*Kaiori let out a groan at being moved and let Silence drop to the ground with a clatter, her eyes slightly dazed looking, looked at him, blood dripping down her side and a hand inside of her..she wasn't holding up well*

Axl: b*****d! Let her go ya creep!! *He moves forward, and as he does he kicks the fallen Silence toward the man's side before going around the same direction, only in a wider arc as to get behind the man. Once there he aims to hack off the mans entire arm and shoulder with an overhead slash*

*Feeling nice he knocked the blade silence away from Kai and into the dirt.He held her up in front of him,turning with the man as he arced.Thus,He'd have no clear shot without potentially hurting Kai*

Axl: Crap! *He lets go of the scythe accidentally in surprise and the scythe goes over Soul's shoulder instead* hmm? ah! *He quickly capitalizes on his error and yanks on the chain, which was resting over Soul's shoulder, and tries to pull the blade in a way that it would tear his arm off from the back*

*He had two choices,let the thing go through him and potentially hurt kai,or take the hit.He decides on the latter,the blade of the scythe tearing through his cloak but slipping off his bones as though they were made of metal.His eyes glow brighter as he attempts to stop softly pulling,and just yanks at Kai's soul.Trying to get it out.*

((Makes no difference,His bones are made of a special metal.At most you'll just burn away more of the cloak,or burn at Kai in the process.And it's not quite metal that he's made of either.Beating him requires more strength based hits then blades.))

*kaiori screams and slumps forwards, her soul stripped from her body, at first its almost blinding as it forms from her body but then it dims, as soon as its fully out it starts to zip around blindly*

((Well it's not exactly normal fire or metal on the weapon either but whatever))
Axl: *growls* LEAVE HER ALONE!! *Axl, now thoroughly pissed by Soul's misplaced strategy of stealing Kai's soul, lunges forward and tries to wrap his arms around Kai and pull her away from the man. He also has a secondary plan for this if he needs it*

*Tosses the body at the man without care and follows after the soul at blinding speed.Outstretching a hand he puts forth a weblike net of energy made for catching souls and the like,it would be invisible to all except those hwo knew of such things.He continued to follow the soul,trying to pull in into the prison of his ribcage.*

*the soul stops slightly and shoots up through the trees, it comes down again softly next to Axl, it wirled in circles unable to keep still*
