And now... it's time to say... HAPPY NEW YEAR! I mean really, in a couple of days, we'll be in 2007.
Did you hear about that theory about the world ending in 2011 because a wave of electrons from the sun is going to disrupt that eletronic systems of the world and we probably won't be able to survive because of our dependence on electronics?
Just asking.
(On a sidenote, stupid LJ's not WORKING! How am I supposed to tell the world I updated my SasuSaku fanfic!?)

.. Thanks, Tenshi. Now I'm freaking out.. >< I get scared really easily when it comes to 'end of the world' talk.
And also.. I heard the world would end December 21, 2012, because that's when.. some calender thing ends. gonk
I personally don't know what to believe. Meteorologists hardly ever get the weather for the next day right; what makes you think scientists or whoever can predict a wave of electrons disrupting electronic systems four years from now?
And even if they could, I doubt they would let the news become public. =_=

I never heard of those theories. I've only heard of the one where scientists believe that an asteroid will crash into the earth and will cause the world to end. If I remember correctly, they believe it would happen around the year 2026.. or 2028? The first time I heard about it, I started sobbing and couldn't eat for days. I get so scared about the end of the world too. ._.; Hopefully these theories will end up false.
Does anyone remember about the Y2K problem? Where almost everyone thought computers couldn't recongize the year 2000.. or something like that? I kinda do. x_x

The Y2K scare was so silly. rofl
And I never really buy the 'end of the world theories.' Really the only issue I'm concerned about at the moment is global warming. That has the potential to produce some unpleasant effects.

I was only nine-years-old when Y2K happened, so of course it scared me. But now I look back on it and laugh.

I never really understood the Y2K scare because I was also 9, but a little n00bish about computers in general. As for the end-of-the-world theories, I've resigned to the fact I am going to die any day now, electron-freaking or not.
I graduate in 2 months and 27 days. (My high school grad's on March 28.) blaugh Yuss.

As for the world ending thing, I'm not really worried about it. As long as I die after I'm 21, I'm good.
Those theories are probably as trustworthy as Miss Cleo anyways.
Oh yes, I'm graduating in six months too! We're going to be free!
