~.Kaarii.~ Samantha
Looking up from the ground, Samantha was surprised to see a man standing above her. She blushed, feeling her cheeks redden. Quickly scrambling to her feet, Sam managaed to flash him a reassuring smile, "I'm fine. The tree attacked me because it was jealous of my happiness." She laughed at herself, "Isn't this rain great? We haven't had a proper rainstorm in quite some time." A small sweatdrop formed on the back of Ky's head as the girl ranted on about how the tree attacked her. He looked up to the sky as she commented on the weather. "Yeah. You don't see many thunderstorms this high into the mountains. It's really all snow that we get up here. My sword enjoys what little rain we get. The current's jumping like mad." To prove his point, he held up the Furraiken for her to observe the electricity jumping up and down the blade. Now that I think about it, what is your name? I'm trying to learn as many names as possible right now...trying to get myself ready for when my father leaves me the throne."

Samantha
Samantha took a brief moment before the force of his words finally struck her. 'Oh my god, he's the Prince! And I'm standing here babling. Oh my god!' Feeling a flush creep up her cheeks, Samantha took a hasty bow to the man, "My apologies. I didn't realize that you were the Prince. How is your father doing?" She smiled charmingly at him. Brushing a slick, brown strand of hair away from her face, she stuck out her hand, "I'm Samantha by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you." Her red eyes flashed with mischievousness.

"My father is doing just fine. All that's "affecting" him is his "age"...Honestly, my father's only in his late fourties. He's not old at all, but he still thinks that he's old enough that he can step down and give me the throne." He sighed heavily. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Samantha. I'm pretty sure you already know who I am." He took her hand and, instead of shaking it, placed a kiss upon it. "But just for the record, I am Ky Kiske the Sixth. Head of the Sacred Order of Thundaria, and heir to the throne."

Samantha
Samantha bit her lip staring at her hand, then turned her attention back to "Ky Kiske the Sixth" with a shy smile. "What brings you out of the castle today? Besides the beautiful weather of course," Sam asked, gesturing to the flashing sky above them. There wasn't anyplace she should be right now. Her parents weren't expecting her back for hours, but she had a few errands she probably should finish before going home. She'd been putting far too many off for days. 'Blame it on the procrastination side of me,' Sam always told her parents or any other authorities - like teachers. School was out for the time being.

"Just to get out and walk around, really. There's no reason that anybody in the royal family shouldn't get out once in a while. Normally, my parents are too busy with their royal duties to walk around, and things are pretty quiet with the Order. Now that I think about it, where are you supposed to be right now?"

Samantha
Samantha laughed, "I don't have to be anywhere, but I probably should finish up a few things before I get home or my parents will be angry." She began walking away from her previous spot, "You're welcome to come along if you like. I need to buy a new lightning rod for our house after this storm." She was missing something, but she wasn't sure what.

Ky shrugged and started after her. "It's not like I have anything to do right now. Besides, I'd like to meet new people. Seeing the same people coming in and out of the castle can get quite boring..."

{[ That's all you give me to work with?!? scream ]}
Samantha
Samantha laughed to herself, "It's not much fun around here when you don't have any enemies to conquer is it? It's much too quiet." She herself didn't like the art of war much, but she liked a good duel every now and then. "I'm not very good, but would you like to duel me for fun? The rain's not going to keep up forever and this weather is perfect!"
