Train walked back out to the grass, after getting her pokemon back from Nurse Joy, and decided she'd level up her pokemon now. She would do it as fast as she could, but she wouldn't try to rush and end up hurting her pokemon in the process. "I've got to get strong enough to beat Brock!" She declared out loud. "No more catching pokemon, I'm going to defeat them all to level up the pokemon I already have!" and Pikachu jumped down from her shoulder, already eager for a battle.

Nina watched as Raimundo scrolled through all of the files in the list. Many of the files had strange names, some of which only consisted of seemingly random numbers and letters, which didn't even come close to forming a clear word. "Gah... at this rate, we might need to look through every single file before we find anything," she said, a look of disappointment on her face. "But I suppose it won't--"
The girl stopped speaking. Her jaw fell a little bit as she read one of the filenames that Raimundo had scrolled past. "Something wrong, Nina?" he asked, looking to his left at the girl. "...Go back," she replied. "Scroll up a little." He did, and she blinked a few times. "Click on... the third one from the top."
"The third one... Wait. The one named KilikFile.txt?" He saw his friend nod, and he complied with her request. Nina scooted closer to the computer screen, and started reading the contents of the file. "Oh my god," she whispered, "Giovanni kept tabs on Kilik... Everything he did, everywhere he went... How?" Raimundo looked to Nina with an expression of confusion. "Who's Kilik?" he asked. "Is he your boyfriend or something?"
The girl snapped out of her state of concern and bewilderment, and scoffed. "No," she replied, a little sharply, "not anymore. I don't care about him, but I do care that the boss of the flunky who tried to kill me has tracked where Kilik went and what he did..."

A Pidgey fluttered around unsuspectingly. As it was pecking at the ground, it was suddenly hit by a powerful electric shock. Outraged at the fact that something had attacked it, the Pidgey hopped back up and turned angrily to face the direction where the lighting had come from. It stared at a yellow mouse pokemon.
Train grinned as the Pidgey turned to face her Pikachu. She commded Pikachu to use a another thundershock, which it did.
The Pidgey flew out of the path of the second bolt coming it's way, then it kicked up sand in a flurry to lower Pikachu's accuracy. "Pi-!" Pikachu cried as it blocked it's face from the sand. When the sand had stopped, Pikachu yet again sent out a shock, and this time the Pidgey could take no more, and fainted.
Train picked up her Pikachu and congratulated him for a job well done. Then she noticed the sun was just begining to set on the horizan, and decided it would be fun to camp that night. After she had sent up a tent and made a fireplace, she left sat down and released her Ratata.
(Is it ok if I make it night?)

Jumping at Surge's shout Dante watched the other scurry away and frowned slightly. Seeing the badge and other goodies being offered to him Dante took them with a smile. "Thank you very much for the battle Lieutenant Sir. I just didn't want to ask you about Zapdos until I had proven myself to you is all." It was true it would be a bit unfair to ask the man about the electric pokemon if he hadn't even proven that he was a fairly decent trainer all ready. "So um, how did you meet my mom? Were you the gym leader here when she was getting her badges?" He asked curiosly.
Apollo who had been watching this whole time, trying his best to appear as proud as he could in front of the gym leader was now curious about his Raichu on his shoulder. Carefully the flaming pony trotted over to where he was on Surge's shoulder and stiffed the cute electric mouse. After a moment he decided he liked the pokemon, he respected him a bit more after going up against a pokemon his main attacks couldn't do any damage to as well. EPP! MY APPOLOGIES ANYA!

Ratata looked around nervously. It wasn't used to being in a pokeball, and it was glad to get out. He saw Pikachu and Train looking at him, their eyes friendly. Train's eyes reminded him of a cats, but Ratata wasn't afraid. He creeped over to Train and sniffed her pant leg, then her hand. Ratata's stomach rumbled, and he looked around for something to eat.
Train smiled as the Ratata sniffed her, and then, seeing him lok around hungrily, she opened her black, white, and silver-gray backpack with a picture of a pokeball in the middle, and pulled out some pokefood. She put it on the ground in front of her.
Ratata sniffed the pokefood, and tasted a piece. Finding that he like it very much, he ate it all, and, full, curled up and went to sleep, knowing now he could trust this 2-legged girl.
Pikachu followed Ratata's lead, and, after also having some food, went to sleep. It was still a little light out, so Train stood up and walked around, not going to far from her campsite.

