Roux's eyes slid partially closed as Rivener continued with the touches that felt all too much like some sort of abstract worship, praise, compliments, everything good all rolled into one. He frowned a little when his lips ran against his cheek and ear, shifting away a bit uncomfortably. He reached up to rub the spots as though to clear away the lingering feeling of the touch, as soft as Rivener's lips had been he didn't like it.
But the words were more than sufficiant to quell the cold rage that lay just below the surface.. the other Raeven was almost literally tredding on thin ice, managing to avoid the weakspots just barely.
Roux reached up experimentally, sliding his cool palm against Rivener's cheek, fingertips almost massaging against his scalp as he let the other Raeven's silky hair slide between his fingertips.
"Riv'ner.." The faint lilt of some foreign accent rarely hearable was rich in the one word. He didn't speak enough for it to be heard, usually. "Delicious..mm..." His head tilted to the side as he placed a kiss to a lock of dark hair, eyes sliding open to peirce the other Raeven with an intent gaze. "Roux yes. Riv'ner Roux."

We`rika took the proffered food with thanks. The yam or... sweet potato (Why the ******** did it have two names?) looked nice and big and warm against his cold hands. He swirled the liquid suspiciously in the cup. Why was this stuff pink as well?! God, this color was a curse! Well... not always, he added foolishly as he looked at Chloe biting into her yam... or sweet potato... thing.
"I-Ish hah.. be cah-fuu."
Hearing Chloe, the Huicholan's ears perked up and a large toothy grin split his face in half. "It's whaaa?" He asked, teasingly. And he thought his English was bad. Still smiling like a fool, he unwrapped his yam............ or again... sweet potato and sunk his long teeth into the thin skin, receiving some nice burns on his gums. "Sahmofa'bish!!"He cursed and pulled back, leaving little teeth marks in his yam. He frowned childishly and rubbed his cheek. The Huichol's eyes wandered down to Chloe who was having the same problem. Now he understood. Seeing as the young woman's drink wasn't going to help, We`rika offered his cold lemon... thing in turn. "Here..."

Rivener didn't think he'd ever heard the other saying his name like that. It brought a large smile to his lips as he pulled away, smoldering eyes locking onto Roux's as the Ice Frei spoke. "Yes," he nodded. "Rivener Roux," he agreed. It was a vague statement, as always with Roux, but Rivener got the meaning, in general terms.
He'd noticed the places that Roux hadn't liked. Lips were okay, and apparently neck was okay, but cheek and ear weren't. Roux's hair was also a once in a while thing, where most times Roux didn't like it. It was pleasant to discover the other like this, without using words.
Rivener closed his eyes a touch more when Roux played with his own hair. He enjoyed that. "I want to stay here," Riv sighed, knowing that soon the time would come to leave. The event lasted only this night, and it was almost over. The two had been in here for quite a while already. Riv frowned a bit at the idea of leaving, and drew a finger along the other's jawline, coming to stop just under his chin to tilt his head up slightly, softly, so he could look into those icy eyes directly.

"Oh! It says--Gah!" Tyson cried out as Lillian's hand fell across his mouth. Aphismet guessed right, if Tyson hadn't been cut off by Lillian, he would have surely told him what was on their messaging machine.
"Shush Tyson!" Lillian told him, blushing deeply. Now she had to make sure that Aphismet did not hear that message. Maybe to him it would be funny, but to Lillian it was just too embarrassing.

Aph startled at the young lady's reaction. A moment later his grin returned, this time mischievious. "Saaaaay, you're not home right NOW, are you? So if I were to walk over to the lab's phone and call, I'd get the answering machine, right?" He began to walk towards the lab slowly, looking playfully over his shoulder at the two.
He didn't mean to tease, but lately he'd gotten into the habit of teasing Isi whenever he could; he found it immensely entertaining. For some reason he reacted the same around these two; he wanted to play with them, and see what they would do. Tyson wouldn't be adverse to it apparently, but poor Lillian seemed about ready to pop a vein over it. Aph's curiosity was almost unbearable as he actually considered doing what he threatened to do.

