The Lusitanians are trying to swipe my Iberian Colonies, pirates keep blockading my ports, the Ptolemys wont back down from the war they started (Even after taking Memphis and Alexandria from them), mercenaries keep swallowing up my seasonal earnings, and now Rome is starting to eye Messana and Syracuse after being quiet for 30 years. Ugh.

@Des: Europa Barbarorum, the highly acclaimed mod of Rome: Total War. More Factions. More Territories. Realistic Units. 100% Increase in Historical accuracy. Faction specific goals, events, and names. Its what Rome: Total War should have been.
@Nelo: When you play as Carthage, everyone's out after your cash. I just crushed the Iberians, thus freeing my reserves up to finish wipeing Ptolemaic Egypt out of existance. As long as I've kept out of Messena, Rome has focused its attentions on dealing with the Gaulic tribes and Pyrrhos' Epeirote holdings east of Italy and on the boot of the penninsula. ironically, our alliance has been rather cordial and only recently have they made attemps on aquiring land in Sicily. They had just been beaten back by the locals so it gives me some breathing room to marshal some forces to defend my side of the the Island. Heh. 248 BC and no sign of the first Punic War. Already I've rewritten History.

Johnny would Recomend Medieval 2, and the EB group is working on a mod for that. As I'm a fan of the Classical Era, I prefer Rome: Total War. Gold edition comes with Barbarian Invasion, which takes place towards the End of the Roman Empire, but if you're looking to Install EB, I'd not install that one.

Right, well we aren't pirates.
Besides, I wonder, what background or reputation do we want to have...? I do intend to have the group join the Rebellion at one point...

So not only are you a specieist, but you stereotype as well. Nice Des. Real Nice. Just because I play a Starship Captain in an RP, you just automatically assume he's a pirate. Thats crap. Discrimination of the worst degree.
