Reaper slyly grinned at Amnity before handing control back to Wolf. Wolf let out a breath as he climbed up on top of the torch. "I made it...?" He looked around, at the city and cold black of night. "I made it!" Wolf had to keep his arms outstretched to keep himself from losing his balance. "Whooa...this really is high once you think about it." He turned entirely human and crouched down. "So...I hope this pays off..." Wolf said, panting. He smiled through it all though.

Mephlius looked at Wolf strangely. "Um... did you just figure it out twice?"
Karen crossed fourth... ... Quickly followed by Felicia. Walter and Richard both dove, and landed at the torch at the same time. "Ha! I beat you!" "Yeah, right... I totally got here first, Wat. Mephlius can vouch for me." He turned to look at MEphlius. "I vote... it doesn't matter. Me and Am won."

Amnity felt that a good gloating was in order. "The younger, faster, stronger lycans won." She grinned. "I want all the losers to repeat that word for word...Please? It will satisfy my ego."

Amnity hung her head, looking sad as she bit her lip to hold back a grin. "He's right Mephlius...That was uncalled for...I'm sorry Mr. Falke. I shouldn't have been gloating." She looked over to Mephlius. "It was my fault, really, I was childish and I got over competative." But her eyes really read 'Someone's a sore loser, let me gloat some more.'

Mephlius grinned. "It's okay, Am. I forgive you. In fact... I'd forgive you mroe if you'd keep up the goating. It's good for my ego, too." He looked over at Karen. "You won. No challenge here." He turned to Richard. In response, he pointed at Karen with one thumb, as if to say "what she said". "You guys cheated. Richard tried to kill me!" "Oh, shut up. I knew you could climb it on your own, and that Felicia could catch you. If she hadn't, I would have gone back for you myself."

Wolf watched the argument, smiling. However, inside, he was yelling. What the hell Reaper!?What?I did nothing wrong...Taking control of my body and forcing me to take that extra mile? My personality must be washing over yours...Yeah but you have to admit...it was kind of cool.True.. Wolf ended his mental argument with Reaper, and continued listening to the one going on with Mephlius' family. He had a distant look in his eyes.

His eyes widened. "Knives?" "Yeah... I thought I'd give it a creative twist. They weren't silver knives or anything..." "Well, yeah... but still..." Mephlius turned to face Amnity. "He did that exercise with me when I was in my teen years, to help me learn control. I thought I'd pass on the knowledge." I really do need to get that wall repaired... Or do I? Nah, I'll keep it destroyed.

Amnity smiled at Mephlius. "He threw a knife straight at my head the moment I stepped into the kitchen." She shrugged. "I threw it back, and there was this whole knife throwing ordeal to see who can get to the bacon." She looked over to his relatives, then back over to Mephlius and whispered. "Is that not normal?"
