Sabe tried to get up from the bed. His balance was a bit off, but he could still stand up and not fall over.
"Now start walking."
He took a few steps forward. His legs buckled just a little.
"It isn't perfect, but fine enough." Koteki said as he left the room. He came back a few minutes later with a set of Sabe's clothes and his trademark scarf.
"We washed your clothes and scarf yesterday, so change into these." he said, giving the bundle to Sabe and leaving again. Waffle helped Sabe walk into the bathroom so he could shower and change into his clothes.

Seeing that Mandi had gotten into the M&Ms Pen smiled and rolled her eyes. "Of course but maybe you shouldn't be in charge of the M&Ms and chocolate chips." She chuckled and took out a large bowl and a cookie sheet.
Lets see. 2 sticks of shorting, 1 and half cup of brown sugar, 1 and half cup of..." Pen chanted the ingredients as they went into the bowl. She asked Mandi to stir the batter as she went to crush the M&Ms. When the batter became absolutely smoothed Pen added the semi sweet chocolate chips and crushed M&Ms.
Then scooped onto the tray the cookies were baked and before they cooled entirely full M&Ms were pressed in.
"I think that will do it!"

Luciano took a few moments to look at the wrap sheets. Some resided in South Durem, one of them lived near the 'War Zone' of Durem- the 'neutral zone' of Durem, a spot where it was any one's game- Luciano clenched his jaw. The Man was a Vampire. This made Luciano want to only find him just so he could kill him.

"Well this should be interesting."
Standing outside of the huge ornate building, Cherry, holding her single bag, was about to enter the hideout of the most notorious gang in Durem, probably in all of Gaia. The same gang she had been stealing from for fun. She sighed a big sigh and entered the building. While she was sure that no one would really be able to recognize her just by looking at her, she did wear a mask after all, she still felt a big awkward in this place.
She swung her backpack of goodies around her shoulder. Although she had tons of stuff she could have brought, she realized she had no real connection to most of it, as most of it was stolen and not really hers. She had only taken a few necessities, some clothing, and a pendant she had had since she could remember. It was all she really needed anyway.
After walking down an obscenely long hallway, she reached what seemed to be a lobby-like area. There didn't seem to be anyone around. She looked around awkwardly, wondering what exactly she had to do. Humorously, she mused about getting shot by a random member of the gang for looking like she didn't belong. That would be pretty funny.

When Luciano and Skotti finished their conversation, he walked down to the Lobby area to see if mail had come, yet. When he came down, he saw a female Elf holding a bag- obviously she was new. So Luciano approached her, "'Ello, Ma'am, may I help you?" he asked politely. Despite how busy him and Skotti were about to be.

Skotti loaded his magnums, placed them in his chest holsters, and walked out to the commons. "Who's that there, Luciano?" he asked.

Luciano smiled, "I'm going to assume that this is a new addition to our team." he replied ot Skotti. He held out his hand to shake Cherry's, and he said to her, "Welcome. I'm Commander Luciano Aguierre-Cheverria."

Pen came out with a platter of the M&M cookies out to the lobby where she had heard Luc and Skotti. "Hey you guys want some M&M cookies? Preferbly before Mandi has eaten all of them." She chuckled the last sentence but when she did get to the Lobby she also noticed the new member.
"Cookie?" Pen said holding out the platter to the new elf.

Luciano took a cookie and then he said, with his mouth semi-full, "Mandi made these, didn't she?- You can always tell. She makes them with lots of M&M's and love. Tons of love- Michelle makes awesome cookies, too. . . Mmmmmm. . . Tea- Damn. I want tea now." He finished his cookie and then took another.

Pen smirked and told Luc who really made the cookies with a very confident tone. "Actually Bro, I made them so thank you, glad you like them. Mandi however did make some snicker doodles." Pen then placed the platter down next to the snicker doddles on the table in the lobby. Then she turned back to introduce herself to the new recruit.
"I'm Penelope Huggins. But really I prefer just Pen."

Luciano softly gasped, he then said to Pen, "My God. . ." he took a couple more and then he looked at her, "These are Orgasmic." he bit into one, and then then grabbed a couple Snicker Doddles.

Pen stood with a very confident look. "Why thanks but I better help Mandi clean up." She waved off and headed back into the kitchen to deal with the mess Mandi and she made.

Luciano waved 'bye' to Pen as she walked off to help Mandi clean up, but then he called after her, "Hey! Wanna get me some milk to go with this? Yeah?"

The hours afterward went by smoothly and rather fast. All of the other attendants were extremely happy that Sabe was back, and Waffle's parents were glad that they could finally get some sleep at night. The clerics from the nobility stayed around for breakfast, then headed back to their residences to catch up on sleep.
Sabe was more than willing to get return to HQ, but as he was going into the room the portal was in, Waffle stopped him.
"Wait, it's mid-late December, isn't it?" she asked.
"Yeah...?"
"How about we go get them some presents?" Waffle suggested, smiling a bit.
"Waffle, there's no way I'm going to walk around all day. I just managed to walk again today."
"Who said we were walking around all day? I was planning on heading to this one shop and getting everyone at HQ something different."
"Is it the one downtown?"
"Yeah!"
Sabe sighed.
"...fine. I'll come with you."
"Good!" Waffle said as she dragged him with her to who knows where.
