"Um, ah..." Stephanie's ears perked from side to side slightly, not sure how to answer. She wanted to say it was just the thunder, but....would that be lying? "I...uh...got woken up by one of Soul's quils poking me in the eye," She said, pointing to it as if to remember why she got up in the first place. "I was gonna go back to sleep but.....Soul was by himself and I uh....thought he might want company...." She paused for a second, scratching her ear a little. "B-But he decided to stay outside so I came back in! The lightning freaked me out..... dog senses I guess.... And then the blanket- crap the blanket!" It suddenly dawned on her that she had been standing at the door, letting the soaked cloth drip all over the floor. Frantically she gathered it up in her arms and side-stepped in confusion. "Shoot, I gotta find somewhere to let this thing dry....."
For a moment she stood, stomache pudged out slightly to try and keep water on herself instead of the floor, ears switching about debating what to do. "H-Hold on a second." She said with a nervous smile, before opening the door slightly and peaking out her head slightly. "Eh....um....is there anywhere you want me to put this?" The shy puppy opened the door a little wider to show the dripping blanket. "I imagine ringing in out is a good idea, I just....eh....didn't want to wander about your house without...y'know....permission."

Soul looked over. He looked slightly bemused. The brown hedgehog shrugged and looked back to the sky. "I let you sleep in my bed, I don't think I have much trouble with you moving about my house." He said, his voice soft. Stephenie had the door open, so he didn't want his voice to carry and wake the other residents of the complex. "When you head back in, remember to go silently and to step on the outsides of the stairs heading down, so as not to make them creak." He warned. "It's early still."

((Uh... the me of the story lives in a crappy one room apartment. He lives in the basement apartment, so the stairs down refer to the ones going down from the main lobby. As much as I would like to give myself a two floored apartment, it's not in the cards for a penniless hedgehog who has only lived six months in an alien world.))

Margy blinked as she sat there curiously, listening to her canine friend's reasons for why she was awake. "quu..." she questioned curiously. "But..margy thought Soul-kun was asleep outside of the door... how did Stephanie-chan get poked in the eye with quill?" she questioned as she pointed at her eye as she spoke. The confused--and sleepy--hamster tilted her head to the side as she stared at her friend, before watching her as she began to wander about the room with the wet blanket, before moving over towards the door and talking to someone--most likely Soul, since he seemed like the only person that would be out there. "...Was Stephanie-chan and Soul-kun sleeping together?" she asked rather bluntly. She had said it so simply but she hadn't thought that all about how...awkward of a comment that was.

((Oh, nevermind. I guess Margy kinda helped be back into the flow of things. And I mus say....WTFRICKAKWARDPLZ. XDD ))
"Oh o-ok, thanks." Stephanie gave a nod before closing the door silently and turning back to Margy, who was confused about her getting a quil into her eye. She lifted her finger and began to speak when she heard Margy's question, and both her finger, ears, and expression dropped. Suddenly the dog seemed to go into a frenzy of hand wavings, mouth agape, her entire face red as can be.
"Wh...WHAT!? Nonononono, i-it was nothing like that! I-I-I don't really- ah!" She gave a small squeak as she dropped the sopping wet blanket onto the ground, and hurridly picked it up again. In that time she was able to try and gather her thoughts and seemed to remember Soul's warning of staying quiet. "Oops...." Her paw came over her mouth for a moment, before she placed it onto her key and let out a sigh to try and contain her confusion and embaracment. "Whew.....Ok. I was sleeping over there, his quill was in the pillow, I woke up, talked to him, then came back here." She indicated by pointing to the bed, the door, then back to where she was standing. "The-there was was no sleeping together of any kind." Her hands waved about to try and stress the point of her workds. "I didn't even get to talk to him much. Ok? Ok? Ok." With that Stephanie gave a small bow and then scooted herself as quickly as possible into the bathroom.

The half asleep, and confused hamster sat there silent as she watched her friend freak out. Staring at her for a bit longer, she tilted her head to the side as she watched her flail her arms up and down as she attempted to explain how she got in the eye by one of Super's quills. "Quu....?" she asked in confusion once Stephanie had backed up and dashed out of the room with the wet blanket. "....Margy is confused..." she stated simply. Staring down at the trail of water that the blanket was leaving, she leapt from the couch and quickly began to follow after her friend. Curious about where she was going. "???" Margy blinked once again as found herself staring at the bathroom door. "Ooh... Stephanie-chan had to go potty." she said bluntly once again. Staring for a bit longer, she turned and began to walk back towards the couch. "Stephanie-chan is funny--but strange."

"Well thanks." Stephanie half-whispered, sticking her head out of the bathroom, face practically florecant, before retreating back in and closing the door.
Her arms were shaking as she wrung out the damp material, her pawed hands fumbling clumsily, carelessly letting her arms become drenched with water - defeating the whole perpose of having the blanket on her in the first place. Continuously she flipped the blanket out, dried it, flipped it over again, dried it, and then unfolded it and began to flail it about in an attempt to get any extra droplettes off. It was almost as if she thought by getting the water off, her mind too would be able to get rid of Margy's statement. Blanket dried. Still flustered.
Frustraited with her fruitless efforts, she opened the shower curtain and threw the blanket onto it, making a few uncaring efforts to make sure it didn't fall off, and then turned to the mirror. She gave a small gasp as she looked at her face, and placed her paws over them as if to try and make it go away, but this only made her complexion worse. Perplexed and a bit distressed, she scratched her head and tried to ponder what to do next, but the attempt to focus just seemed to empty her mind worse. Throwing her hands up into the air, she stomped out of the bathroom and headed for the bed. Realizing she may look angry with Margy, she tried to soften her expression, which for some reason seemed to make her blush a little less intense, though still visable.

