Harry started to snicker but saved it at the last moment, turning it into a weak cough.
Angelino glanced over at his brother then brought his attention back up to Tuari. "Well that was an awfully vague answer. Thinking about some privileged information that you can't even tell one of your oldest friends?"

Tuari shifted a little, narrowing his eyes at Harry, "Well, it's not important, y'know. Just personal stuff," he kinda went shifty eyed for a moment, glancing to the side, inwardly begging an amused Dyani to help him out.

"Alright. Whatever you say, Tuari," Angie said and shrugged, putting on an air of indifference. Inwardly, though, he was dying of curiousity. Tuari was being awfully dodgy about whatever he had been thinking of.

Tuari let out a silent sigh, and stared up at the sky again, then after a moment, "Um...Angel. Whenever your mum let's you, d'you wanna stay at my place? Y'know, sleep over the night," he didn't know why, but he'd had the mad urge to ask that.

Angie pretended to really consider it, taking his time when, really, he had wanted to shout "of course!" the second his friend had asked. "Sure," he finally answered, smiling at the other boy. "My mom wouldn't mind getting rid of me for a night. If you want I can go ask now and maybe stay over tonight."

Tuari grinned, "Ok," his heart was pounding for some reason as he nodded, "I'll-uh-wait here then?" he bent his legs up, giving Angelino a questioning look.

"You can come with if you want but I'll only be gone a second," Angie said as he stood up, dusting the sand off of his clothes. "C'mon Harry."
Harry stood up too and hastily brushed himself off then held out a hand to Tuari. "'Twas nice meeting you. Too bad I didn't get a chance to hang out with you longer and talk properly but I can already tell that all the nice things Angie says about you being a great guy are true."

Tuari took his hand and shook it, "It was nice to meet you too, Harry," he smiled, then let go and leant back on his hands, "I'll probably see you again, so we can get to know eachother more when that happens."

"See you in a little while, Tuari," Angie called as he started down the beach toward home, waving at his friend.
Harry grinned at the older boy then turned and jogged after his brother.

Tuari waved and laid back down with his hands behind his head as he stared up at the sky, watching clouds drift lazily across it. After a few minutes, he started dozing off.

Naturally Angie's mom said he could sleep over at Tuari's house so the silver-headed boy hurriedly gathered up his things ( his pj's, his toothbrush, his pillow and a change of clothes) then took off down the beach carrying all of it in a garbage bag (he would rather not have to deal with grit on all his stuff later on). He started to shout out to the other boy but he stopped, noticing he was sleeping. Angie smiled and sat down next to Tuari, his legs crossed indian-style. Wow, when he's sleeping you'd never guess he was so energetic he thought to himself, giving in to the odd compulsion to gently touch the dark-haired boy's cheek.

Tuari smacked his lips lightly in his sleep, feeling someone's presence and rolling onto his side to get closer to the warmth. It was probably Gary. He climbed into his bed when he had nightmares.

Angie smiled and watched his friend sleep for a few moments more then slid his fingers into Tuari's dark hair and ruffled it a little. "Hey, wake up sleepyhead."

"Hmmnn...five more minutes," Tuari murmered, leaning a little into the hand, but still trying to avoid waking up. "Sleep little longer," he said, yawning widely.
