it. He turned to his Kingdra and gestured to return to the surface, only to find her mesmerized by the diamond! She ignored Rei's frantic waving and moved ever closer to the gem.
Suddenly, the red gems surrounding the chamber pulsed at once, and multitudes of tentacles wrapped around the Kingdra.
Tentacruel!
The chamber erupted into chaos, and Rei's stomach plummeted. What he thought were strange gems were actually hundreds of Tentacool and Tentacruel. He tried recalling his Kingdra, but the many tentacles prevented her safe return. She was stuck, and in no small amount of danger.
In desperation, Rei turned to the rest of the group, gestured for assistance against the jellyfish, and sent out his Gyarados. The sea serpent was more than happy to wreak havoc on the Tentacruel, enraged at the capture of his good friend Kingdra.
Use 1 Pokémon to do underwater battle with a huge horde of Tentacruel. The Pokémon used will gain one Evo Point.

Dark pats Scarlet on the had and she quickly retreats, leading a horde of Tentacruel away from the rest of the group. The speed down a path that continues to get more narrow until they finally reach a dead end.
"Crap." Dark thinks as the two spin around to see the opposing Pokemon bottle-necking towards them.
"Oh, awesome." Dark thinks."Bulldoze 'em Scarlet!"
The shimmering red Gyarados growls in agreement and attacks one, KOing it after the hit. Dark's glasses shimmer in the glowing red light of the Tentacruel's orbs as Scarlet's attack and speed are raised thanks to her Moxie ability. She then Bulldozes the next one, receiving the same benefits. Soon she was fighting with incredible power, flattening any Pokemon to dare look at her without amazement. Soon she grew board, annoyed that the jellyfish continue their pathetic assault.
"Okay Scarlet, let's finish this. Giga Impact."
She swims back to the end of the cave and swiftly turns around. She races towards the large group and suddenly stops, slamming into the water in front of her like a wall, creating an immense shockwave of pure pressure. The powerful wave blasts into the Tentacruel with incredible force, knocking them out of the tunnel and into the dark depths of the ocean.
Dark lets Scarlet take her time to return to the group as she had to rest from the attack.
