*Aimee studies her for a moment. When Cora's blank stare faces her, she laughs a little.* Haha, oh my God, I knew this guy from Canada who said it just like that. -He was Jewish.- He used to tell me that there were actually fifteen different uses of "eh?" One way meant it was making fun of someone. Another way meant that you were searching for some sort of affirmation. It could be the beginning of a sentence or the end of a sentence. It's all in the way that you use it. It's like - "Forgetaboutit" - except Canadian.
*Aimee waits for a reaction to any of the things she just said. She wrings out the paper towels (as much as one -can- wring out a paper towel) and starts to try to clean up the coffee stains.*

Exactly, eh? *Aimee laughs out loud, sprinkling droplets of water on them in the process, which really doesn't matter as they're working on getting the stain off Cora's shirt.*
So, man, you grew up with Luke. What was that like?

*.... Or at least, Luke -thought- he could hear them. He leans against the door, trying to listen. Just as he leans over, a freshman co-ed rounds the corner.*
*Upon seeing her, Luke bolts up and changes his position leaning against the side of the wall.*
*He clears his throat and gives her the Lucas Blaize special.* Hey...
*The co-ed arches an eyebrow and walks past him carefully.*
*Luke waits until she's down the hall and out of sight before leaning in again.*

Uuhhm... No... no, I didn't.
:::She laughs nervously:::
Uhm...
:::She kept glancing back at the door.... how in the world was she gonna get out of this?:::

Oh... *Aimee eyes her, but when Cora looks up, she quickly helps by saying.* Well, yeah, I guess that makes sense. I mean, it's not like you lived down the street. Living in Ontario, you probably didn't get to see much of each other, huh?

*Aimee notices that Cora is standing absolutely still as she helps her wash the shirt.... Kind of like a little kid would. Her hand brushes Cora's upper body.* Oops, don't mind the boobage. It's not a come on, I swear. I'm much more direct about that sort of thing.

*As Aimee washes the shirt, she can't help but notice.* You know that is soooo weird. I swear, I have this -exact- same shirt.

Goddammit.
*It's useless, Luke can't hear a ******** word they're saying. Trust Aimee to talk in a normal, quiet tone of voice the minute he needs her -not- to. He decides that it doesn't matter. It is way too quiet in there.*
HEY! *He bangs a fist on the door.* What's takin so long?? You guys havin' a sleep over?
*Luke smiled. Ha, he kinda hoped they were.*

::She hears Luke near by and almost squeels with reliefe:::
We'll be right there, Luke!
:::Then turning to Aimee:::
Really, I don't mind about this shirt. You don't need to concern yourself like this. Thank you for trying.
:::She smiles appologetically:::
Let's not keep him waiting.

Aw, you sure? It would only take a few more minutes.
*wink* Besides, it's kinda fun keeping him in suspense.
