T'thia wrapped an arm around the girl's shoulders

"trust me, a growling stomach is heard often enough around here it's nothing to be embarassed about. Riders work up the most voraciouse apetites from bathing, oiling, and all around caring for their dragons"

she chuckled and began to lead the girl towards the lower caverns

"no doubt we'll find the headwomen and maybe even the wyrewomen there as well"

The glint came back into her lime green eyes again as she smiled up at this nice women rider. Her red hair bounced across her face, mostly hiding her birthmark on her left brow. She was always a little insecure about the mark.

But she wraped her small yet muscled arm around T'thia and walked with her down to the barracks, her energy quickly restored, and bouncing on her toes yet again.

Glint answered Oneth and Huntu's question with a single phrase:
Mean person.

The little bronze then realized they were going towards food and he pulled on her T'thia's hair warbling thankfully. Human food was so much tastier than anything he could catch. Plus there was always a lot of it.

Oneth and Huntu settled for that answer and settled on T'thia. T'thia chuckled as Glint tugged at ehr greatfully. she was truley starting to creat a fair of fire lizards, between Lira's love and Oneth's golds she was begining to draw attention to herself. she entered the lower caverns and sent the flits off to the wyreling table

"you can sit with me at the senior wyreling table, but during formal meals you have to sit with the other candidates at the candidate table"

she told the girl as she braught her to the long table of food. she grabbed a plate and took some sliced whery, steamed tubers and a helping of asorted vegetables. she then grabed a mug and a pitcher of chilled fruit juice. she turned and waited for the girl to finish getting her food before heading to the table

Treyla's mouth started to water at seeing the meal before her. She noded at the formality stuff, but most of her attention was on attaining food. She placed an asortment of fruits, whery breast, some tubers on her plate. She also grabed a piece of bread with a mug of chilled fruit juice and followed after T'thia. Her stomach was really growling now that food was within digestion distence. "Oh I'm starving!"

Tikal trudged out of the baths. Her damp hair clinging to her face which, combined with her piercing almost blood shot gaze, gave her a frightening look. Lapis was perched upon her shoulder, his tail wrapped loosely around her neck. The pounding head ache had subsided to a throb. She entered the lower caverns in a zombie-like daze and discretely deposited the empty wineskins upon the nearest table.

She made her way to the candidate's table and sat down. She didn't find the aromas of breakfast the least bit appetizing, but she reached for the klah pitcher and stared at her cup as she filled it to the brim. I wonder if I could get more felis juice... What she needed at the moment was a goblet of wine, but she doubted she could take any without being noticed. For the longest time she just stared at her cup of klah, as if at any moment it would do an amusing trick. Finally she took a sip and reached for several slices of wherry from a platter that was offered.

There were voices somewhere to her left...cheery voices.
"Ugh...what are they so happy about?" Tikal mumbled under her breath as she cut the wherry into pieces for Lapis. As the little blue ate, Tikal continued staring at her plate. She had the entire table to herself and was satisfied with being ignored at the moment.

Ath was divebombing through the air. Intent and purpose just to have fun really. He'd been on that caravan for too long and needed to spread his wings. He stretched his small glosemer blue wings and pulled out of the plumet towards the ever growing earth.

Thanks to Treyla's last oiling he could get more use out of his flying than he could anywhere else. Plus there was just more room and many more other flits to play with here!

Flapping his now stronger appendages he turned mid-flight and landed on a nearby ledge with a satisfying bugle. He unclenched his claws and opened his wings wide, takeing his muzzle he itched a little under his wings. Ahh much better... He let out another bugle and shook his whole body, getting all the knoted muscles unknoted.

Curling up now he decided to take a little 'cat nap'. And with a slight yawn with his gapeing mouth he lay down and sighed heavily closeing his outer eyelids. No one would get him by surprise...

Ray winces at the "dear lady," but at least he was making an effort to be polite... She waits for him to get into his clothes, pointedly not looking at him. Not that he really seems to notice, when he's done he bestows an affectionate kiss to her forehead... don't cringe, don't cringe she tells herself. He doesn't seem to notice anything, as he offers his arm almost gallantly.

In response, her stomach rumbles audibly. Ray laughs weakly and puts her hand on his elbow, walking with him to the exit to the weyr.

Wrath? Are you back yet? No response beyond a sensation that makes Ray's face turn pink. Shards! She really needed Wrath to get in touch with Netesath.

Reymenek
R'nek smiled brightly. "Yes, so I've heard." He stuck out his arm for her to take, a light sparkle in his eye. "Shall we?"

