Kikyo Soshi had taken a little off from training. It just wasn't the same on her own as it was when she had the ones she loved near her, encouraging her. She felt a slight bit of depression on her own. She decided instead of physical training, she'd do some musical training. She went to her room, picked up her old guitar, playing some of the notes to get the hang of it again. She practiced the notes for several hours before deciding her room was too cramped. She tried some of the other rooms only to find herself disappointed and slightly annoyed. She decided she'd leave the house. That's what she truely needed. She picked up a book of songs in it and stuffed it into the case with her guitar and left the house swiftly. She ran into the forest and arrived to the river her and Kekkaishi had first met. She climbed up a tree rather than use air walk and sat on a branch that seemed steady. Carefully, she removed the instrament and the book and flipped thorugh the pages. She found one song that she seemed to like and looked over the notes. She practiced just doing the music itself first. After she was certain everything sounded alright, she playedone more time, just the music. She sighed and read the words over a couple of times and smiled when she had learned them. She cleared her throat and looked around, making sure no one was around. She blushed, still nervous about any one knowing how musical she was. She cleared her throat one more time before taking a nervous breath. She let it out slowly and then looked up. She started playing while singing the words with an angelic voice. "How can I decide what’s right, when you’re clouding up my mind? I can’t win your losing fight all the time. Not gonna ever own what’s mine, when you’re always taking sides. But you won’t take away my pride. No, not this time. Not this time. How did we get here, when I used to know you so well? But, how did we get here? Well, I think I know how. The truth is hiding in your eyes, and it’s hanging on your tongue. Just boiling in my blood. But you think that I can’t see what kind of man that you are; if you’re a man at all. Well, I will figure this one out on my own. I’m screaming, 'I love you so.' On my own. My thoughts you can’t decode. How did we get here, when I used to know you so well? Yeah. How did we get here? Well, I think I know how. Do you see what we’ve done? We’ve gone and made such fools of ourselves. Do you see what we’ve done? We’ve gone and made such fools of ourselves. How did we get here, when I used to know you so well? Yeah, yeah, yeah! Well, How did we get here when I used to know you so well. I think I know... I think I know... There is something I see in you. It might kill me. I want it to be true." She closed her eyes after finishing and blushed. She had never even sung in front of Kekkaishi Soshi, and she felt so embarrassed. Se wasn't sure why she was so embarrassed, she just was. Maybe this was part of her mother's sweet, shy nature that showed in her ever so rarely. She thought back to her mother and how beautifully she used to sing when she tucked her and Sayuri to bed at night. She smiled ever so faintly under her mask, but it was a sad smile. Thinking of he mom Oomizu always made her emotional; another of the few traits she got from her mother besides her part albinoness. She chuckled a little, remembering her mother's little joke explaining why it was her skin was so sale despite being out in the sun all day in Konaha. Her skin had been as