Remmy didn't say anything, just grabbed the second sword and tossed it to Pyralis. She stood with her sword raised over her head, pointed at Pyralis.

Remmy laughed several times. "Oh come on Pyralis, this isn't even a challenge. Come on, don't humore me, try to beat me!" she exclaimed.

Remmy grinned and fought back with greater intensity. "That's better! Much better!" she said, unknowing to both of them that she was teaching Pyralis to rely more on his instincts.

"Ha! Checkmate!" she said, the dull point of the sword at his throat. She was grinning in utter glee. It was always like this when she won the matches, and sometimes even when she lost. It was very hard to get her out of her high spirits and this was no exception.

Remmy dropped the sword beside her and then dropped down on top of him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Don't tease like that Pyralis! I'll always need you, you're my best friend and don't you forget it." she said, her face buried in his hair.

Remmy stayed quiet, unable to speak. She always felt there was something between them that no one would ever be able to explain, but when he said that it made things so clear and yet so confusing. Tears slipped out of her eyes and into his hair and the only thing she felt she could was to kiss his cheek.

Remmy shook her head and buried her face in his hair. "I don't know anymore Pyralis. I don't know what this feeling is and I'm not sure how to react to it. I don't know anything about myself anymore. So many things are happening, some good some bad. But I can distinguish them usually, whether it's good or bad. And my heart says this is wonderful but my brain is telling me to keep my mouth shut and shove these feelings away." she said, hugging him tighter but being careful not to hurt him.

"I..."Remmy trailed off, not knowing what to say because she didn't know. But what she did know was that her heart had never failed her. Heart or head? Heart or head? This kept running over and over in her mind. She finally pushed all her thoughts out of her head. She leaned forward and kissed him gently on the lips, pulling back after a few seconds, waiting for his reaction.