-- [later, in the loom room...]

R'nek sighed, eyeing the door. "Think it's safe to go out yet?"

Mine, the flight has been over for hours...

What? Roth, why didn't you... oh, nevermind.

Because, you wanted...

...Shut it.
((XD About time, too!! Heh heh, I've never really had to excercise my patience, and that got me. ^_^))

Niko laughs as she takes his arm, grinning at him while tucking the egg pot under her other arm.
-In the Loom room-
She tilts her head to the side. "I think it's been long enough. Gyo' hasn;t said anything, so I guess it's over." She shrugs, and then grins. "Plus the fact that we're the only one's left in here."

The man smiled at the goldrider, chuckling as her stomach grumbled. "Now, my dear lady, let's find something to eat."

Pericolath mumbled softly to his rider, his tone filled with sleepy contentness. Be careful with this one, Mine...

P'las was surprised at his dragon's warning. Shards, the bronze must really like Wrath if he was warning his rider to be careful with the woman...

T'thia sat down at the senior wyreling table and immediatley began to busy the fair of flits with scraps of wherry, she knew she wouldn't get a single bite if she didn't have their beaks full. she settled Lira on her shoulder, the little queen daintily nibbling hot wherry, Huntu and Oneth on the other hand scrammbled to divide the scraps on the dge of T'thia's plate amungst themselves. the had Glint settle on her other shoulder with wherry keeping Huntu and Oneth away from the emotionaly struck flits. once the four of them were calmed enough she began on her own food. she glanced at the candidate table, knowing the look of too much wine all too well she smirked at Tikal's apearance but drew her eyes away as quickly as she had braught them. she knew the girl wanted quiet and it wouldn't do to draw her unneeded attention. Oneth and Huntu began to squable over the last chunk, each flit having their respected pieces in front of him. T'thia sighed and broke the piece in half. the flits settled and dove into their meal.

The walk to the Lower Caverns isn't completely awkward, which is a relief. After collecting a full platter of wherry steak, roasted root vegetables, and soft breadrolls, Ray takes her usual seat at the table that's normally reserved for goldriders--though that hadn't been too strictly enforced of late, considering the population.

Without checking to see if P'las had followed her, Ray closes her eyes to try to get in contact with Wrath.

Wrath, come on, are you sensible yet?

Hmm? Ray is prepared this time for the residual emotions from the flight, so her face doesn't get too warm...

Wrath, I need you to speak to Netesath.

Now?

Yes, we need to know if Beriadi has resigned as Weyrwoman, before we go sending P'las back home. If she has resigned, then he's the Weyrleader.

Very well.

Wrath is somewhat displeased at having to deal with such tedious affairs, but at least it doesn't require that she leave her sunny ledge with Pericolath... it's just a tedious mental exercise. She casts out her thoughts, in search of her clutchsister, to relay the question.

After Lapis finished his meal he very carefully eased himself into Tikal's lap and curled up for a nap. Tikal poured herself more klah she heard an all too familiar trill. Her eyebrow twitched at the noise and Lapis hissed disapprovingly. Glint landed upon her plate chirping and sending her image after image of caravans and of a red headed girl. Stared at the flit who was practically tap-dancing on her plate. She gave an aggravated sigh. Glint off the table... His chirping continued, driving nails into her skull. Off the table and stop your racket. Once more the little bronze ignored her. Lapis shot him a dirty look for being so inconsiderate.

"Off the table NOW," she ordered sternly. The little bronze fell silent and gave her a hurt look before flapping down to the bench. He warbled sadly before turning towards T'thia's table.

Tikal immediately felt guilty for yelling at him. She shook her head and caught him just as he was about to fly off. He gave a surprised squawk as she pulled him in. Sorry I snapped. She told him as she caressed the spot on his back between his wings and offered him a piece of wherry leftover from Lapis' breakfast. Alright, you can tell me...slower this time okay? Glint crooned.

Kya swam back to something that might, loosely, be defined as consciousness. His eyes won't focus, and his mouth is dry and tastes terrible. But he has ... something in his hand, yes, that has ... liquid in it. He takes a long drink from it and passes out again.

P'las grabbed a plate, filling it with food, grabbing a variety of items from the selection. With his full plate and mug of klah, he turned to spot where Ray had gone off to. Grinning as he noticed her easily in the fairly empty cavern.

Calmly crossing the cavern, he sat across from the goldrider, grinning before he started on his lunch.
