"Ah!"she shouted from the water totally surprised. "You almost gave me a heart attack!"she said laughing slightly as she looked up to him. She looked at him lips and then leaned forward and takled him into the water with her, kissing him once she was underwater. ((sorry about this but i'll be back later, have to hang out with the family, i'll be back later tonight))

Kana looked around curiously. She hadn't been to the beach in a very long time. The salty smell in the air made her sneeze at first before she got used to it. Then she glanced back at him and nodded, smiling happily. "Yes!" she said excitedly as she stepped into the sand, feeling it between her toes. It felt odd but at the same time didn't bother her. Her eyes focused next upon the waves as they crashed to shore and she felt her ears flatten back against her head automatically. I really am crazy, she thought, recalling all her bad experiences with water, but she still made herself continue forward alongside Koichi.

Koichi laughed, hearing her excitment. He stopped, though, finding a shady area with a few rocks- big enough to sit on- under a few trees. "Seems like a good spot," he said, nodding towards it. After a moment, he was already there, having gone on by himself; he wasn't sure if she'd want to jump in the water first, or just continue, so he just left the decission up to her. After all, he figured, if she wanted to come to the shade, she'd come over, right? He placed his sandels down by the side of one of the rocks, before settling himself on the top of it, waiting to watch her next move.

Kana nodded at his comment, but stood still as he moved away. Her eyes went back towards the water, watching the waves crash into the shore. She shivered slightly, then rubbed at her arms a couple times. But soon another soothing wind blew past her and she smiled faintly before walking slowly after him, her movements hindered slightly as her feet sank into the sand. She finally reached him and put a hand out, touching the rock softly before leaning gently against it, eyes still upon the water.

Koichi seemed to smirk to himself, watching the nekogirl watching the waves. Save her, save her and be the knight which she'll love, the voice sang, becoming impatient with the pray. He inched closer to her, seeing as she wasn't to far, intending to talk. "Come on, Kitty, would you like to go in the water? You seem, after all, to be... intoxicated with it, so to speak," he whispered against her neck, not wanting to blow out her ear drums. Oh, nice word. Intoxicate. I love it.

Kana was so transfixed by the water, she didn't realize he was moving closer until he spoke. Then she jumped, shortly followed by a shiver as she felt his breath on her neck. She turned to face him, eyes slightly widened. "Um, o-ok..." she said softly, still a bit startled. She rubbed her neck softly then shifted so her back was pressed against the rock. After that she slipped out of her shorts and shirt and placed them in the bag he'd given her, careful not to disturb the locket. She kept her back pressed to the rock as well as she watched him, reluctant to show the scar there. She wasn't sure if he'd ask about it, but it seemed a likely thing for someone to question since it was so large.

Oh! That scar...it intreges me so! Ask about it, ASK ASK ASK! Koichi smiled at her, removing his shirt as well. He had, like the voice said, seen the scar, but didn't make any signs of it; he'd seen many scars like it before, and he knew she probably didn't want to talk about it. Instead, he decided, he'd wait for her to explain it to him one day. YOU FOOL! You're supposed to make her feel uncomfortable by asking about it, then comfort her! Have I taught you nothing?! He suddenly jolted foward, starting at a run to the water, before he dove in. He came back up and shook his head, causing his hair to wave around before sticking to the back of his head. "Come on in! The waters great!" he laughed.

Kana watched the sand as her feet sunk slightly into it but raised her head again sharply as he suddenly dashed off towards the water. She watched as he entered and smiled as he called out. Then she nodded and slowly started forward, pausing catiously at the water's edge, just out of the wave's range. She wasn't very sure of this. The beach had currents, didn't it? Wasn't it likely she'd be swept away? She shook her head quickly, banishing those thoughts. No, he said he'd help, she told herself as she slowly took a step forward. The hair on her tail seemed to rise slightly as the water washed around her feet and she felt her eyes widen before taking a deep breath and taking another step in. She paused far enough that the water was washing around her knees.

Koichi smiled softly before he started up, towards her. He fumbled a few times, the waves crashing into him almost knocking him backwards; he must have looked like an idiot, waving his arms around like that. Finally, though, he made it to her, to which he walked around to her back and placed his hands, palm up, under hers as though he was about to escort her once again, but this time onto a dance floor. "Come now, I said I'd help, didn't I?" he smiled, although wasn't sure if she could even see it. Trickery, you little devil. I love the way you think; although, it's the way I think... so I love the way WE think! YEAH! THAT'S IT!

Kana's eyes shifted towards him as he looked like he was trying to approach, though he seemed to be having difficulty moving against the waves. She bit her lip nervously. If he was having trouble, what chance did she have? He was a lot bigger than her. Her head tilted curiously though, as he finally arrived and moved behind her and she blinked as she felt him take her hands. She remained still for a moment and then slowly nodded her head. "Yes, you did," she said quietly. She twisted around slightly so she could see him, her ears drooping slightly with worry.

Koichi blinked a few times. "What's wrong, Kitty?" he asked, seeing the worried look. CRAP! What'd we screw up on this time? EH!? I blame you! It's your fault, the voice said, throwing excuses out at Koichi. He pushed the thoughts away before brushing her ear gently with his index finger like he had done earlier. "You can trust me, you know," he continued, wondering if it was that fact that seemed to trouble her. What did you do?! the voice pressed on, seemingly pounding on the boy, with that body that didn't exist but was just a.. spirit, to say the least if at all.

Kana shook her head slowly. "It's... nothing," she said quietly and then tried to change the subject. "Are we going in?" She put on a perfect act of eagerness. It was partly true... She was curious about ocean water but she really was very nervous. There was another thing worrying her too though. She couldn't help recalling how when she'd first met him, he'd simply spoken coldly or yelled and she'd gotten the feeling then he was going to hit her. It felt odd now that he was acting so nice. She tried to ignore it though, still clinging to that 'he was just depressed' excuse to justify what he'd done.

Koichi nodded, before stepping back in front of her, still holding her hand in his. He was a few steps in front of her, slowly leading her in; if it was too fast, he could guess she'd tell him. "Don't worry, I'm here," he said reasuringly, slowly inching back into the water. It seemed to rise on him, as he continued to get deeper, the sand under his feet sucking him in at least a few centemeters before he took it out and continued on back. I like this girl... she seems to know who to trust even though she shouldn't, the voice mocked, laughing softly.

[Ok, that's what she keeps telling herself. xP There's also the music though, which I forgot about until just now. xD;;]
Kana turned back to face forward, eyes following him as he moved in front of her. She didn't start moving until she felt the tug on her hand and knew she'd fall if she didn't. So she took a deep breath and began inching forward after him, feeling the sand sucking her feet in it. She bit her lip, not liking this new experience very much. But she continued to follow him, her hold gradually tightening upon his hand the further they went in. She'd lose her footing a lot sooner than he would, base on their height difference. He was about half a foot taller than her and she was well aware of this, recalling how small she'd felt between the two guys back at the dorm.

Koichi eventually stopped, the water just slightly above his waist. "Is that good?" he asked, knowing she was slightly on edge about this. If she falls, you can always rescue her... she'll love you for that! the voice laughed. The waves, where they stood, weren't that high nor that strong; it was pretty calm, actually. He wondered, though, if she really did trust him; she was still acting so tense, no matter what it was he said. He would have gone into her head, but he knew that would screw up his plans faster than it ever should.
