Amelia had plopped down next to her friends, but had no time to chat. She was too entranced with what was going on on the Arena floor. She still had not picked the type of magic she preferred, and she thought this battle might give her an idea of what would work best for her. They'd also not yet attended magic class yet, which she knew would be coming soon with Profesora Bellona. She'd decide then, she assumed, knowing that she wanted to learn about all types of magic before choosing the one that best suited her.

Before she'd arrived, she assumed this battle was done physically. But she was more than amazed as the pair whipped out spells, castor shells, abberations and golems. This was REAL fighting, she thought, not saying it aloud, as she was sure there were others around -- Kallisto for example -- who enjoyed physical sparring. Amelia was too weak for such things, but magic...that's where it was at for the young Phlegmatic.

Blayk watched in awe as the scene unfolding before her. Never mind that the two were lovers, and that this whole spectacle was happening simply because neither of them were adult enough to actually talk about their problems. No, no. That no longer mattered. What mattered, at least to Blayk, was that she was lucky enough to witness such an impressive battle. Oh, how she wished to become that powerful...

Antigone wiggled her fingers in Ubel's hand to get his attention. "Neh, Ube... They're Melancholy Academics- just like you." Turning a bit, she blinked her golden eyes slowly at him, studying his slender frame. "Do you want to be like that? All powerful, I mean," she added with a quick grin. "Not settling lover's spats in the arena rather than in the bedroom- or some other place equally as private."

Cashimer swallowed, the action nearly audible as he watched the fight. But his mind, it seemed was wandering, just a bit... Elias and Dameron were breathtaking to behold, displaying such awesome power. But the Phlegm's mind was on something a little more dear to him- Lior. It was... well, it was wonderful, to sit next to him like this, to have the attractive Sanguine clinging to his hand.

Ubel watched on in fascination, unable, unwilling, hardly even willing to consider looking away. But when Antigone's fingers wiggled in his hand, his attention was drawn to her and he blinked once, before looking down at himself. "If I could manage to become that powerful," he murmured, then flashed a grin up at his friend. "I would love it. I want to be like that... Calm, controlled, knowing what I'm doing... and having that much ability. It would be wonderful. You're an Academic too, Anti... would you like to be strong like that?"

Lior tightened his fingers around Ubel's hand, a laugh of delight coming from him as the battle continued to escalate. "Cash, isn't this amazing? I'm so glad I came along to this," he said then, words a bit quick and almost sounding breathless, the Sanguine's cheeks flushed with his excitement.

Antigone laughed, shaking her head. "I'm not entirely sure... Perhaps. But, I'm too rash right now for such a responsibility. I mean... Just look at them, Ubel. They wear power like a second skin. Could you imagine me- who walked out of Law Class, knowing the consequences- with such abilities? Nah, I don't think so. I'll just stick to my studies, and see where they take me."

Cash laughed, holding onto to Lior, his blue-tinged fingers a great contrast the dusky gold of the Sanguine's skin tone. "Amazing, yes... Such grace and control... Deadly, too. A deadly game they could be playing here. I'm glad you came along as well," he said with a laugh, green eyes sliding from the fight to Lior, and then back to the fight.

"Antigone, if you were rash, you would have walked out of Law Class without knowing the consequences. You walked out knowing and are opinionated, free-thinking, and open. You're bold and strong already, Anti," replied Ubel, smiling warmly at the female Sanguine and squeezing her hand gently. "I know you could handle such a responsibility, should the time come for you to."

Lior purred happily as he held onto Cash's hand, both from the fight... and from the feel of the other's cool skin against his warm, loving having Cash at his side - the Phlegm was just too much fun to be around. "I'm glad we're here together," he said, smiling warmly at the other, before looking back at the fight.

The young female Sanguine laughed, shaking her head at Ubel's words. "I'm hardly any of those things. Just a silly girl with silly notions- silly notions I won't apologize for, though. At any rate, I think I'd like become a hunter, or something like that... Outwitting monsters and the like, getting to move around and be active. That would suit me, I think."

"Neh, me too," he responded, bumping his shoulder against Lior's in a friendly manner. "I still think that you were wrong to be pick Elias, of course. Dameron seems to have more invested into this fight than he does... Giving him more of a reason to win. But, of course, I could be wrong. Most likely am."

"It would suit you... I can see you getting along well with Lelaus," replied Ubel, smiling happily and kissing Antigone's cheek. "I myself... I think I want to be like them. Grigori. Protector. Or something like that... I haven't really yet decided what would suit me best..."

"Ah, don't think like that! And keep in mind, we're betting on people with minds, so this event could take any sort of twist or turn. At this point in time, we're both right and we're both wrong," replied Lior, smiling happily at the other.

"We've both plenty of time to figure it all out, methinks," Antigone said with that trademark grin of hers. "Me more than most." Wiggling her fingers, she settled back into her seat again, nodding faintly to herself. "I could see you out there, Ubel, defending and entertaining, as these two are doing... You and Grave have the same goal, it seems."

"You're just saying that because you don't want to loose the bet," Cash teased with a grin. "You want Elias to win just so you can kiss me," he said then with an airy tone, puffing up his chest to preen a bit, that playful look in his soft green eyes.

"Do we?" asked Ubel, his smile fading a little, before he chuckled quietly and shrugged. "Perhaps he and I will end up working together, then. We can't really tell where our lives will go at this point in time... we just have to wait and see."

"I'm not going to lie, so, yes," replied Lior softly, an impish smile appearing on his lips and his free hand lifting to stroke lightly at the other's cheek, before he settled in his seat again, looking quite pleased with himself.

Antigone frowned a bit, tilting her head to one side to look at her friend with concern. "Neh, that's melancholy talk, even for one of such an alignment." She reached up to brush at a bead strand in his hair. "You okay, 'Bel?" she asked softly, her voice full of the concern in her eyes.

Cash blinked soft green eyes once, twice, three times at Lior's comments, and fought valiantly- and won, mostly- to keep a blush from rising on his pale blue cheeks. "Neh, Lior~" he whined out, seeking to keep his playful mood. "You shouldn't say such things~"

Ubel looked over at Antigone, before smiling crookedly and shrugging. "I'm just being... bitter, I suppose. I haven't had the chance to spend time with only Grave in... quite a while. I just miss him, is all." He patted her cheek gently, smile becoming just a bit stronger. "I'll be all right, though, don't worry."

"But, Cashimer, darling... I would think that I should not say such things if they are untrue," replied Lior, slipping into his charming mode and leaning close to the other, stroking his jawline lightly. "I should say such things if they are true, correct?"

Antigone tilted her head to one side, studying the other quietly, before patting his cheek softly. "That's not being bitter, you silly goose. I know you're not that passive- smack some sense into Grave and demand alone time. It's you're right, dear." She smiled, and took Ubel's hand again with her own. "I bet he misses you more than you think."

Cash shivered just a bit at that touch, despite the warmth of the weather around him. "You should not say such things with the intent to make me uncomfortable," he said with a laugh, sticking out his tongue. It was safer, to be playful in return... Giving into the blush would only give Lior more reason to tease him...

Ubel squirmed a little as he was studied, before relaxing once more as Antigone spoke, smiling softly as he curled his fingers with hers. "We'll see... if I get a chance to talk to him, I'll let him know I want some time. For now, let's just focus on this fantastical battle, eh?"

Lior smiled warmly and purred at the other, leaning just a little closer. "I don't mean to make you uncomfortable at all, little Cashimer," he murmured, smiling still and chuckling, trailing his fingertips over the other's lips. "I'm simply telling you that I really hope I win."
