If there is a large airport near you, try applying for TSA, it’s not the most glamorous job and the app process is long but it pays well and it’s a federal job.

Most places will still take paper applications if you go into the store and ask management for it directly. I agree it can be annoying not to be able to meet a manager in person, but there are ways to turn the online app to your advantage. If you know the place is looking for new workers, and you turn in an online app, you pretty much have a free card to call up management and ask for an interview. Essentially you want to turn the fact that they won't meet you in person right back in their faces. It also shows initiative on the applicants part.

The fragmented sentences were used intentionally, Thanatos. They were used to emphasize very clipped, irritated, and out of patience frame of emotions.

And now, because of increased stress and emotional instability Teggie takes a leave of absence. Just pretend my characters went out and made themselves scarce. Tegral went and built a log cabin and Rookin and Kah are, I dunno, halfway across the galaxy.

For those of you in the process of losing jobs, already lost their job or currently looking for a job... might I suggest some form of telecommunications company? They are always hiring and it's always good money, however there will be long hours but that's part of the job.
