Soren finished his tea and set the cup down without responding before he lay back down in his bed. "I know you're tired." he said quietly. "I can almost hear the creak of your bones. I'm not upset but..." He finally looked up at his student. "You you rest here with me for awhile?"
Yuri smiled and stroked the cats head. "You'd think nobody ever fed you." she said pleasantly.

Tsukiko blushed brightly and tucked her hands into her sleeves, If I refuse I'll hurt his feelings, but what if he sees my bruises? What about Doren-sensei? But I am tired... She bit her lip lightly while she fiddled with her fingers not really knowing what to do. Tsukiko finally nodded towards Soren, "Okay."
Kei chuckled under his breath, It's not that! Tsukiko feeds me just fine and it's good food... I just prefer raw fish!

Yuri smiled and scratched Kei's ears again. "What's so funny? she asked smiling."
Soren looked at his student calmly. He really wasn't expecting anything from her at the moment but still that didn't prevent him from wanting to be with her again like last night, he'd forgot about most of that up until this point but there it was.

Eh... You wouldn't understand even if I could tell you, Kei said as he continued to finish off his eel.
Tsukiko slowly, awkwardly laid next to her sensei on her left shoulder so that she wouldn't cause herself too much discomfort. She checked to make sure that as much of her skin was covered before she settled into a comfortable position. "Anything else Soren-sensei?"

"Yeah." he muttered pulling the blankets up around them. "Stop being so hard on yourself. You'll end up hurting yourself worse than you actually are."
Yuri picked up the tray once the cat was finished. "Well Okay." She said smiling. "Would you like cream with that?"

Yuri placed a saucer of cream down in front of Kei and resumed scratching his ears. "It's so nice to have someone like you around." she mused happily.
Soren draped an arm gently over his student. "Don't be so embarassed." he muttered quietly. "You were just trying too hard is all."

"Maybe," Tsukiko whispered as she closed her eyes and moved slightly closer to her sensei. "Sensei? May I ask you a question?"
Kei shrugged and licked lightly at the cream, I don't know what I've done for you?

Soren nodded silently to his student as he listened to the rain outside.
Yuri continued to scratch the cats ears affectionately though clearly for some other reason as a person may have guessed.

Tsukiko yawned slightly before forcing herself to continue, "Why did... you and Doren-sensei... chose to... help me...?" She finally faded into the sleep that her body had been calling her to, just as she finished her last words.
Kei purred and rubbed against Yuri's hand as he took a break from the cream, I'll make myself sick if I don't slow down.

Soren didn't really know how to answer that immediately but he kissed behind her ear gently. "Because you seemed a lot like us..." he said gently and drifting off as well.

Kiko woke to the feeling of a warmth around her that she just wanted to curl up in and stay there but when the warmth moved slightly she bolted herself up right. When she came to her senses she noticed that she was laying in bed quite close to Soren and his arm was draped around her stomach, this caused her to scream in anger and pushed away from him. "Don't touch me!" Kiko landed on the ground next to the bed but quickly scrambled to stand up and over to where she sensed the door.

Soren blinked. "Ah... it's the spunky one." he muttered.
A foot came down on Kiko's back, pressing her into the ground firmly. "You're being extremely rude for just waking up." Doren said.

Kiko gasped for air for a second when it was forced from her lungs but then she quickly began to struggle under the foot, "Stop touching me! Get away! Don't touch me!"

Soren crawled out of bed and pushed his brothers foot aside who stepped back respectfully. "Kiko-Chan." he said gently taking her in his arms. He was far stronger than she was so it was no small feat. "Calm down."