white, pure, and smooth as the newly fallen snow, and now it had the coldness to match. Kikyo shivered after thinking that. She really was in a morbid mood today. She couldn't really undestand why that was. Maybe this was how it was back before she had met Kekkaishi? He always did make her smile. He just had that kind of personality. Just like his father. No, his father was almost as sad as Kikyo. He almost always seemed upset at something or another, but it wasn't the same upset Kikyo had. The head Soshi had a mourning sort of sad where as Kikyo was almost always PMSing kind of sad. Oh the difference between main and side branches of the clan. Surprisingly though, despite the difference in their sadness, it was basically caused by the same thing; death. The head clan member was almost always the one to get missions that required killing some one. He always felt guilt from killing people on his missions, mourning for them in case no one else would. He was a good man. She could tell just from the few times she'd actually spoken to him and all the times Kekkaishi spoke of his father. But hers was different. It was the loneliness left over after some one you know dies. She didn't have anyone directly related to her any more, and the people of the clan (besides Kekkaishi) ignored her as a member of the clan. It was that loneliness that fueled her anger and hidden sadness. She acted the way she wanted as almost a way of begging for some one to say "I know you're alive and I know who you are. You're you." She sighed. Losing a mother was tough, but learning that that same day she lost her identical twin, it was almost like half of herself had died. Both Kikyo and Sayuri made a whole person together. But that wasn't true any longer. And her father was all she had had left. Now she couldn't say that as being true any more. They had been best friends since they had been left each other, alone in the world with out 2 people they had known and loved. And now Dairiki was gona as well. She stod up and packed the guitar and the booklet away and headed home. After dropping her belongings away, she dressed in all black and went to the cemitary to pay respect, understanding now why she was so miserable. It was the anniversery of their deathes. No wonder she just wanted to crawl under a rock today. She stopped by the edge of the forest on her way to visit the 3 graves and picked a couple a flowers for each grave. She got to the gate of the cemitary and sighed, not really wanting to go in. She hated being around al this... death. Not that she wasn't afraid. Actually, she normally enjoyed being in cemitaries. They were peaceful and you could think clearly. Plus, since many were afraid to go near because of superstitious beleifs, there weren't ever any people around, so she could always be herself. It was just this one cemitary she didn't like. It was because this was where her family was, leaving her all alone. That's why she hated being here. It was the sense of extreme aloneness that she got only here. Kikyo slowly pushed the gates opened and went in, quickly closing it behind her. She walked quickly to the three graves she was looking for and looked around, glad no one was there. She took her mask off and kneeled in front of the graves, saying some prayers and setting the flowers down so she could clean the graves up some. She then placed the flowers where they belonged. She smiled sadly and bowwed a little. "Hi guys. I'm back..." ((Elemental in Fuse: Complete!))

