The black Spring is covered in Xyn's background, not sure how much info can be use. I wouldn't mind redoing the Heikin mission I did in Sawa someday.

~Year 102~
Associating with other people in the village was of no concern to Xyn. He needed not to get involved in such trivial things as other people's lives. However, living in the village made such a thing unavoidable. Since his first day at the academy, he was always the target of one particular student who constantly challenged him during exercises. Such a thing would be normal if these contests ever had a winner. Xyn and his unintentional rival Sorri would always get grouped together, and no matter what either of them did, the exercise always ended in a tie. Xyn was always satisfied with these outcomes and cared not how Sorri felt either way, ignoring any comments the boy would make.
Xyn believed knowledge was power, and despite not wanting to get involved with other people, he learned as much as he could about the village and everyone in it. Although, to follow the precepts, Xyn had to work for such information, or exchange information on himself in return. Only when asking for information did Xyn ever engage in a conversation with other people, although there were a few exceptions. Seeing himself indebted to Maya, he went out of his way to prove himself to her in order to find a balance between the two. After a few months, Xyn grew an attachment to the girl, although he would deny such a thing even to himself.
Since he was no longer under the watchful eye of the clan elders, Xyn began his own studies, keeping a journal of not only what he learned, but applying what he learned. One of the interests he has grown into is writing poetry.
~Year 103-104~
It was little surprise to Xyn that he would once again be paired with Sorri, this time as a genin team. This only intensified the rivalry between the young Ibazi and Douken, especially as the village once again was forced into a war. At first, Xyn refused to fight. He didn't see why he needed to take part in such a conflict. Things only became more complicated when the people he was slowly considering his friends fought against the Meho clan. His desire to stay neutral and his desire to protect the people he had grown to care about clashed as fiercely as the war itself. The deciding factor was his teammates. During a battle, Serena had been captured. Despite Xyn's best efforts to save her, it was Sorri who managed to complete the task. This was the first instance in which Xyn truly and finally established the Ibazi as a rival. If he could not save Serena, what good could he be at Maya's side? Xyn decided to study more of Sorri's skill, hoping to develop his own fighting style. It built to a point that Xyn started to use string in battle much like the Ibazi jutsus. Throughout the conflict, Xyn fought while trying to find a reason for why he was fighting. Each opponent he faced, he started to ask before attacking; "What is your reason for fighting?". Not usually waiting for an answer, Xyn started to develop his own reasons. "I'll fight to assert my existence". Xyn began to realize that life and death were balanced by struggle. Those who live struggle not to die, and those who are dying struggle to live. He could only find balance through this struggle. With such thoughts in his mind, Xyn began training more than ever to achieve the goals he had set forth for himself, and the goals he would one day need to accomplish to become leader of his clan.

Sawa
Academy~
To investigate the state of the world, many children were sent to many different lands to gain information on the cultures and determine the amount of effort to "convert" them to the Heikin faith. Because of Xyn's adeptness with genjutsu, he was chosen to attend the first shinobi academy in Shimagakure. Unknown to Xyn, such a measure caused contraversy within the clan, as the shinobi world was gaining influence. Many thought of turning to the ninja arts in order to further their goals, while others thought of the manipulation of nature as blasphemy. Deciding to put their trust in Xyn, they kept close watch over the boy's progression as he learned to become a shinobi.

Associating with other people in the village was of no concern to Xyn. He needed not to get involved in such trivial things as other people's lives. However, living in the village made such a thing unavoidable. He managed to make friends against his better judgement, make rivals that pushed him to excell, and even... fall in love.

Chuunin~
Fighting to defend the village over and over, Xyn became attached to the island and the people in it. Although knowing his true loyalties had to be to his clan, the boy found himself risking his life and even his beliefs in order to defend others. In doing this, parts of his memories started to return, and his true personality had started to surface, one a great deal different from the one everyone had grown to understand. He found himself needing to find a person for existing other than the teachings, his own reason for being, and not one that was given to him. He especially felt a need to prove his existence when Maya left the village after the island was attacked. Believing she had died, Xyn attempted to stay in the village, but after a few years, returned to his home village.

Noting the amount of conflict that Shimagakure had dealt with, the Douken decided the shinobi world was too full of conflict and inheritly unneccessary. Making Xyn a general, the Douken elders gave him the task of bring balance to the shinobi way. This, of course, meant wiping out all shinobi throughout the world, thus ending inevitable conflict. Troubled lands that would contract shinobi were quickly invaded by Douken missionaries, for the dual purpose of teaching people that it was the shinobi who brought conflict to the world, and to set a trap for these shinobi. It was by mere chance that a squad of shinobi that Xyn encountered in one of the villages was led by his childhood friend Maya. His leniancy in dealing with her immediate caused the elders to take action, and when Xyn refused to kill her, his own trusted subordinates were assassinated instead as the price for his betrayal. Agreeing to help Maya and the new village she now inhabited, Xyn saw that the Heikin faith was being used to commit many crimes he believed went against the principles. The elders had collected their knowledge of the changes to the world and created a second book of the Heikin. While the first book centered around maintaining the balance of the world, the principles of creation, the second book sought to forcibly balance the world, the principles of destruction. Seeing that the elders wished to return the world to nothingness, he helped stop their plans, causing the brainwashing he had undergone to finally wear off. This was a double-edged sword, as he realized the method of his reprogramming was to kill his own mother, thereby preventing him from desiring to remember his past. Though nearly comatose, Xyn was able to overcome his grief when he saw Maya in danger. Just barely defeating Xyn's brother, who had been driven completely insane by the brainwashing process, the elders were forced to destroy the entire village in an attempt to keep whatever secrets they had left. With nowhere else to go, Xyn returned to the shinobi village with Maya and agreed to swear his loyalty to the kage... for his own personal reasons.
