Luciano nodded, "I reckon, it has. . . I refuse to do the Devil's work." he said softly and then he adjusted his mask.

Sabe settled down just a little as Waffle kept him in her arms. He turned his head to the doorway as Koteki was coming into the room carrying a violet elixir in a fairly large flask.
Koteki laughed mirthfully as he saw Waffle and Sabe back together.
"It's always good seeing you two together."
Waffle looked toward her father and turned pale for a short moment as if she got caught doing something. Her father maintained his smile as he walked to the other side of the bed. He looked at Waffle with a sudden sympathetic expression.
"Can you keep Sabe calm while I get him to take this?" he asked, raising the flask.

(Ah! I missed so much. YAY Scarf boy is alive!!)
After the driving lesson Pen came back home after dropping Gwen off. She walked into the lobby to smell fresh cookies. She wandered over the to table that held that aroma and looked for the baker in charge.
Finding Mandi which was no surprised she asked, "Nice job Bosslady. Could I have one of the cookies?"

Mandi turned around with a half eaten cookie in her mouh to see Pen. She nodded "Mhmm, yeah. Go ahead!"

"Oh, good." Pen dove and took one of the snicker doodles. "Tell me if you are going to bake again I have great recipe for M&M cookies." Pen said then took a bite. "Mhmm yummy"

Mandi rubbed her bulging tummy. "M&M's cookies?! That sounds heavenly!" Mandi said, delighted, grabbing Pen's arm and dragging her to the kitchen.

"Uh...sure?" Waffle said, uncertain.
"Good."
Koteki's right hand began to glow, and within a few seconds, magic shackles bound Sabe to the bed to keep him from squirming. Waffle was shocked, and even more so when her father forced Sabe's mouth open. She stood there for a while until she was reminded of her 'job'. Waffle soothed Sabe as the bitter elixir was poured down his throat.
As he swallowed the potion, Sabe honestly wanted to cough it back up. Still, he made sure that it stayed down. When he ingested all of it, he started feeling as if he finally had more control over himself.
"Ugh... I never want to take that potion again."
"Well, I guess that's good for you, because you won't have to. You seem to be fine. Try getting up from bed."

Pen almost lost her cookie as she grabbed into the kitchen. She chuckled seeing Mandi enthusiasm and let herself be thrown into the kitchen. "Well I guess now is better than later." She chuckled gathering the ingredients. "I hope your helping as well right Mandi." Finding it more fun to bake with someone instead of all alone.

Luciano walked over to the desk and opened up the file as he spoke, "Precisely. We find these people, we question them, and hopefully we can make a connection and REALLY find out what is going on."
