Rei's body was already turning cold as her lifesblood poured out of her.She looked up to bakura a weak smile on her face "I....love you...bakura...." she said before her eyes sliped close.

Bakura's voice dropped down to a whisper as he moved his head closer to Rei's. "I love you too." He oblivious to Atem as he shouted a little bit at Seto for whatever he had suggested, and his head slowly lifted. "There's nothing we can do, you said... But what about other people?"
The pharaoh glanced from Seto to Bakura. "What do you mean? By the time we even got her anywhere, it'd be too late. I doubt anybody could help..."
"No, not anybody here in Egypt... What about Japan?" Bakura looked at the pharaoh with the slightet hint of hope in his eyes. "I'm pretty sure it was you and your priests that somehow, accidentally, brought Rei here. Use your items and send her back."
The pharaoh frowned slightly. "I'm sure we could, but... There might be a risk. Opening portals like that isn't a good idea. And you haven't really been the most helpful person I've known. Why should we help you, honestly?"
Bakura was silent, his eyes downcast. He couldn't come up with a single reason as to why the pharaoh should help him. "I'll make a deal. You help Rei, or even try to help her-- doesn't matter if you suceed or not-- and you can have me. I'll willingly be chained up and taken to the palace to be tortured or whatever for my sins. Or you can just kill me on the spot right now. Just try to help Rei."

As rei's eyes closed all the way her head droped down and her body went limp.He could hear her gurggle as she tried to breathe.Her body had turned cold and both bakura and herself was covered in blood.

The pharaoh agreed, softened by this sight. He went over to his priests, who had gotten off of their horses, and then after searching the powers of their items, then all crowded together and tried to work together to make it work. Bakura stayed by Rei. "Don't forget about me, please." He whispered, giving her one last lingering kiss before moving away as the pharaoh requested. The Millennium Items glew blindingly, and then Rei was gone. Seto was the first to react, and started barking orders, telling the guards to chain Bakura up.
[Should we have her show up in a bakery owned by the modern-world Akila?]

Out of nowere rei appered in the middle of the floor of a bakery.She was very pale and she was gushing out blood.

A motherly-looking woman had been crossing the floor to sweep, and jumped in alarm when a girl suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Oh my!" She cried, seeing the blood. Bending over, the removed a dirty looking red coat from the girl's middle (she got Bakura's coat ^^) and saw the deep wound. "Oh my god!" The woman rushed, as quickly as a woman as large as she was could, to the phone behind the counter, quickly dialing 911.

Soon the peromedics arived abd she was rushed off to the hospital.

The woman, wanting to find out more about this girl, already growing a spot for her in her heart, wrung out the blood from the red coat that had been left and closed her bakery. She then got into her car and went down to the hospital to wait and see if she could see the girl when she was patched up. Besides, she needed to give this coat, as filthy and dirty as it was, back to her.

After an hour a doctor came to get the women telling her the girl was doing ok and sleeping peasfully.

"Oh good." The woman stood, clutching the red coat to her chest. "Is it okay if I see her, or is it family only?"

"Oh, okay." The woman got Rei's room number and went there, sitting down on one of the plastic chairs. She shook out the crumpled coat, wishing she had stopped to wash it before coming.

"Oh, you're awake." The woman said cheerfully, quickly standing up. Her features were exactly like Akila's, except her hair color was a light brown, not black, and her skin was pale. "You're in the hospital, dearie. I found you on the ground of my bakery, without any warning! You were bleeding all over the place as well." She held up the coat, speaking rapidly. "This was draped on you, and it was awfully bloodied. Since it's red already, the stains might not show, but maybe it'd be best if you just threw it out. I would have, but since it was yours I would have felt wrong in doing so."

Her eyes widen asshe saw bakura cot and she shakly reached out for it "no.." she said still weak from everything.