"N-No! You wouldn't dare!" Lillian cried but as she saw the older man walking off she knew he might actually be serious.
"A-Aphi! It's nothing! Wait! Stop!" Lillian begged, that wouldn't work though...she'd have to chase him down. Quickly, the young woman darted after him with Tyson in tow.
"Run Aphi! Run to the phone! I'll stop her!" Tyson yelled trying to fight his giggles, this was just too much! Rarely did he get to see Lillian so flustered, it was just too much fun to see her chase after Aphi. Purposely, Tyson suddenly fell to the ground and had begun to wriggle about on his back.
"Lillian! Lillian I can't get up! I'm a turtle cupcake now! Help me up!" The child cried. Lillian had to stop for this! It was a brilliant plan of his.
Lillian paused in her run to look back at her little brother, than back to Aphismet. She moaned and ran back over to help up Tyson. If only Marmaduke was here! He'd handle that tease long enough for Lillian to halt him in his steps. Before Lillian could catch herself, she too started giggling. This was all too much, but the giggles just wouldn't stop.
"Aphi! I'm gonna get you! Come on Tyson! You're just a cupcake!" She called out, trying to drag Tyson along back to where Aphi was headed.

Ah, so his roll hadn't been a successful one! Well, he could always try again, couldn't he? The only price this Lucky Pan seemed to charge in was patience, and Ravi had... well, not plenty, but enough to spare a couple of dice from his wrath. An irritating person might not be so lucky, but dice were small and inanimate. Hardly a worry.
Scooping the dice into his hands, Ravi bent his head over just a little more and released the dice into their pan. Had he gotten lucky?

Roux stared unblinkingly back into Rivener's eyes, his face only holding the vauge expression of something.. like a mix between confusion and a child wanting something. He pouted, looking toward the exit. He wanted to stay too, but come to think of it... the end of this whole afair was coming close.
Roux sat back, pulling away from Rivener's touches only a little reluctantly, and looked toward the exit.
Maybe...
Yes... but they'd have to be...
He'd have to think more of it, but it could work. Roux turned back to Rivener with a small smirk, once more floating equal to the other's height. He reached forward, fingers brushing against the dark Frei's cheek before he 'stood', moving out of the swan boat and onto the track below. "Leave now again later be." He began heading toward the exit door, pausing to turn and wait for Rivener to follow, eyes watching him intently with every movement and shift he made.
He couldn't keep his eyes away for some reason...
Chloe greatfully took the cup, only taking a small sip - she didn't want to drink it all, it was his - and handed it back timidly. "I-I guess w-we should be m-more careful.. b-but it's good!"
She gingerly took a smaller, daintier bite, carefully chewing it with concentraition.

Ravi sighed. Another miss. There had to be some way he could increase his chances at the game... after all, he was a magician! Fledgling, yes, but he was always a quick learner and and adept in every area he'd approached. According to the books he read, magic was best described at "probability enhancement," so couldn't it help in the case of a dice roll?
Cupping the dice in his hands, he forced some energy into his palms and focused, his eyelids half-shut, eyes staring forward blankly. In his mind he focused on all of the different winning rolls, visualizing the hundred-sided dice showing just the numbers he needed. There were a lot of different combinations to focus on, but Ravi wasn't poor at mathematics. He didn't focus on every number combonation - just the ones that felt right, that felt more possible than the rest. He inhaled slowly, blinked, then threw the dice once more. This should work... right?

Aphismet had been running, laughing, towards the Lab, but once he saw how upset it was making her, the man stopped. He just couldn't REALLY do something like that to someone; he just wanted to tease. He walked back and smiled.
"Maybe I'll get the machine some other time," he said, helping the little Cupcake-boy to his feet. "Sorry I ruined your plan," he whispered to the boy.
"It's getting late; shouldn't you two be heading home?" The man said, nociting the time on his watch; the event was drawing to a close! Soon he'd have to find Rivener and head home, himself.
Rivener had smiled, resigned, as Roux pulled away. That last playful smirk of his was another mystery, to which Riv tilted his head and smiled sensually. Whatever the other's plan was, it would no doubt be interesting to say the least.
Riv watched Roux "get up" and float to the exit, admiring ever graceful curve of his ribbon, the easy manner in which his hair drifted, so nonchalant... Even his almost-bare wings seemed like grandiose things, only because of the way Roux held himself when he moved. As though that's how they were meant to be, an no one would dare to argue about it.
The Scorpion grinned as the other turned to wait for him. It was always such a compliment to have Roux pay him any kind of attention; surely no other Raevan received this kind of thing from the Ice Frei. Rivener stood and picked up the ice sculpted Roux, which thankfully, hadn't begun to melt yet. Riv floated over to his companion and leaned for one last soft kiss, smiling as he pulled away. "I'm sure we'll be together again soon," he agreed. "Time to go." He pushed open the door for the other, a blast of snow-laden air greeting the two.

