Akira heard a soft rapping at the door. She set down the mug she had just located and left the kitchen. She unlocked the door and peeked out. There was Mikey. She swallowed a slight gasp, trying not to seem too obvious, and smiled, opening the door wider so he could enter.
"Morning, Mikey!"

Mikey smiled and let out a laugh as he entered and shut the door behind him as he said "Morning to you too.... but I must ask.... are you guys all deaf.... I was here like an hour ago..... but no one answered.... so I just left..."

"No... just sleeping." she answered, laughing lightly.
"I have some coffee going. Want some?" She headed back towards the kitchen, calling over her shoulder.

Mikey let his bag down off his shoulder and set it down beside his bedroom door, not bothering to put it inside. He walked toward the kitchen as he said "Yeah... sure...." he sat down at the table and smiled to Akira.

The coffee pot was nearly done, she poured two cups of black coffee and started pouring sugar and creamer in her own cup. She looked over at Mikey who was still sitting at the table.
"Boy, this ain't the Holiday Inn! Fix your own damn coffee!" She joked, smirking at him.

Mikey got up and walked over to the counter, as he did he said "Fine then..... but I drink it plain anyway..." he laughed and took a sip of his coffee as he walked back to his seat.

She went to the table and sat down across from him, sipping her coffee carefully, and trying not to make eye contact for fear of blushing too badly.

Mikey set his coffee down on the table and looked over to Akira as he said "Sooo..... Lena still upstairs asleep...."

Akira's eyes widened slightly.
"Oh... uh... actually... I think she got up before I did this morning... and went to see if Liam was awake..."
She wasn't a very good liar. The fact that the guy she'd had a crush on for years now was interrogating her wasn't helping matters.

"Well then.... they are deaf, since they can't answer the damn door..." he let out a sigh before taking another sip of his coffee

She stood up and walked over to the fridge looking for some breakfast.

Liam jerked awake, realizing he'd dozed off again. He glanced to the clock and sighed a yawn, nuzzling Lena. Do you hear voices? he asked, whispering near her.

Mikey took another sip of coffee before saying "Yeah... probably.... " he sighed

She pulled out a plain bagel and a small tub of blueberry cream cheese and grinned.
"Ahoy, matey! I have found the treasure!"
She proceeded to put the bagel into the toaster.

Lena giggled and said "I think you're hearing things.... Akira's the only other person here.... so unless she's talking to herself......" she paused a moment then said "I doubt it..." she smiled and kissed Liam's lips softly
Mikey let out a laugh before saying "Well..... I guess I'll go wake the lazy bums up..." he sat his coffee cup down and stood up
