You can't run out of sith with Ferno on the job.
If I have to, I can roleplay the entire sith faction. At least, the members which I like.

Nihl's just stupid, IMO, and wryylock doesn't really do much.
I actually think Oryo could pull of Nihl like no problem. I mean, Nihl is Oryo. Period.
Ferno is more like Talon for his predicament, Malady for his composure, but unlike both for his view actual fighting.

Well, Talon and Nihl are Krayt's "two hands".
Talon's the assassin, Nihl the power. Since Ferno is much closer to Talon in artform and study, he's not like Nihl.
I like to say that Nihl is the Brute force, whereas Ferno is Finesse.

The Jedi order is still in tact.
Most of the members were slain, and the ossus massacre made them spread to all reaches of the galaxy, but you still are part of the jedi order.
You are hunted by the sith, as you are the last remaining obstacle. But you're disbanded enough to make sure the securing of the empire is possible.
That does not mean you cannot rally; no, that's very possible. you are too weak to stand on your own, however. The problem is that the Jedi are somewhat shunned (until krayt seizes power) because you sided with the vong, who nearly half the galaxy still feels strong malice to. After the fall of coruscant, however, public opinion will start to change, albiet slowly.

I think Nihl would be better, and just puppet Krayt as we need for dialogue.
I don't think you're into sitting on a throne all day in healing trances to keep yourself alive much.
If you were nihl, you're the brute force of Krayt, and you're automatically one of his "hands", which means you answer only to him anyway. You'd have the same amount of control over things as if you were Krayt himself, for the most part, and unless you really want to have Ferno as a servant, the roles are pretty much concurrent.