Kikyo Soshi did her usual routin of telling her family all that happened to her in the year she had not come t visit their graves after making sure they were spotless. She told them everything from the littlest, most unimportant things to the most important things, such as her becomming a ninja and most of her time with Kekkaishi. She even mentioned stealing from the main house, which she appologized for, and about the wedding she had attended, which she didn't really remember all that well. She knew that her famly's spirits had probably been watching her, so they may already know all this, but it was nice to have some one to talk to. It felt almost as though she were admitting her sins to a preist. She sighed after her long talk with them, surprised that no one had come in all day. Maybe everyone knew what day it was and thought it was best to avoid this place. She preferred it that way though, but the time she'd been spending alone was driving her nuts. She'd have to go out of the village soon so that way she didn't lose her mind more than she already had. She needed to talk to real people. She could keep her training going, but she needed the interaction of other beings. She finished with her stories to her family and bowwed to them one last time. "Please excuse me, but I must go now. I need to go now. If I don't, then I will not have time to write to Kekkaishi. I love you all. Rest in peace. I'll be back same time next year." She stood up and placed her mask back into place. Kikyo turned and walked out of the cemetary and headed home. She got paper and a pen and went to the forest. She went to the tree with her, her father's, and Kekkashi's names carved into the trunk and updated the fights that had been won. She smiled and sat with her back against the tree and started writting. 'Kaishi, I know I haven't done what I told you I would, but I was starting to lose my mind with all the loneliness. I promised I would stay until I finish all of the Soshi clan's training, but I needed to get out. I think 'll head to Hidden Grass Village. After all, you know how I kind of respect Zetsu. I want to see where he comes from so that I may be able to learn of other villages' ways. After all, it's important to make allies, right? If I meet any one of interest then I'll definately tell you as soon as possibly. But, of course, with your slow speed speed, I'm sure I'll probably beat you back and that'll mean I'll have wasted paper for nothing, causing the death of yet another innocent tree. (Laughing at you a little bit right now.) Well, if by chance you did beat me back home, then you know where I am. I'm glad you aren't mad at me if you have come home. I I love you. I'll try to see you as soon as possible. Try not to get into any arguements with any one while yur home. Your dad will probably want you to say hi so that he has some peace of mind knowing that the rumor that I killed you is a lie. And yes, that's what everyone thinks since I came back with out you. Don't worry, I've already gotten them to stop spreading that more than it already has been. Although, I think that's still spreading behind my back. Evil scheming monkeys. Can't be trusted. What ever. I give up on them for now. By the way, you've got a lot of hard work to do if you're to try and catch up to me. After all, I know all but one of our clan's moves. So take that! Do work hard. I want you to be able to do good in the chuunin exams when they come up. Ater all, last time I didn't do them, but that was mostly because I didn't want to do the exams alone. I want to do tem with you. I'd be too scared to do them alone. I mss you like crazy if the length of my letter to you isn't a big enough indecation yet. (laughing a little. God I'm pathtic and needy. If only the villagers saw that in me. Maybe then they'd beleive Im a human being.) Well, if your here, then you aren't mad, so please don't be mad that I've been training behind your back and left with out you. Please meeting me at the Hidden Grass if you can. It'd be fun if we could meet there and see the place together. Take care, sleep when you're tired, eat when you're hungery, and don't cheat on me with any other girls. If you do not do the last part, at least make sure you don't catch anything. Then that'd be two of us who have to visit the doctor a lot (but for obviously different reasons). Speaking of which, yes, I did go see the doctor. Just in case. I still need my meds (which sucks like hell), but they said that I'm almost all better. Who knows, maybe that meas that soon I'll be able to get off of the medicines all together and be able to call myself healthy again. Let's just cross our fingers for that. That'd be great to not have to worry you any more about my health while you neglect your own. Oh! Just so you know Crap! Forgot where I was going with that. Oh, wait! Now I remember. The light cross scroll. Yeah, I borrowed it. I haven't returned it to your room like I said I would, but I hid it in the hole in this tree so that way it would be safe. After all, who would think to come out here and look in a tree to find a scroll with our clan's attacks. And you really should find a better place to hide your stuff. But if you need a place I know a good one, but you'd have to make sure I know you're hiding stuf in there since it's in a place that I don't want people messing with. Who would have guessed that this was the place my dad hid all that crap he didn't want me messing with or breaking! I barely thought of it before I checked since I searched the whole damn house. You'll probably anjoy the hiding place when you see it. It's really clever. The kind of thing you'd expect from my dad Dairiki. That clever old man. Oh, and I guess you could tell your dad hi for me and please ask him to forgive me. When I borrowed your scroll, I sort of broke into yourt house by making a hole in the window. You may want to have that fixed before a big storm comes and floods your room. It'd suck if I caused mold to form in your room because I borrowed with out permission. Well, better end this letter soonish. It's almost completely filled the paper by now (which for me is a first time). I'll do my best not to make an idiot of myself more than I already have. I miss you tons. And don't worry, the next time I see you I'll glomp you so hard that we'll probably leave a dent in the ground or crash through a roof. (laughing since I know you'll probably be watching your back from this moment on.) Don't get yourself killed and see if you can find me before I have to move on again. See you soonish, I hope. Love you.
-Love, Kikyo 'She sealed the letter into an envelope and took a kunai, pinning it to the trunk so that way it covered her and her father's name so that only Kekkaishi's name showed, almost as a way to let him know the note diffinately was meant for him. (( Elemental Disable: Complete!))

