He moved his arms as she pulled away to gently take her face in his hands, carressing the cheeks, "Cora, I said it before and I'll say it again, whatever it is, it doesn't matter. I love you, every last bit. If theres something you're scared of letting me know, don't be. I said it before and I'll say it again, as long as you're not an instrument of genocide, I'm fine with it. Hell, I deal with those on a daily basis, one of them is actually kinda a fun guy."

Tac stands there stunned, not able to form any coherent response for a moment, stepping forward, but this time not reaching out to touch or embrace her, "Cora, just tell me what the big deal is. There can't be anything more horrible that you hold within yourself than my, literal, inner demons. The evil within me haints my thoughts every second of every day, the abomination that lives within me, urging me to commit acts I simply don't want to do. If you hold anything anywhere near as bad as that I should know, if its anything less then I don't think you should be worried about telling me. You've seen my demons, let me at least see yours."

*At just that time, he heard Cora cry out "NO!!!" and pull away from Tacitus.*
*Luke jumps. An internal response, Luke takes to his feet over to Cora.* What's going on? What happened?
*He fixes his stare on Tacitus.* *He still holding his beer bottle. Luke's taken quite an intimidating stance as he waits for Cora's response.*

:::Her eyes dart back and forth between Luke and Tac, her heart began to pound so loud she could hardly hear her thoughts, so she made them louder:::

:::She began to breathe heavily, tears began to stroll down her cheeks, it was too much. Cora put her hands over her face, and dug it into the closest set of shoulders, which happened to be Lukes. There she just sobbed, afraid.:::

Naturally, K wondered what all the comotion was about. He too got up, and walked over to see what was going on. By the time he got there, Cora was crying in Luke's arms. He was certainly confused.

Tac blinked as she broke down into tears, and with Luke standing there with a bottle looking none too friendly he wished he hadn't taken aprt his guns for cleaning. He begins stuttering, pointing betwen himself, her, and Luke, "I...bu...sh...a..th...an....bu..."

*Luke blinks, flinches as Cora suddenly starts to cry on him. His face belies the smallest shard of emotion as he watches her breakdown. He lets Cora go at it, and even manages to put an arm around her. He's getting better at this comforting thing apparently, whether that's a good thing or not he's unsure.*
*As he's half-holding her, he shoots up a look at Tac that reads very clearly: If you hurt her so help me God, you'll be eating your food through a straw.*
*Keeping half an eye on Tac, he regards Cora.* Hey, Slim. Hey.... Hey.... *He's trying to get her to look at him.* What happened, babe?

Tac actually seemed to back away from Luke slightly, actually seeming scared a bit from Luke's glare. This didn't look good, not at frigging all. He looked around for a place to hide before he responded, "I didn't do anything, we were talking. I swear!"
