  Location: Quidditch Pitch : Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff Jasper looked over to Cathy when she asked if he had someone cheering for him. "Yes, just Alice." he replied, granted it wasn't just Alice. When the game was called to start Jasper knew who to aim at, the Gryffindor Seeker. That was always the more strategic way of starting the game. Getting into the air Jasper located an incoming bludger before swinging his beater bat it in in hopes of hitting Julius early. Status: Nervous...   Location: Quidditch Pitch : Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff Leonette's eyes meet with Cathy's when she looked over at her. Giving a small smile, the fifth year didn't bother saying anything. As the game was called to start and the whisle was blown, Leonette got ready before shooting out for the quaffle. She needed to get it before someone else on the Hufflepuff team did. There was only one way to do that and that was win the toss. If they could gain the lead at the very beginning Gryffindor could certainly keep their moral up. Status: Looking forward to the season. He shot into the air, feeling like a bird for a moment, and let his broom fly like it wanted too, before looking around. Not many were in the air. And Cathy was headed to the Quaffle. While It seemed Celaena's new boyfriend was already trying to spot the snitch. He had to give the guy credit. He was going too... Until he heard two bludger bats hit. He turned to see Jasper aimed at Julius. It was a miss, and Ronna aim at Cathy. Oh hell No! The dirty blonde chuckled as he flew forwards to intercept the bludger. If he saved in time, it was going right back at Ronna

She saw the young Hufflepuff and Leo go up for the quaffle with the puff actually getting and flew down towards her to steal it.

She sucked at scoring, something she readily admitted, and if they wanted a shot at the cup again this year, she needed to, well, not have a chance to take a shot if that made any sense.

XXXXXXXXXXX --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ronna made a 'tsk' as Raph managed to save the young Hufflepuff, though Tanya had quickly stole the quaffle back and the girl failed to retrieve it, but that thought quickly wasn't allowed to process as she heard the bludger she had just sent that way being returned towards her. There was no way Toby could get to save her in time-and besides, usually beaters had better things to worry about than other beaters. And she managed to move just enough only for the bludger to clip her right side-it still hurt like Hell, but she'd live, besides beaters were used to taking a few hits. But seriously someone had to make sure none of Raph's hits got towards any of the Gryffindor teammates because her classmate had a pretty nasty swing. Good to remember she supposed. Not that she doubted the Hufflepuff's swing strength ever.

: Seeker Currently: LOOKING FOR THE SNITCH Chasing the Snitch: XXX/3 (Need a 19 or above to Spot) Catching the Snitch: XXX/2 (Need a 22 or above to Catch) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Julius felt a little guilty he was relieved it was his classmate, Jasper, who was the beater who aimed at him (and missed), and not the sixth year Raph who was preoccupied with saving one of the chaser's from Veronica's bludger which he managed to hit back at her. That looked like it hurt he noted in passing as he continued to search the field for the snitch. Hopefully he could spot it before Jess did. He was fairly confident if he didn't get the head start on chasing the snitch the Hufflepuff seeker (the girl Dori, was so drooling over not only at the platform but the sorting feast when she was talking to him) would probably catch the snitch first. {OoC: XXXXXXXXXXXXX}

Granted Tanya was good so it was reasonable the girl wasn't going to be easy to steal from but she had to at least try. None of her fellow chasers had yet attempted a steal again, and it was the one thing in chasing she was strongest at. It seemed wrong to not at least try again. Cathy leaned forward reached out a hand hoping to manage to snatch the quaffle from the much taller and definitely more experienced chaser... {OoC}
