Shammi stared up at Lenore with one eye, the other moving towards the shiny. Shiiiny~! What reason was there not to love the girl? Pretty hair AND shinies! When lenore started to speak, she stared up at her woth both eyes and smiled a toothless smile. She understood some of the words, but didn't understand others. She settled for a smiled. "Buhjwas."

"I like snow." Erishi commented, making another snowball. "It is white and fluffy and pretty and pure. And it is easy to make people strip in it. Snow down the pants, no more pants!"

Blinking one eye before the other, Shammi stopped drooling over the shiny and looked up at Lenore, a crafty look in her eyes. "Poke!" She said plainly, prodding Lenore in the chin with the feather. "Poke! Poke! Poke!"

Eeee. Poking was fun. <3

Hmmm. No big reaction on the poking thing. How odd. Carefully, this time at least, she reached up and ran the feather over Lenore's chin. "Coo coo?" She said, trying to tickle the big girl.

Sportive Area - Basketball Court

Rex pouted. All these stupid thing about not letting him play basketball just because of a simple cut on his foot was just too much. The boy huffed, and looked down at the bumpy orange sphere in his hands. Well, that's not gonna stop me.

Atta boy. They're just making a mountain out of a molehill. King slackened his jaw, giving any passerby(if there is even any just then) an impression that the large reptile was grinning gleefully.

Yeah. Silly people. The boy looked up at the backboard, then back at his bandaged foot, then back up again at the backboard, now focused on the hoop.

A snerk, and Rex lined up for a shot.

No!

Rexier's eyes widened as the ball left his hand. The boy knew the ball was not going to make it in, and he was proved right as it hit the side of the ring, bounced off the backboard and, miraculously, straight back at him.

The boy had only but a second to reached out his hand to the side to catch the ball before it flew pass him. Whew! Lucky. Looking around for the source of the cry, Rex sniffed, and felt something, or rather something, gave a tug on his tail.

"Rrrrr!" King's eyes flared. No touchy!

Hush, King. It's just a little baby. Rex drew the ball to his side and crouched down, wincing as his bandaged foot protested with a large dosage of pain. What the heck, it wasn't as painful yesterday!

"Hello, little one. It's alright, ignore the grumpy reptile."

"Hrrrmph"

Rex laughed, and smiled down on the pale baby before him, relaxing his tail and letting her play with it. He gave her a gentle pat on the head, before looking around for signs of her guardian. Strange, there was no one around.

Rex's eyes twinkled. Ah, here was another who liked basketball. He had, of course, mistaken Bergerac's baby talk for interest in the sport he had so very much loved. He held out the ball to her, then waved to the basket not too far away from where both of them were.

"Get the ball into the basket there, and you win. Wanna try?

Rex watched as the ball bounded some distance away, before hitting the backpole and stopped.

The boy noted that it was not the best of shots, but hey. Bergerac was just a baby. And his knees, they were higher than your average human's. Rex grinned down at the little mishap who seemed to be very proud of her throw, and gave her a wink and a thumbs up. "Very good."

Then he got up with a groan, face all wrinkled up and limped(he tried not to show it) towards the ball, picked it up and returned to where Bergerac was. He offered the ball to Bergerac again, and gave the area one quick glance before gathering her up in his arm. This he did gently, careful not to squash the little mishap.

Rex grunted - not that Bergerac was weighty, she was as light as a feather. He tried recalling the way Silencer had carried one of the young adoptees back in Criffelance, and hoped he imitated her properly. It would not do any good to have a guardian storming into his room, full of fury because he had mishandled his or her charge.

"Okay, uh..." Ah yes. He did not know her name. And she, him. "Late, intro, but I'm Rex. See him?" Rex tilted his head so Bergerac could see the dino behind him, "He's King. Careful with him though, he doesn't like people touching him."

King snorted and let out another growl, baring his teeth and glaring down at Bergerac as they approached the basketball and backboard. He huffed at her and tried being as unfriendly and intimidating as possible. What's the point of telling her all these? It's not like she can understand you.

Well, she's the only one I can talk to right now, isn't it? Rex laughed aloud suddenly as King turned away. Jealous little reptile. Rex shook his head, and returned his attention to Bergerac.

"Care to tell me your name?" he said, stopping in front of the basket, which was just a little taller than him.