Apperently the powered up Double Kick and the poison in her body was to much for the Jigglypuff to handle and she fell to the ground not getting up. The Picknicker pouted and recalled her pokemon. "Fine, you get past me but dont expect the others to fall as easily as I did." She said crossing her arms over her chest and walking off the bridge to get her pokemon healed in the pokemon center.
Blinking Toph was a bit surprised by her sudden exit before she grinned and looking down at Edge she felt that he was excited as well. Queeny lifted her head in trumph as she walked back over to them triumphantly. When she got to them she stood there preening for a moment before she suddenly felt very tired and fell to the ground. Apperently the evolution was a bit to much for the poison pokemon and she needed her rest. "Well good job Queeny." Toph said recalling her into her pokeball. Putting it back on her belt Toph looked down at Edge who had his arms crossed over his chest. "You ready for the next battle?" Edge who had been waiting for this the entire time just grinned and nodded his head, his long white bushy tail flicking behind him eagerly.

Finally tired, Train pulled her sleeping bag out of the tent and laid it down a few feet away from the fire, near Ratata and Pikachu, who were sleeping soundly. She laid her head on the small pillow she'd brought, and soon fell asleep.
Is anyone near Viridian City?

The next trainer on the bridge turned out to be another Youngster. "All right I am number three and I will make sure you dont pass me!" He said taking out a pokeball. "Lets go Sandshrew!" He said tossing out his pokeball to reveal a small yellow pokemon with bright blue eyes.
"All right Edge lets show them a pokemon battle!" Toph said sending her bodygaurd pokemon out. Stepping out in front of his trainer Edge gave the young Sandshrew across from him a glare that, while not lowering his stats or anything caused the pokemon to shudder somewhat. "All right Edge lets start this battle off like usual use your Swords Dance!" All ready responding the white pokemon started his dance his long claws swinging around him the whole time.
"Yeah well, Sandshrew use your Sand Attack!" The youngster comanded. The small shrew pokemon grabbed some dirt nearby and tossed it at where Edge was just finishing up his dance.

Flash's slender ears twitched as he stared up at the two-legged bird. Very slowly, his smooth fur began to stand up, becoming rather jagged and spiky. The opposing Doduo shifted uneasily on its feet, both pairs of eyes fixed on the sleek Jolteon below.
"Try a Fury Attack, Doduo!" Jimmie called finally, breaking the eerie silence that had settled over the battlefield. From both of the Doduo's throats came a shrill squawking as it leapt from the rock, both beaks poised to strike.
Flash's smirk mirrored Kasiya's as he trotted to the side, the attack landing nowhere near him. He had a significant speed advantage over Doduo, and he intended to exploit it fully. "Thundershock," Kasiya called loftily, watching as Flash avoided another attempted attack and cast a confused glance back at her. She nodded, confirming what she'd said, and the Jolteon shrugged, letting the electricity build up in his body before he sent it at the Doduo.

Ky was puzzled when Ulani's anger disappeared and made Sting her nesting spot. He was relieved, but he couldn't believe that Ulani would let such a chance just slip by. Daemyn looked quite the opposite. Ky simply waited for M.A. to give Ulani another command; there wasn't anything he could really do except hope for Sting to wake up, which he soon did.
Ky cringed when he saw the placement of Ulani's Peck. It was pretty funny, but Ky knew it hurt. Sting flew up quickly out of his slumber, a little screech of surprise escaping his bug mouth. He rubbed his behind with one fore-arm while shaking his other in anger as if saying 'Why-i-oughta!' Instead of issueing a command though, Ky had heard the explosion as well. "I agree. Sting, we'll have to save this for later. Let's go," Ky said, dashing at a somewhat fast pace towards the Pokemon Center. Sting followed closely behind while Little Guy stayed on his shoulder.

"I've been the leader here for almost eight years now," Surge nodded, a faraway look in his eyes as he spoke. "Your mother..." he trailed off, laughing slightly. "She was a friend of an old associate of mine." He paused, looking for the right words as he spoke. "My former employer, that is."
There was an awkward silence that followed. Raichu was blinking at the silver fire pony, wondering what the Fire-type found so interesting about him - he wasn't the one painted silver with black and white flames, after all.
"Pika-pi!" came the excited cry from Mr. Reid's Pikachu, the little critter perked up at the sight of its trainer coming back into the room holding a battered book.
"I found it, Lieutenant," the gentleman said earnestly. "I almost had my head taken off by a rogue lightning bolt, but I found it!" Raichu gave a sheepish chuckle at the comment, but fell silent as Surge took the book from him.
"To be honest with you, boy, err, Dante, I don't know much 'bout Zapdos. My life was fully consumed by the army, I never really studied th' legendary Pokemon much." He opened the book gently, flipping through a few pages and scanning them quickly. "But this here's a diary. It belonged to one of my old chums who fought by my side through the toughest of battles during th' war. He was also an expert on Legendary Pokemon and the myths that surround them." He paused, a mournful look glinting in his eyes for a moment. "Not only will you find information in here 'bout Zapdos, but also what little is known about the birds of ice and fire, Articuno and Moltres. Take it, I never had much use for it, other for collectin' dust." He extended his large, muscular arm towards Dante, book in hand. "Maybe it'll help you find what yer lookin' fer."