Kikyo returned back in the village after a day in Grass. She just hadn't felt like going alone and would have to try and make some other friend some how so she wouldn't have to be alone. She sighed. 'Oh well. I can train tonight and then go find a new friend after I learn the last Soshi clan attack.'

Kikyo Soshi glared up at the ceiling of her old bed room's ceiling as she laid on her old bed. It'd been such a long time since she'd had the desire to do anything but glare at this one spot on the ceiling. It had never done her wrong, but just the fact that it had come to her being so lonely and unmotivated because of her loneliness was enough to severally piss her off to the point of only wanting to wallow in her loneliness. And to make things worse, she had promised herself she would train to get to the point where she would be ready to go to this time's chuunin exams, but due to her unmotivation, she saw no need to go to them and was now cursing herself for not. Kikyo questioned what was wrong with her. Was it really loneliness? Was it just laziness? Was she sick? What could it possibly be that would hold her back and make her not want to take part in the ever important chuunin exams she vowed to go to? She asked herself this over and over again, haunting herself with her own questions and making her mood more and more grim and annoyed at the world. She knew the real reason she hadn't wanted to go, but she was in denial of coming to such a conclusion. It was the fact Kekkaishi still hadn't come home. Maybe he was mad at her for leaving. Perhaps he'd caught some rare disease in Kamakura and was being hospitalized and quarantined until he was better. Or maybe he was too busy with his own training to even notice that the one he had said so many times he cared for was gone. Who knew. Only Kekkaishi and the all mighty gods would know why he still hadn't come back to the Hidden Heaven where he belonged. Well, what ever his excuse would be, it would have to be important. She continued glaring at the ceiling, not caring her mask was off, as she continued with her train of random questions as to why she wasn't doing any thing she said she would. Kikyo then closed her eyes and thought of something important. Today was Christmas. Not only that, but it was Christmas and she was all alone. Sure, it wasn't the first Christmas with out her family, but every Christmas she'd always had had Kekkaishi to help her forget how alone in the world she felt. He made her smile as they sang stupid carols and ate sweets together that Kekkaishi would not otherwise try to eat due to the inhumanly amount of sugar Kikyo packed into each treat. Though it wasn't her first Christmas with no parents or sibling, it was her first with out her best friend. Kikyo cried a little and covered her face, ashamed of the tears rolling down her cheeks. Stupid tears! How traitorous they were to her emotions towards him! It was only when she thought of how she wasn't with Kekkaishi that Kikyo Soshi ever cried. She hadn't even cried any of the times she'd gone to visit her mother, father, and sister's graves or when she learned they had died. In fact, she was the only one not crying at each funeral. But yet when she thought of how Kekkaishi wasn't there she would always start to bawl uncontrollably like a little child. Right now she disgustd herself with the way she was acting. Kikyo was getting too old to be celebrating this stupid holiday any ways, so why should she be so sad that she was alone on such a day. All it meant was that it really was offically winter and that it was just another cold day where people would fake being happy to see one another and give each other meaningless conversation and a lethal-to-your-health amount of food to friends, neighbors, and family. That's all it was. And no matter how many times you sing Silent Night, the words will never change and you'll still have a noisy room of people critisizing you and your technique. There was no point to all the fuss. It was just another mindless tradition and another excuse to ask for things you really didn't need. Kikyo wiped her face, clearing her eyes and cheeks of the evil tears, and wiped her nose with the back of her hand, not that it was really needed. She swiftly sat up, too quickly, and plopped back to the bed. She looked up at the same spot she'd been looking at for the past... how ever long it'd been since she started this behavior. Was this really healthy? She sat up and pinched her stomach. She'd gained a little wait, not a lot, but she could tell her muscles might be weaker. She imediately started training with weights and such until she felt like the limbs would pop from the sockets at any second. She then shuffled into the bath room and ran some cold water as she went to the kithen and grabbed all the ice she had. She dumped the ice into the water and got in, clothes and all, and shivered some as she let the water numb her pains. After she had lost all feeling for a good amount of time and felt the tingling of the cells in her body getting too cold, she got up and drained the water, leaving the ice in the tub so it could melt and go down the drain. She shuffled into the family room and looked at the family picture. It gave her a faint smile looking at the picture and she realized how hungery she was. Kikyo went to the kitchen and started cooking herself a little Christmas feast like she did every year with out thinking about it and started eating. It wasn't until she was half way done that Kikyo noticed what she had cooked. She looked to the spot where Kekkaishi used to sit and watch her and she felt her eyes water and her nose drip a little. She wiped vigorously at her eyes, clawing at them to attempt the end to her tearing and blew her nose into her