Vanessa turned away frowning. A hot tear made it's way down her pale cheek and made a mark in the sand. As she watched the three grab Violet's hand and comfort her, she realized that nobody would even think of coming that close to her. "I was just trying to be nice to everybody, and she is the one that ends up with the friends..." Vanessa quietly whispered to herself. As she bent over the sand, another tear fell to the ground and made it's mark in the dry sand.

Violet looked up, a calculating look on her face. Removing her hands from the others she walked forward and stood in front of Vanessa.
"I can feel your sadness over there, care to tell me whats wrong?" she asked, her grin gaining a bit more of her usual smirk. Before the girl could say anything she added,
"You can tell me, you heard me before, i can't do much now,"

"You're the one who was most annoying to start..." Vanessa started. "I was just trying to make friends. Now you come along and get all mushy and get all the friends while I'm over here with a freaky fat dude in the water." She mumbled, another tear sliding down her cheek.

"Vanessa...we're all your friends. Just because we're helping Violet with her problem doesn't mean we stop liking you, you big silly." Leila made her way over, pulling Haucon over by the arm, since he couldn't see, and took a seat beside her on the sand. She placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and rubbed it a bit. "There's no need to cry. Come on, cheer up." Leila had a weak smile on her face, hoping it would cheer her up.

Violet pulled a pretend shocked face.
"Me..annoying?...never," she replied, then tapped Vanessa's nose as if she were a child.
"I can't help get a little stressed sometimes, when i'm calm i don't think i'm so bad...." she added softly. Watching what Leila was doing for a moment she awkwardly tried to copy her. Violet patted the girl on the other should stiffly, not sure if she was doing it correctly.

He smiled. It was definately an improvement. And it made his job a lot easier.

He walked around the group of them, choosing not to take part in the emotional exchange. Instead, he sat down in front of them. "This is a great improvement for all of us. Now we better know each other, and that means we can better stick up for each other, and be happier together. At least, I guess that's true." He shrugged, and lay down on the sand, relaxing.

Violet looked over to Dream, her grinning face soft. She too lay back in the sand, her wings having to stick out at odd angles to let her lie flat. Looking around her she sighed,
"Never thought i'd be doing this when i left this morning," she muttered to herself.

"Most of usnever thought a lot of things would happen..." Leila smiled herself, hoping Haucon got the meaning of what she was saying. The day had started out catastrophous and with confusion, but now everything had seemed to settle nicely. "We should at least find somewhere to spend the night," she whispered to the others. Staying here by the beach, looking up at the sky would suit her just fine, but she didn't think Vanessa would appreciate getting her mother's dress covered in so much sand.

Leaning up on her elbows Violet nodded.
"Theres an empty house in the city we could use," she told her, a smirk on her face.
"It was vacted this morning by a large, well off family. Everything should still be there," she added, convienantly forgetting to mention she was the one who mainly helped to empty it.

"Thanks, guys." Vanessa said with a smile. She reached her hand up to brush the salty tears away. "I think I have an idea about where we can spend the night. Follow me." Vanessa said. She stood up and quickly walked over to where the road began. Then, she looked up. "It's going to rain again. We better hurrt." With that, she began trotting down the road until she came upon a dark alleyway. There, she stood and waited for the others to catch up.

Dream would have liked to sleep right under the stars, he did that a lot. But, he would much rather his newfound companions be happy. Plus, it wasn't like he disliked sleeping indoors. Just that he preferred the outside.

He caught up with Vannessa fairly easily. "You know the way? I thought that Violet would lead us." He shrugged. "Well, whatever works, I guess."

(OOC: Just a suggestion, preview your post right before you post it. It allows you to see that your post won't conflict with one that wasn't there previously. Not blaming anyone, just saying you might want to try it.)

"Oh, I guess we can go where Violet suggested." Vanessa said with a shrug. "The place I was thinking of is pertty bad anyway. The food's always moldy." Vanessa said, making a face.

Leila made a wretching face, more for amusement than actually being sick. She didn't really need to anyway, since she had become a demon. "I wonder how big this place is...?"

"As long as you guys are comfortable with it, I don't mind." He realized that there was only one other "guy" with them, and that the rest were female. But they didn't seem like the type who would really care at all, or even notice.

He looked up at the sky, it did in fact seem like it would rain soon. He placed a simple barrier of air around him as a basic protection, as he didn't really feel like getting wet and it took almost no energy to maintain the barrier.