Train woke up to Pikachu poking her arm. She sat up, the bright light from the sun hurtng her eyes a little. She sawy Ratata runnign around sniffing all their stuff, and laughed. She put everything away in her backpack, and returned Ratata to it's pokeball. Time for more training! she thought happily.
She walked around for a while, until she spotted a wild Ratata. Ratata vs Ratata...that would be interesting. she thought, and released her own Ratata. "Ratata," she said, "Tackle attack!"
Ratata heard Train's voice telling it to attack. Since this was his new trainer, he obeyed. Ratata jumped on it's opponent, another Ratata. Even though it was the same species, Ratata didn't mind attacking it like this. He knew it would make him stronger. The wild Ratata squirmed and scratched Train's Ratata. Train's Ratata jumped back and waited for another command.

It was over then. Scizor slammed into Gengar with a force that nearly knocked the wind out of Morty as well as Gengar. The Shadow Pokemon slumped, he had not the staying power required to endure her fierce blows. "Well played," Morty said coolly, giving a bow. "Kudos to you, Kilik of Verdanturf, you are quite the trainer. He held up a steady hand and returned Gengar to its Poke Ball, putting the red and white sphere back into its place on his belt. Whatever had unsettled him before seemed like it was gone, like a ghostly laugh on the wind. "You've defeated my ghosts and I, and thus have earned this prize." He held out his hand, a brand new Fog Badge resting in his upturned palm. The same Gastly that had licked Kilik earlier floated back into the room by use of the door this time, carrying a cloth bag in its teeth. It made a hissing sort of laughter as it came towards Kilik, beckoning for him to take the bat. "In there is your prize money, as well as one of my favourite TMs. It's Shadow Ball."

Keegan cracked his neck loudly as Themis shot off a powerful Thunderbolt at the feminine Delcatty, who did her best to shrug it off. Themis certainly looked as though he were feeling pretty big, strutting around on the spot and baring his fangs eagerly. "It's not over yet," Keegan told the Electrike sharply, who had stopped paying attention to his opponent. This proved to be a problem as Delcatty took the opportunity to dash across the battlefield and slam into the electric Pokemon with a Tackle. Stumbling back, Themis uttered an indignant growl, snapping his jaws at Delcatty as she pranced back over to her starting position. It was quite obvious that the Prim Pokemon was taunting him. "I told you to watch your back," Keegan told his Pokemon, who snorted in reply. "Give her a Tackle of your own!"
Themis barked and dashed off, intent on finishing off that prissy cat in one shot. As he neared her, she winked at him, and batted her eyelashes alluringly. The Electrike stopped dead in his tracks, a dopey sort of smile creeping onto his face to replace the fierce one he wore only seconds ago as attraction overcame him. Themis sat on his haunches, spiky little tail waving back and forth happily.
"Oh great, infatuation," Keegan groaned, wondering what else would happen before the battle was through.

Doduo let out an ear-piercing screech as the Thundershock converged on it, but it wasn't quite enough to take it out yet. Electricity still coursing over its body, the two-legger hobbled forward, lashing out with its two beaks and managing to hit Flash four times - two strikes from each beak. His pride a bit wounded, the bold Jolteon darted away, hissing at the bird it had just shocked.
"I think she's got ya here, Jimmie!" Jeff called from the sidelines. Kyle was laughing alongside his brother, but it was a good-humored sort. Jimmie just laughed and dismissed them with a wave of his hand. Win or lose, he was having a good time battling this spirited girl.
"Tri Attack," Jimmie chortled, although something told him the attack wouldn't see the light of day. This turned out to be true as Flash took matters into his own paws, and loosed another quick Thundershock to finish off the two-headed bird. It slumped, and Jimmie recalled it. "That's it, I'm out," the biker said, shrugging.
"Then I'm up next," Kyle laughed, quickly replacing his brother. "Let's battle!"