napkin and swiftly tossing it away. She finished the rest of her meal and c;eaned the late beofre returning it where it belonged. Kikyo went to the firdge and got some milk and started heating it for hot chocolate. She rubbed her arms and looked around, mumbling to herself to fill some of the quiet of the house. When the hot chocolate finished, she started gulping it down, ignoring the pain as she burnt her tongue with the all to hot liquid. To be honest, she didn't even really taste the chocolate. All she felt was the warmth, which was a releif after the long cold bath she had had. Kikyo quickly made another cup of the drink and took the time to let this one cool off this time, sipping it slowly and savoring the rich, creamy feel as it went down her throat. It really had been a long time since she had actually eaten. It was a tad depressing how long it'd been since she felt motivated to do anything. Way, way, to sad that she had really done nothing with her life since who knows how long ago. And to top it all off, she'd missed so much going on. As she sat down to watch the news that she had been recording this whole time, she gasped when she learned of the destruction of Konaha. She felt terrible for the people of the Leaf, wondering who and why some one would want to take so many lives and homes from the people of that village. In fact, even though she hated to admit it, all the people she had met from there were really good people, even the one who's name she had forgotten who had tricked her into getting kissed by him after he snuck a look at her face. She wondered idly as to what could have happened to the Uchiha. She shrugged, not really caring all that much and sipping on her coco. She even wondered about Ebisu-sensei. Sure, they hadn't seen eye to eye durring her training... In fact, by the time it ended both resented each other and silently hoping that the other would fall off a cliff or something, but he had still been a pretty good teacher despite how much she stil had a grudge against him. I mean, who could blame her! In the time she had been there she had only really eaten once or twice, and sleep only happened when she fainted from tiredness or from hunger. So of course she would hate him! And there was no surprise he would hate her. Most people hated her before they even knew her. But the fact that they were by each other's side almost constantly and the fact that she would amaze him with her quick ability to learn and then imediatlely do or say something stupid, rude, or arrogant would have driven any one insane! She would even smirk (not that he would ever see) when ever Ebisu called her a demon from hell and tell him that he flattered her with his words just to see him squirm. By the end of it all, he believed her really to be a demon of hell and that she was as heartless as she tried to make him beleive. Well, at least it was a mision accomplished. She hadn't wanted to make a friend out of him any ways. In fact, she had been one hundred percent sure she hadn't wanted a friend at the time other than Kekkaishi. But now that she had been so alone now, she was starting to think having at least one or two more friends wouldn't hurt. After all, what was the harm in having an ally or two that weren't in the village? She'd long given up on a friend in the village, but if she could find one outside the village, amybe then some one would trust her enough to want to be her firend. She eally could be trust worthy, but no one in this village was going to do that. The only other person she figured she'd have a chance of gaining their trust was Kekkaishi's father, but would that make their relationship awkward? Kikyo shook her head, thinking that there was no relationship between her and Kekkaishi any more. Maybe if she saw him that would change, but until then there was nothing between them besides distance. Kikyo thought she heard some knocking on the door and mated the tv. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and shrugged, turning the volume back on to listen to the rest of the news. She thought she heard it again and muted the television one more time. The young Soshi closed her eyes and listened longer this time, hearing another faint knock at the door. She growled a little under her breath and shut the tv off and went to her room. She grabbed a mask that covered her whole face (Much like that of an ANBU's) and grabbed her sword and slipped the mask on as she walked to the door. She waited until she heard the knock once again beofre she flew the door open and aimed the sword at who ever was at the door. Kikyo stopped and hesitated before lowering the sword and strapping it to her side so it was no longer pointed at the familiar face of Kekkaishi's father. The head of the Soshi clan smiled warmly to her. "Well, hello Kikyo. Good to see I caught you awake. I had though you might have fallen asleep with the tv on like your father used to." Kikyo shifted a little and just stared at him from behind her mask before clearing her throat so she could talk. "... Uh, d-do you want in or..." Kekkaishi's father shook his head, still smiling calmly and warmly. "No need. I just wanted to come by and give yu something for Christmas. It isn't much, but know it'll come in handy with your training." "My... My training? .... How would you know... or why would you care about my training?" He chuckled a little. "Don't worry about it. Here. I heard you've learned all but this one move." He handed her a copy of the scroll with the technique Breaking the Habit on it. "Don't worry about paying me back or anything. Just work hard and learn this last techinique." And with that, the head of the Soshi clan walked off, leaving Kikyo to learn her last Soshi atack. ((Breaking the Habit: Complete!))

