When I first got my glasses at age 12, I would sit on the bus and take them on and off, saying "Now I'm smart," when they were on, and "Now I'm dumb," when they were off. All my non-glassesed friends got really offended. It was funny.

Oh hell yeah. I'm as blind as a bat without my glasses or contacts in. I can't even see 6 inches in front of me without them.

I've been wearing glasses for 17 years... I got them when I was two. It depresses me thinking about it. I don't even remember what it's like being able to see.