Roux's wings spread and he seemed to raise up a little higher as the cold and snow swirled around him but never seeming to hit him. He allowed Rivener the last kiss before nodding and turning away, wings spreading a little as he went, a soft word carrying over his shoulder in the wind.
"Bye."
He headed back to event, immediatly seeking out and finding Chloe. He was tired of being here and was -very- ready to go home. He glared at the pink haired male standing in front of her before turning his demanding gaze back to his guardian.

Tyson shook his head with a pout clearly on his face. He was not very happy that Aphi came back,"You were so close too!"
Lillian reached into her pocket and pulled out her cell phone, wanting to see if it really was late,"Wow...I didn't think it was that late. Tyson, I need to get you to bed. Marm is probably wondering where we are now. Ugh...I bet he tore up more of his sheets waiting for us." She hadn't realized just how fast their day went by.
"B-But! I wanna stay! Lil....few more minutes? Please! I really wanna stay!" Tyson cried hugging his sisters legs, looking up her with a sweet and innocent face.

It was getting late and very cold, the bonfire wasn't holding up the changing temperature as well as before. Or Niksia was starting to notice the weather more, anything was possible. Hunching up her shoulders in an effort to cover them, she came to the conclusion that she'd probably overstayed and could do with finding her way home soon.
In a reflective mood, she made her way to the exit, still holding on to her prize. She hadn't managed to talk to Aphismet about it, but decided that there would always be another chance to mention it.
Something to divert her on her regular walks, finding out more about the Lab. Niksia knew she would be back again one day, armed with more information and warmer clothes.

Taking back the cup from her petite hands, We`rika swirled the contents once more almost in hesitation to try it. He took a small sip and wrinkled his nose. It was... sweet, but kinda tart. It was alright he supposed, but not what he expected. Still, his mouth was melting from third degree burns sooo.. beggars couldn't be choosers and he downed the rest of the cup in one gulp. Licking his lips clean of the sweet sugary liquid, the Huichol nodded to Chloe's good advise.
He blew gently on he sweet potato before taking a bite, chewed once and stuffed it against his cheek like a squirrel. Another few deadly flakes assaulted his dark cheeks and he looked up at the sky, watching his breath create a string of fog. The heavy weight of another day loomed in the sky and he sighed. He was disappointed that this festival would have to end soon, very soon. Letting his ears fall back, he looked back at Chloe and pursed his lips into a flat line
"Ah uhmm...." Remembering the stashed piece of potato he still hoarded in his mouth, he quickly swallowed and pulled on his hair awkwardly. "Ya said.... ya uhmm.. worked fer tha' Lab tha' ran thi' festivuhl, right? Well... " Oh s**t! "Well...... I s-still wanna talk to you--" We`rika stopped mid-sentence at the feeling of something boring into the back of his head. Turning around, he saw who was he? Roux is what she called him right? God, could he not be alone with Chloe for more than a few ******** minutes?! Gritting his teeth in seething frustration, he let his venom drip from his dark glaring eyes for what his tart tongue could not express in English words. Remembering his important question, he turned back to Chloe all smiles, well.. an awkward smile. "Can I get yer number... " He wondered if he could be any more tactless. Well this was hard for him! God! "I do wanna talk with ya more.. about you, about thi' Lab..." He neglected to mention the most pressing issue concerning the spirits that transcended the spiritual realm. But first things first.

Chloe listened patiently to him speak, giving a small smile to Roux as he floated up. He seemed.. impatient and aggrivated but also.. not. She couldn't explain it very well. She gave him a small nod before focusing on We`rika again.
She gave a small "Oh!" and a nod. Her number, of course, of course. People often asked for her number.. or well.. the lab's number. She didn't think much of it as she took a yellow sticky note out from her pocket and scribbled her number as well as the lab's telephone number in skrtichy, hard to read writing.
"H-Here you are.. c-call anytime!"
Awkwardly she bent and crawled back out from behind the refreshments booth, standing right in front of We`rika. She reached out a hand shyly, as though she wanted to shake. "I.. I had.. uhm... i-it was.. n-nice meeting you."
Roux scowled from behind them both, the air chilling just slightly. He didn't like this... this punk one bit. He was uncooth, he was grungy, he was.. ugly as all sin and he spoke like an idiot.
