Something strange was happening. Not the usual strange either. Yuki was probably right. He was going to get hurt... but it wasn't going to be because of her. A small cracking noise came from the jewel."No..." He said with fear in his voice. "The jewel is...breaking?"

He gasped as he felt like his life was being drained. He couldn't believe it was happening, he wouldn't! The jewel didn't crack, it's couldn't, but he realized... it was. "it-...it's brea-king, apart.." He spat out. He fell to his knees and gasped repeatedly. Would he be dead soon? Would everything be gone?

"Y-you can't!" he coughed. He looked at the ground. Blood lay infront of him...but for once in his life...it was his blood. "I...I think..." He began between gasps and coughs "I think-I need help..." He could barely see the world now. "I don-'t...don't know how...you can..."

"dang it!" she yelled, placing her hand directly over the place where his shikon shard was and muttering strange words. her strength was draining into him, and she started to feel dizzy.

He felt a little weird. He could feel a hand right above the jewel. "W-what are...you, doing?" He asked raspily. A sudden feeling caught his attention. The jewel was sealing it'self back together! "What's-going on?" Was she giving up her own life? He pushed her away. "Stop it! I do-n't want you to kill yourself!" The jewel was almost whole again.((p.s, it's not the shikon jewel!...confusion! whee ))

 ((there's the jewel...it's kinda crappy, but so what? lol)) Sedric looked back at Yuki. "If I wanted you to die, I would've done it myself." He closed his eyes. "And everyone of your little friends would probably kill me for it anyway."

"do you actually think you could've killed me?" she says, sarcastically, "but, yes, they would've killed you for me! im just too popular! here, let me finish..." she leaned over him again and started to heal the jewel further.

"This is probably a waste of time.They'll try again." He told her with a sigh. "Maybe not right away, but if I know them well enough they'll do it." He didn't try to get up. For once he thought it better to just lay down for a while.
