Ty finnished making the mixed creature that looked somewhat like a giant bear with five hawk heads each sitting on their own three foot snake-like necks. Breathing the last bit of life into it, he watched it jog to a location near the center, under the spider's 'eye' and the bearish creature reared up on its hind legs.

Epotheros then went into a dive and pulled up just before he crashed into the ground. He was running parralel with it at a hieght of about 2 feet. He then hit his hands against the rock at several doven locations, the rock turning into a spire of molten rock about 6 feet tall, but then cooled rapidly to leave a spike jutting from the ground. There were close to about 40 spikes ranging from 3 feet to 12 feet, jutting out in all directions. HE then cleared out of the area when he saw Clover's arrow and TY's beast approach the spider.
When the arrow hit the creature's eye it let out a terrible scream. IT's grip lessened but it was still dangling in the by two legs. THe spider though was then pulled down by TY's beast and they both fell on the spikes which Epotheros had set up. An explosion soon followed after the spider was skewered and the mask piece and millon of smaller spiders went flying eyery were. When Epotheros jetted towards the mask shard while it was still air born he was able to eliminate nearly half of the black cloud of shiny little bodies with his wings.
"Let's get out of here before the spiders start to get agressive," Epotheros said as he landed near the exit.
The group was soon back aboard the ship and had a set course on getting home. It was dusk when the ship had finally set sail, and the deck was illuminated with an pinkish glow as the ship slowly moved towards the sunset.

Ty again did not take the boat, but instead ran across the land in seacrh of the skeleton/zombie dragon...he was unable to find any traces of where it had gone, it appeared to have vanished, not leaving any evidence of its existance behind. Ty then returned to Baragoon's Castle to finished the last portions of his studies in the library before the rest returned.

A week later the team was safely home. For several weeks there were no pleas for assistance from any of the surrounding nations about monsters attacking them. This was also a great time for the team to bond and train. THese joyous days however were going to take a turn for the worst on one dark night. Every one were in their rooms when a vison a came to Larien. The figure was Zant, and he told her over and over "The time is near, you know what to do. You must do what I have instructed you to do tonight." Each time he repeated it, the collar's grasp on Larien grew stronger.

Beads of cold sweat rolled down Larien's forehead in her sleep. The collar pulsed with energy and caused her body to convulse with each surge. Her elvish blood made her fight the battle within her each and every night. The spell had forbade her to tell anyone or anything of Zant's plans for her. The last few weeks have been some of the best she had ever had. She started to get butterflies in her stomach when Tramer was near her. But it became harder and harder to move let alone train with the others. Most of the time she sat under a giant oak and watched the her friends spar. She wished she could join in but the collar had started to effect her whole body. It pained her to do anything that she once loved so much. All she could so was sing slowly to the tree that she sat under. The three main spikes on the collar that had curled into her back continued to grow. In the middle of the night the household was awakened by a blood curddling scream.

As Clover slept, her form stirred only a bit to maintain a comfortable position. Dreamless nights filled her mind now. Fortunately unpleasant dreams no longer bothered her. She felt as if the past weeks had been overly peaceful. Though she enjoyed it, she knew it wouldn’t last. Soon something more than likely related to Zant in some manner would destroy their happiness once again.
Clover’s eyes jerked open and adrenaline surged through her body when a disturbing sound cracked through the silence. A scream radiated throughout the castle. She jumped out of bed, gasping when her feet hit the cold, stone floor. She hesitantly crept to and opened the door to her room, peering out down both sides of the hall. Her eyes searched for the cause of the night’s disturbance.

Larien was in so much pain all she could do was lay there as wave after wave hit her entire body. Tears streamed down her face and she wailed again from the pain.

EPotheros heard a fain noise pass through the air as he laid on his back. He didn't know what it could be since the scream was so distant and the walls of the castle were thick. Just for good measure he thought that it would be wise to look around the castle and try to find where the noise was coming from. Meanwhile Zant's voice boomed in Larien's head. "Do it!" he commanded over and over, his voice geting loud as he repeated it.

"NOOOOOO!!!!!" Larien screamed and shot straight out of bed, grasping her head from the thundrous voice. Stumbling past the mirror that was in her room she caught a glimpse of her back and what had been causing the tremndous pain. Two of the collars spikes had fused themselves with her shoulderblades and broken through her skin, while the other main spike continued its way down her spine. The two protruding spikes had taken on almost a bone like look to them.

As the pain increased Zant's control did as well. Soon he was in complete control of Larien and she was ready to carry out his plan.

Epotheros finally makes his way to Larien's room and hears her wailings coming from inside. He bust open the door to find her screaming in pain and the collar growing into some odd looking thing.

Just before Zant's control took compleate control of Larien she was able to choke out, "Epotheros! Get Clover awww...." Calapsing on the floor the spikes compleated there transformation and two wing like structures protruded from Larien's back. With a sudden burst, Larien's head snapped up and looked at Epotheros with cold hate deep withing their firey red depths. Climbing up onto her feet she bolted for the door, dodged past Epotheros and into the hallway.

The noises were getting louder. Clover was hesitant to leave her room completely. She decided that screams meant something bad was happening. Were they attacked? Clover eased back into her room and grabbed her dagger just it case. Then after taking a deep breath she tip toed into the hallway. She gazed in the direction the noise was coming from. She could hear a muffled voice struggling against something.
As she slowly crept down the hallway she stopped. The muffled noises had disappeared. What's going on? she thought slightly panicked. Maybe it was just a nightmare? Yeah, that's it. I can probably go back to bed and hear about it in the morning. Clover felt relieved and casually walked back to her room. She eased her door back open, and before entering she looked back down the hall. What if..? her thoughts fell short as guilt set in. She decided to wait there just in case the noises repeated themselves and then she would go and check on whoever or whatever it was.