Kikyo returned home after giving up on trying to find the remains of the Hidden Leaf. As she walked above the town, she heard a few complaints about her return, but she played it off as nothing. She didn't care what these people had to say about her, so she wouldn't bother. She yawned, looking around and seeing if there was any one that would pose some interest to her in any form. Komen Usai ended up in Hidden Heaven as he was tracking a lead to the people that had destroyed the Hidden leaf village. Komen arrived to this floating fortress by his flying rhino called Gorran, the king of beasts. Komen landed on the outskirts of this hidden village and looked left and right as he was still on the back of his rhino, "Hmmm...now than I suppose I need to walk about and run into one of these killers right? Right." He said as his summoned beast Gorran left in a puff of smoke. Komen walked through the village as he wore his alliance robes so he could show himself off. Anyone that wanted to kill him was definitely going to be his target. Or it was going to be any that runs from him is also going to be his target.

"I wonder what resides around here!" Thantos exclaims as he twirls about through the air, his odd inverted gaze passing across each and everything on his way to the Hidden Heaven Village. "I've never been to Heaven, I hope it has good chakra. I'm hungry!" He then says, as his etheral body allows for everything to be seen through the haze that he was. The massive amount of angelic and demonic wings at his back, spreading wide as if he were going to take flight, before they settled around his back once again. This would be fun for him, if he could find some people to play his game with. But who knows, some times, there were just no one there when he needed people. [125]

The young Soshi looked as she heard some people mutter about another guy who was apperently "flying" around the village. 'Kekkaishi? ... No, it's not him. It's not his chakara I sense...' Kikyo used her air walk to follow to where people had last seen him and kept hidden, looking this new guy over. He obviously wasn't from around here, so she would have to keep an eye on him and make him learn that this was her turf. She sensed another one come in and growled slightly under her breath. 'Great, there's an invasion of new people! Just hope they don't expect me to let them take this place over while I'm around.'(( 73+115/600))

Komens byakugan gaze had sensed some other chakra signals in the area as he was going to try and keep things relaxed. He didn't want to stir up any trouble than he has already done by actually coming to this village. His gaze could feel the eyes of a shinobi watching him as he was making his way through the village, "Hm, now I wonder, is that an enemy or an ally." He said to himself as he was walking through the village looking for what he had come here for, an enemy of hidden leaf or an enemy to him. Komen walked through the village still as he was walking straight for the kages house. He really didn't know where it was so he was going to every major building that looked very important.

"Psst. Hey. Want to know what would be fun? If that guy didn't notice you, then you could follow him around, and mutter all you like!" Than says, as the floating form of him, that was before her suddenly vanishes in a puff of ethereal mist. The true Descartes clan member, floated behind her and far too close, though his wings were folded up to create a sort of Grim Reaper like appearance, much like a translucent, yet deep black cloak that covered his pale golden hair. A single inverted eye gaze out through the hood, while against his shoulder, rested a large scythe with a twisted shaft. Adding to his Grim Reaper like appearance. Already he had found someone to toy with, and with what her muttering said, there were more people near by. More laughs, and more fun for himself, after all! [144]

Kikyo thought she heard some one behind her and let her true form show, where she had black demonic horns on her head and 4 vessels comming from her back from when she had been in Kamakura. She turned and faced the guy who had been talking to her, using a trick her father had taught her when she was little in a way to make her golden eye look more demonic. "Who are you?"(( 188+74/600))

Hedoro stalked into the village, clad in her same rags and scraps of cloth that she always wore. That last meal had been satisfying, true, but now she was getting hungry again. And she had never been to this village, maybe the locals here tasted different? It was worth a try. So she continued deeper into the village, looking for someone, anyone that would suit her purposes. Either to give her an easy meal, or to give her a battle beforehand, something to whet her appetite and make her truly appreciate their corpse as a meal. (96)

Komen raised an eyebrow as he felt the gaze on him dissappear. He wondered if that was just him but he was still in search of the Kages main office. He needed to get some help from this village to help him in his search. He had gotten a few names of people that needed to be hunted down. One of the more well known people on the list was Bone and his allies. He had also heard of a few others from the hidden sand village that was there. Komen wondered if any of that was true since hidden sand and the hidden leaf village had a truce to work with one another. Komen was having a difficult time getting around as he was being pushed in all sorts of directions by the locals. Komen felt another chakra signal as it felt familiar. Komen looked toward the direction of Hedoro.

Hedoro paused in mid-step, casting out her senses a little more forcefully. Yes, they were looking at her. They felt somewhat familiar, too, but who were they? No matter. If they were going to notice her, then they just advanced on the list of potential meals. Turning to face them, she began to advance casually. She'd give them a chance to run now, but if they chose to stick around, then the fun would truly begin. As she moved forward, her footsteps, normally silent, grew audible. Just barely, but getting the tiniest bit louder with each step she took. (+99)
