She was pretty sure that he didn't understand her. So she walked over and pointed to the saddle and then herself. And then made a kind of up motion with her body, curling her hands over hte top of the saddle. Then she offered the jerky to him again.

"Ge-off-fray.." she said with a nod.
"Yea, like a wolf only, bigger and furrier." He looked to Molimo as the bear pawed at the mare's face. "He shouldn't hurt you. He's still a child I think."

He scratched his head again, thoroughly confused at this point. The native wanted to trade her meat for his saddle??.. That wouldn't do; for he would likely need it later. He really wasn't sure what to think, feeling just as puzzled by her motions as he was certain the natives were with his own. Perhaps she was trying to make a point of it?..
His mare was a bit more perceptive than he was, thankfully. She looked at the girl and bent her legs as she had done when her mistress was first learning, lowering her body to make it easy for the inexperienced young rider to mount. She looked back at Eachann with a grin as Geoff looked on, still confused as ever. What a silly human.
"Well, that's good. At least it's a baby.." Her expression went blank. What in the world was a wolf? "Wait, a bigger what?"

Summer Jessamin caught on that the horse knew what the indian wanted. She also realized she was being given permission. So she hopped on, slightly more gracefully this time. She had already figured out that one is supposed to fit on the hard leather facing the same way as the horse. She put one foot on one side, and then the other foot on the other side. She still was sitting too far forward in the saddle, because she was holding the horses's hair instead of reins.

Moema giggled again at the poor man's confusion. She knew if Eachann had just lowered himself to let someone else ride him would absolutely drive her crazy with confusion.
"Errr, a wolf is like.... a fox only bigger. And a bear is like a wolf only bigger when grown and it's tail is shorter." Then he looked at her confused. He'd never let any one besides maybe Moema ride him. "What are you doing?"

Geoff looked at Lady and her new friend with brow quirked quizzically, his hand laying against his jaw. Obviously the act had become instinct to the animal after all of this time, or perhaps she was just desperate for someone to ride her after so long in the ship's hold. He tried not to appear too surprised with his own horse's actions.
Lady winced a bit as the girl took hold of her mane, but after years of giving pony-rides to a small child, she had become used to it. She whipper her head back, tossing the reins towards the human mounted on her.
The palomino mare blinked again. "Well now, I don't know what that means at all," she responded with a sheepish grin. She tilted her head to the side at his question, her behaviour like a second nature to her, so much that she didn't even question it. "What do you mean?"
((EDIT: Okay, it's 12:55 and I'm supposed to be in bed by 1am, xD;;.. So I think I'm heading out for the night.))

Summer Jessamin was slapped by the reins when the horse flicked it's head. Instinctivly, she grabbed them. This upset her pin-head balance, and she fell back into the back of the saddle. She then realized from this position it was easier to put her feet in those loops the other pale-face got her tangled in. Looking around, she realized she had done it right. although... now what was she supposed to do?

Moema looked at the mre uncertainly. She tapped Geoffrey on the shoulder, pointed to her horse, said, "Eachann," Then pointed to his Soquili.
He grinned at the mare's unknowing, deciding to dismiss the thought. "It's just...I've..I've never seen a Soquili let someone who wasn't their companion ride them. Come to think of it, I barely see Soquilis let anyone ride them..."

Geoff continued watching his mare's antics, until his attention was diverted by the other native. He smiled, and pointed to his mount as well. "Lady."
Lady didn't wait for the two-legger to give her orders; she decided that if the two-legger wished to stop, she would inform her in some way. So, she took off on her own in a slow trot, circling the area. She moved her head to keep an eye on Eachann as she walked, as to make sure he hadn't thought she'd been so rude as to abandon the conversation. "Why not?... What do you do if you don't let humans ride you?.." She paused. "Or is your purpose solely to carry their things for them?"
After a few minutes, Geoff looked up to the darkening sky. He moved over to Lady and grabbed hold of her bridle, gently slowing her from her walk. "Time to go, girl."
He looked to the two natives and then back towards the settler camp, where many had already gone. "I'm afraid I need to catch up with my friends before I become too lost."
Lady bent down again, this time to allow Summer to dismount. Once her saddle was clear, Geoff mounted and waved before leading her back towards the camp. "Goodbye!"
Lady tossed a glance back at Eachann. "It was nice meeting you.."
((Okay, I'm out. ::waves::.. I'll check back here tomorrow to see what's happening. <3))

Summer Jessamin had so much fun on that horse. It was a very bouncy, but even more exciting adventure. She realized she had to go back to her teepee now and eat with her sister before bed. However, she was very content with her new friend and hoped she'd get to see them agian tomorrow...

'Lovely name,' she thought. 'I'd never pick it, but she's not mine.'
"Well some of use let humans ride us, but there's some story about us being partially sacred or something. Especially the Unicorns and the Kalonas and all them. I'd love to see one of your kind try to ride a Kalona." He watched her move around in a circle. "Some times we don't even meet a two-legger and we're free to do what ever we want."
Moema waved good-bye to the man. He certainly was very interesting. She then turned to the trees to return home.
"Yes, quite a wonderful chat. I'll be seeing you around hopefully then?" he said with a chuckle as they walked away. He entered the woods behind Moema and Streak, Molimo rushing along behind them.

Siryn Tigera decided to remain in the forest as the pale settlers approached the tribe. She chews on her plump lower lip nervously while she presses her entire body against the tree in order to make herself "disappear" from the view. She takes in deep breath as she watches the pale faced people attempting to interact with people from her tribe. "Muh.." She mumbles to herself as she swiftly shfits from one tree to other, soundlessly moving closer to the tribe. She eyes the trapped soquilis and frowns slightly to herself.
