Isi looked up at the sound of a slightly familiar voice. Turning his head, Isi moved his light brown gray hair out of his eyes. He had his head down, lying on the table for a quick nap while the multitudes of people in the crowd found themselves entertained by the other events in the fair. Now someone was addressing him. Oh, it was Namini!

"Namini!" he said in surprise, smiling blearily, "Yeah, we're still here. We'll be here until the fair closes and I'm positive I won't be moving anywhere soon." Isi quietly patted his weak legs and hoped she got his meaning.

Eiry, on the other hand, was curled up and sleeping behind the booth on the grass, bedded in a lush green mat of grass.

"No! you can't carry me. I don't accept charity," Isi snapped quickly with the quick narrow of his stormy eyes. He realized, after he said it, that he must've come off as a growly jerk. She was just trying to help, but...Isi's pride was too much for him to control. Nobody helps him. Nobody. He can do it on his own! Well...Nobody but Aphi. Only Aphi, though, his mind decided stubbornly, just because they were related and he owed so much to him already. Realizing that he was giving her a deathly glower that could freeze bone marrow, Isi backed off slowly like ice melting in the sun and gave an apologetic smile. He reached back behind his head and scratched his neck absently, trying not to make eye contact with Namini. He was grateful for her asking another question and he quickly answered it for her, hoping that he didn't accidentally scare her away. "Eiry? He's fine, he's back here behind the booth, taking nap. He's tuckered out for his first day."

Isi smiled, feeling the pangs of guilt twist his stomach for snapping at this kind...somewhat oblivious lady. Usually, anyone who endured Isi's loathe for charity would turn away with shoulders slumped and knees shaking, but she was shyly offering up...ice cream. Isi sighed and gave a warm smile, "Thank you very much, Namini. You didn't have to, but I would like that a lot. I haven't had the chance to go visit my brother's charge for food yet today. Eiry..." Isi glanced back again at the minty green frei. He was passed out on the ground, mouth open and drooling, "Eiry doesn't have a tummy yet to digest with so I'm afraid he can't eat the ice cream. He'd much rather a dead bouquet anyways."

"Eiry eats death," Isi offered up as he made sure no ice cream spilled onto the merchandise. He cleared a spot on the table for the tray and pushed the cash box somewhere safe and somewhere where he could keep an eye on it. "It's the substance he feeds off of with him being a will o' the wisp and all...Namini would you like to sit back here with me? I have another stool that Eiry refuses to sit on." He gestured towards a stool that sat nearby on the grass with him. He wouldn't mind having her behind the booth with him. It wasn't like she would do anything, Isi was quite sure that she wouldn't be able to harm a fly if she really wanted to. At the next guess she offered towards his sibling, Isi let loose a wild chuckle, "Lazarus? No, that's Eiry's brother. My brother is Aphismet. I don't know if you've seen him around. He must be busy with the cook off. He's not my blood brother, mind you, he only recently adopted me."

"I'm positive," Isi said, giving her a nod of his head. "No one gets back here without my consent and I believe you just received it." He nodded his head again and shyly took a bite from the banana boat. Hey, it was good! Whoever did this...Probably Lazarus...Didn't do too bad of a job. Well...Isi inspected it and noted humorously that the banana and the bottom of the box were slightly blackened. Oh well, "Watch out for Eiry as you back here. If you go around this way, you won't run into him."

Isi winced and jumped in his chair as he watched Namini trip and fall over a box of shirts. He was opening his mouth to warn her of the hard-to-see obstacle, but he had failed to force the words from his throat. He simply chuckled and...Well he would've offered her a hand, but for an obvious reason, he didn't. "It's alright, Namini, no harm done."

Indeed, he was right.

Eiry, startled awake by the noise, found himself face to face with Namini. He blinked at her blearily, as if trying to comprehend why she was on the ground and...Well, which name fit to her face for that matter. With a slight yawn, Eiry rolled over on the grass and closed his blood red eyes. within moments he was back to sleep.

Isi screwed his mouth to a frown and watched her closely as she gave the finale of her apologetic lament. There was a time that he was like that, but it was so long ago, he couldn't remember when. Was it at the adoption agency? Yes, why, yes it was. But then he met Chloe...Then he had to grow up. He had to grow up to make her feel better, to make her stop crying. There was also a time where he regretted growing up. He didn't mind now. There was still a hidden child within him and he'd keep it in his heart and keep it safe. Shaking his head, he kept his stormy eyes on her, "What are you sorry for, Namini? You didn't do anything wrong. There's nothing to say sorry for. You tripped, so what? It's an accident. Accidents don't get apologies. Got it? Now come over here, sit down, and help me with this banana boat, it's huge...Lazarus sure has fun with the ice cream scooper..."
