"I..." Haku started. "I don't want to just sit around and do nothing... I want to explore more of the house, Zabuza-san..." He then gave a slight yawn, covering it with one hand, while the other held the ice on his ankle. He looked over to where the Momochi was drinking, blinking a bit. "Zabuza-san.... you don't usually drink unless something's wrong..." he remarked.

"We're trapped in a place we can't get out of for some unknown reason and I'm very pissed off about it. Now you've gone and hurt yourself." Zabuza finished his second glass and poured a third. The sake was strong and he already had once hell of a buzz from it. "I need...to kill something." he muttered into his cup.

Haku frowned and looked down again, letting out a small sigh. "I'm sorry, Zabuza-san..." he mumbled, pressing the ice down on his ankle some more, as if it would help it heal faster. "Didn't we pass by a training room, at some point in time? I could sit against the wall, while you worked on things...." he suggested.

Zabuza pushed the half empty bottle away along with the empty cup and stood. "That will have to do until we can get out of here." He moved over and once again scooped Haku up into his arms, finding that it was something he didn't hate. "Is there anything from here or your room you need first?"

Once again, Haku's cheeks warmed. He shook his head, holding the towel of ice to his chest, for now, until he was settled to where he could set it on his ankle, again. "No, Zabuza-san." he murmured, in case the male didn't see his head gesture. When I was little, I used to watch you while you let me take small breaks from training... why not now? he thought.

He left the kitchen, Haku held securely in his arms, as he headed down the hall the the training room was in. When they got inside he was happy to see that there was a bench that Haku could sit on, so carried him over and set him down on it. He grabbed a cushion and set it next to him so he could elevate his leg. "I should have checked to see if they had bandages in the first aid kit." he muttered to himself, then thought of something. He unwound the bandages that pretty much always covered his face, then knelt down beside the bench. He gently lifted Hakus leg and began bounding his ankle, trying not to be rougher than necessary.

((It's pretty sad when you have to get Zabuza-san drunk to have him start doing nice things >> ))
Haku's breath caught lightly as he watched Zabuza bind his ankle, the warmth in his cheeks from being carried growing to a slightly visible tinge on his cheeks. He let the older male finish with his ankle, then gently rested the ice on it, looking up to the Momochi. His eyes subconsciously traced the now-visible lips, and then he quickly looked away, blushing a little more as he tried to figure out why he was even blushing in the first place.

((He's the demon of the mist, remember?))
With that done, Zabuza stood again and went over to see what they had for practice equipment. He found a rather large dummy and dragged it to the center of the mat in the middle of the room, then went back and grabbed a wooden sword used in kendo. This thing is for childs play. he thought as he swung the significantly lighter sword around. Then with a single swing, he chopped the dummy right in half, his strength being the cause more than the piece of wood he held. This would be better if I had someone to practice with, but since that kid, I haven't seen anyone else. he tossed the broken sword to the side, then went and got another.

((Yeah, but, if Naruto can get him to cry, i'm sure it wouldnt be too hard, if you made him realize some things >> ))
Haku's thoughts were returned to wherever they were as he started watching Zabuza. Watching the man beat on the inanimate objects in the room made him almost feel sorry for him... for most of life, it was real people he was used to beating on... not some dummy that didn't even have a head. And the swords they had... they didn't even compare to the Momochi's!

((True. And what sword are you talking about, Haku? xd ))
As Zabuza worked, he began to sweat, droplets of it rolling down his bare chest and face. He tossed yet another broken sword to the side and went in search of something more durable. Not finding anything that would last more than one or two hits, he decided to give up. He'd worked off a bit of his anger and the sake he'd had, but he still wanted more. He growled and slammed his fist into the metal locker, leaving a huge dent, then turned and went back over to Haku. "Let's go, I need a shower."

(( XD The one that makes up for the lack of size of the other..? ))
"O-Okay, Zabuza-san..." Haku mumbled, shifting so he'd be easier to pick up. He still had a faint blush on his cheeks, as he couldn't help but stare at Zabuza's chest while he worked out a bit. There was something about the sweat glistening down the rippling muscles... Shaking his head slightly, the teen began to feel his face heat up again.

((hehe, Zabuza makes Haku blush like Hinata 4laugh ))
He scooped the boy up and hurried back to his room, wanting to get Haku somewhere more comfortable. When he got back to his room, he put Haku on the bed, thinking it'd be easier for him to keep his leg up than in a chair. "Go ahead and make yourself comfortable. When I'm finished with my shower, I'll take you back to your own room." he turned and went into the bathroom and got the water going. He shut the door down, leaving it open a crack, then stripped out of his boots, pants, and boxers, then climbed in under the water. I wonder what he's been thinking about all day? He's been acting strange since reading those books...

Haku pressed his two index fingers together, momentarily, before watching Zabuza disappear into the bathroom for a shower. He could feel a nosebleed coming along again at some of the thoughts entering his head, but he pushed them away, letting out a low sigh. He then gave another yawn, this time not hiding it. His pet hopped up onto the bed by use of a trunk at the foot, and moved to rest by his side. He left the ice to just sit on his ankle, having been using some of his chakra to keep it from melting.
Staring up at the mural on Zabuza's ceiling, Haku's eyes drifted closed, and he soon fell asleep, head tipping to the side a little as his hands crossed over his chest.

Zabuza came out of the shower ten minuets later with a towel wrapped around his waist. He saw that Haku had fallen asleep and gave a small and quick smile before going over and poking around in the closet. He removed the towel and hug it off the closet handle, then found a clean pair of boxers and pulled them on. He really is so pure and innocent. Surprising he's still like that after being around someone like me all these years. he thought as he looked at Hakus sleeping face. Not wanting to wake him, Zabuza went over and got comfortable in one of the large chairs in the room and shut his eyes.

Haku was asleep only for around 10 minutes after Zabuza got out of the shower. When he woke up, his eyes opened, and then, after not hearing the shower anymore, looked over to the Momochi. A small smile graced his lips at how peaceful the Demon of the Hidden Mist looked. He never could quite understand why people were so afraid of him... Yeah, he was a bit harsh at times, often seeming quite cold-hearted, but... The teen was able to see through some of that, and could understand Zabuza entirely.
