Yes, chicken races. Simple relay races where the kids pass off chickens instead of batons.

Rubber chickens that squeaked...made me think they were dog toys. Anyways, 7th/8th grade girls p.e. was actually fun to teach...6th grade health was okay...My favourite two "trouble makers" were in one of the classes. They're not really trouble makers, they just like to talk. I think they may be attention starved.

Basically, I am in a sense. I had them last year when they were in a fifth grade spec. ed. class. I have been busy between subbing and Waldens. Jodie and I got our costumes today and we wore them to Waldenbooks! Jerri thought we were weird, Greg laughed, and Nancy thought we were cute. Oh and good news! Jenna, Slashie is hooked on Hikaru no Go to the point where she bought the last four volumes out.

best thing ever!! i have a wallpaper of akira and hikaru ~_^ i love the fact that they age in the manga. cause it's so rare for a shonen manga to do that. usually they're the same age forever, but not this one! i love love love love it. although i do believe akira needs a haircut >,< it took a while to convince me he wasnt going to be randomly a girl.

Yes! Totally the best background, ever. I was originally going to try for a Sai one, but the picture of Akira totally jumped at me and wouldn't let go until I placed it up. hehe.
That's totally the best part. I rather enjoy watching them mature so far as they grow up. (I'm still not convinced that someone isn't going to randomly go "i have boobs! Surprise!". Maybe that'll be for Halloween...)

hehehehe >,< pobre akira. i actually read the manga online before it was licensed, and i read to a point where something like huge happens. then the translator people were like 'it's been licensed we're dropping it!' and iw as like 'nnnooo!!!' cause it was like extremely huge what happened. and they had recently announced that the manga had ended in japan. so i figured out where i was when the huge thing happened and we're like 7 volumes behind it now hehehehe >,< so i'm waiting patiently for the manga here to catch up. but from there i have no idea whats going on! so i'm super excited.