Margy, who seemed to be completely oblivious to the the fact that Stephanie might have even looked a slight bit angry, peered over the top of the couch as she stared at her canine friend. Her round pink ears seemed to swivel about, following the sound of her friend's footsteps as she headed back towards her room. "yoouurrr welllcoommee." Margy pretty much sang out, most likely replying to Stephanie's 'well thanks' comment. Her sensitive hears seemed to have picked it up--even though she whispered. She gave a bit of a grin afterward, and flopped over on the couch once again. "Oh foo." she said a second later. She knew that once she had been awake this long, that falling asleep was something was would not happen easily. Sitting there silently, she began to ponder about what she could do. Staring in the direction of Stephanie's room--which was actually soul's room, the--slightly insane--hamster crawled over the couch and dropped to the floor. Crouching down, she slowly began to creep along the floor towards Stephanie's room...planning a sneak attack. Margy sneak attack 101...begins now... the crazy hamster thought to herself as she crept closer. Whatever she was planning--only she knew.

((Lol, Soul's room is the whole room. Except the bathroom XDD ))
Stephanie stood, about to greet Margy, when she noticed that the couch was totally empty. Perplexed, she began to look about the room, shifting things about. She wasn't a cat or anything, but could hamsters fit into small spaces too? Finally her gaze came to the back of the couch, which she decided to stick her upper body behind and have a look.
"Margy?" She called softly, her tail going back and forth perplexingly as she bent herself further. ((Deja-vu! XD ))

Crouched down the floor, hidden by the shadow of the couch was the slighty insane Margy. Staring up at Stephanie silently, she backed up a bit as Stephanie leaned in further, as if thinking about if she really deliver the attack or not. If she didn't, Stephanie-chan would surely find her and her attack would end in failure. But if she did...she might accidentally wake everyone up--seeing how earlier it was. Take the chance or be discovered....? Margy thought to herself as she continued to stare for a bit longer. Take the risk!!! The hamster gave a bit of a nod as she finally came to her decision, not thinking about the fact that she may have given her position away if Stephanie noticed the movement. Out of all of them, Margy seemed to the be the most oblivious to the fact that the world could be dangerous or anything close to that, she was just going about life as if it was normal for her to be a hamster...hamster or human, she always seemed to think that way. Laying there silently, the crazy hamster fidgeted a bit as she struggled to stay still any longer. She couldn't take it anymore, she had to... "ATTACK!!!" Margy pretty much yelled out, as she launched herself forward, arms out in front of her as she slammed into Stephanie, her hands meeting her friends shoulders as she leapt forward--knocking the most likely very surprised canine on her back--and making quite a lot of noise in the process. Of course--the fact that she was making noise was the last thing on Margy's mind at the time...

Soul bolted upright. "Mwa-huh?" He muttered. He heard someone say something loudly. Checking the time down the street at a glowing clock tower, he saw it was still in the Early AM's. Jumping upright, he headed inside to see the commotion. As he entered, he saw two tenants peeking out thier doors and one met him at the stairs. He waved them to return to their room.
"What is it Soul?" the old woman asked. "I heard someone yell an attack...?" She said. The old woman looked frightened to the bone. Soul sighed, he couldn't blame her. An icy cold chill started to seep into his blood.
Looking at the the tenants, he decided he'd tell them his limited knowledge on the subject. "There was some creature on the news earlier that attacked near town hall. I'm thinking someone paranoid themselves into thinking they saw it. Just return to your rooms and turn your TV's on for any special reports. I'll raise the alarm if it's anything dire." He explained. Soul was quick on his feet, and had a tongue that benefited him greatly. One of the tenants agreed with his statement and closed the door. A Blue light emanated from under it. Soul turned to the woman on the stairs. "You too, Mrs. Patterson. Don't worry about a thing."
"Soul, I do believe that's my job your doing..." A third voice said. A squirrel by the name of Marilyn walked out of the second cracked door. She seemed a little peeved, but it was obvious she was on edge. "I'm the super in this building, I should check it out..." She took one step down the stairs, and looked at Soul hard. "Unless you really think you can handle it."
There it was. Marilyn was as scared as the rest of them. Soul gave one of his salutes to tell her he'd handle it. "Sounded like it came from my apartment anyway. I have relatives over, and one has a history of fits in the night. She may have had a bad dream and saw something like the monster on TV. In any case, I'll handle it." He said. He had spoken too quickly, but he covered his tracks as best as possible. Marilyn didn't say anything for a second, and then retreated to her room. Mrs. Patterson had already left up the stairs. Soul inhaled deeply, and headed down into his apartment.

Stephanie groaned as she felt herself floating upside down....her eyes scanned the area in confusion, all she could see was black. There were odd patters in front of her, her arm wasn't able to move and her legs were twisting inchoherently. Suddenly she remembered what had happened. Margy.......
"Margyyyyyy!! What the heck!?!" The pup yelled, half laughing, as she flailed her legs around. The hamster's sneak attack had frightened the poor Lab that she had jumped forward and was now wedged between the wall and the couch. Her arm was pinned behind her so there was no hope of trying to push herself up, and only the tips of her feet could be seen wiggling in vain to try and get herself out. The more her efforts seemed to fail, the more she seemed to laugh at the ridiculousness of her situation. She couldn't breathe for a moment, so attempted to twist herself out, which caused her to fall further down the back and for both arms to be twisted uncomfortably around her body.
"Ok, I'm stuck. Help?"
