"Yes. But I mean I have feelings for those who are close to me. I just have greater feelings for Mist then Storm. I just hope...." his voice trailed off as he saw Storm curled up in a ball.
"Storm!" he barked as he dashed off.
Once he reached her, he nudged her.

Storm didn't look at Fate. It would be even harder to go forget about him if she saw him. Slowly, she raised to her feet, and walked away from him.

Fate wanted to follow her but his ears slunk down. He knew why she walked away and he couldn't do anything now.
Fate looked down at the cold ground below his paws.
"Storm...." he called gently.

Fate pleaded as he looked at her with his wings drooped.

Vera stopped and watched the exchange of nudges and glances silently then gave Fate a knowing look. She walked after Storm and sat nearby.
"He does care for you, you know. It's hard for him as well, I can see it in the way he looks at you." She sighed and stood up again restlessly. "You're Storm?"
She padded back and forth as she tried to think of any way to help hem both out but nothing came to her. "Sorry to say I can't tell you that I know how you feel but I can suggest that it'll be easier for you to just wait this out and be happy for him. It's exhilarating for himto soon be a new father but he's gonna explode if he's penning up emotion for you as well. Talk to him, Storm." She closed her eyes slowly and stopped her pacing for a brief second before resuming her tread.

Fate knew Vera wanted to help and he wanted too, but he was horrible at this stuff. Horrible.

Fate darted off when he caught up to her he was panting. One fast puppy there.
Jumped and grabbed the scruff of her neck gently just enough to bring her down to the ground without drawing blood.
"Storm Listen to me. I'vebeen alone for nearly all my life, and it was my fault. Because I was too scared to face what I had been fearing at what I had become. Think Storm! Think! Do you really want this for yourself? Do you? Cause sure as hell, I dont!" He looked straight into her eyes deeply, his voice was booming but not threatening. Just enough to get his words through her head.

Vera barked at Storm as she fled and when she was ignored growled before taking off after the she-wolf.
"Yo, Storm!" She lept after her, pacing herself since Storm would surely tire sooner or later. She watched as Fate sped ahead of her and tackled Storm. She stopped short of them to let them have space but kept an eye open for their surroundings and watching the cave openning where she knew Fate's mate still was, alone.

Fate didn't know how to answer her after that, silence took over him for a second.
"Then stay... Maybe Mist and me won't work, maybe you'll find another love. Please, you don't want to spend your life in vain thinking about the same thing again and again. Just to wish you hadn't done it."
