Shikamaru looked at Shino with a raised brow, then looked forward again. He sure is a strange guy. "There's a stand just up ahead that I want to stop and and get a drink. This weather makes me all hot and thirsty. We're going to have to put up with it for awhile too." he gave a sigh and a slight shake of his head.

Shino followed Shikamaru as they walked up to the stand. It is hot. Shino tought. But not just because it's hot in Suna. "I'll have lemonade," Shino said to the stand manager. He was getting all sweaty and decided to take off his jacket. He was wearing a pratically transparet white muscle shirt.

Shikamaru ordered the same and took a nice long gulp of it when he got it. He had seen Shino take off his jacket from the corner of his eye and didn't pay it any mind. That was until he faced him fully, then did a double take. Damn, he makes me look all...girly! Shikamaru thought, not expecting the Aburame to be as well muscled as he was. "I've noticed that most of the locals all wear outfits that cover most of their body. I wonder how they survive this heat?"

"Born to it I guess," Shino shrugged and drank his lemonade slowly and not noticing Shikamaru's double take about his bod. "I don't really want to carry this..." He said looking at his jacket. he made a handsign and his jacket poofed back to his apartment. "Or it may be because of the sand. That stuff can get everywhere."

"Tell me about it." he muttered under his breath. I don't know how sand can get in those places, I haven't been rolling in it or anything! "Hey, you should teach me that jutsu. It could come in handy for getting back to my room quickly." When he finished his lemon aid, Shikamaru began sucking on the ice cubes to help try and cool himself off.

"Sure, but it's just Kakashi's jutsu. Naruto has complained about how he uses it all the time when he's late," Shino said and laughed. He finished his lemonade and was tempted to get some water to cool of with. But then he would be covered in sand.

((I live in the middle of a desert, and I enjoy wearing my trench coat, AND all black, in the middle of summer (100-110 degree F weather) you gotta be born with it x3 ))

((Yes. Yes you do. Living on the prairies ensures sickeningly hot summers, yet I walk around in polar fleece sweaters. It scares my mom some days. xD))

Itachi glared back at him as he saw that he was laughing at his finger, "Hmph.." He grunted and turned away from him. Blinking, he turned to look at him again when he heard that he was coughing. Taking his uninjured hand, the Uchiha then slammed it down onto his back sorta kinda hard in attempt to knock the jerky from out of his mouth.

"Oh, all the Jounins and most Chuuins can do that one I think. I just haven't bothered to learn it yet." Shikamaru said and gave a shrug. "I have an idea, why don't we go swimming? I think there's a small pool around here."

((Rule: Never laugh at an Uchiha when said Uchiha has done something stupid. Some force will bring mishap into your life, if the Uchiha doesn't themselves.))
Deidara gave one final cough after Itachi's attempt to help, and the jerky fell into his hands. The blond gave a bit of a groan and slumped slightly where he still sat on the Uchiha, panting lightly. Looking at the jerky in his hands, he quickly tossed it over, and into the trash can, still breathing a little heavy. I thought I was gonna suffocate, or something... he thought, looking down to Itachi. "Thanks, un..." he mumbled, his voice sounding a little hoarse.

Shino cocked his head to one side (a bit of a habit when I roleplay as him) and then answered, "Sure why not." He threw away his empty lamonade cup and waited for Shikamaru to lead the way.

Shikamaru looked around to get his bearings before heading down the street. I think I saw it around here somewhere. he thought as he scanned the buildings. "There it is, in there." He said and pointed to a bath house. "I think they have a small pool in there that we can use." It turned out that there was in fact a pool there and it was the same size as one of the baths. Shikamaru gave the woman at the front desk some money before heading into the males changing room. "She said that it's empty right now so we won't have to put up with anyone bothering us." He stripped out of all his clothes except his boxers and shoved them into a locker. They did have complementary swim suits, but they were no more than a thong and he certainly wasn't going to wear one of those.

Shino followed him throughout the whole process and when he saw the thongs an image of Shikamaru wearing one flashed through his mind. He felt a nosebleed starting to form,but he tried to get a hold of himself. Why am I so horny today?! Trying to banish that image from his mind, Shino mimicked Shikarmaru and stripped to his boxers. After he hung all his clothes on the hooks, he went into the pool room and couldn't reisit jumping in.

Shikamaru chuckled a bit at seeing the Aburame jump into the pool like a little kid. "Hey Shino, why don't you have fun like this back home in Konoha? I think people would be surprised to see you...happy." He didn't jump in like Shino had, instead he chose to just sit on the edge and dangle his legs into the cold water.
