"I was sent for medical therapy. Seems there's quite a few invented stories to get people in..."
She went sillent for a moment. It did sound like fun, even if she was probably going to make an idiot out of herself. "Well, at least im close enough that I will probably catch you if you fall..."

"I've heard people coming to interview the doctors, looking for long lost siblings, all sorts of stuff."
Shenzi smiled encouragingly, her smile making her face prettier then the frown. "That's true too. But it'll be fun." She looked back at the TV; the music had continued going while they spoke, and right now it was playing an older song, "Get Busy" by Sean Paul. "This is a good song to dance to." Shenzi grinned again, standing up from the chair while pushing it out've the way.

Kim wasn't really familliar with the song, but she had to agree. "Does sounds like it..." She started clearing out things herself, oddly finding herself looking forward to this little dance lesson. As long as no one else saw this.

Moving the chairs nearest the TV, Shenzi leaned against the back of one, so she could move without necassarily falling over. "Okay. First off, you let your body just kinda move to the music. Just do what seems to go with the melody, or follow what I do. I'll go slow, so it won't be hard." She said with a friendly grin as she started moving her hips, her arms in front of her. She moved her hips from side to side, giving them a small twitch for each word the rapper sang.

Kim simpely watched for a moment. If moving the feet where involved, maybe it would have bean easier since she could just fall back on the basics DDR had given her. Her movements where slower then Shenzi's, and overall a bit more reserved. She focused on following the girl's lead for the moment.

"Yeah, just like that. Do that till it feels natural, or easier at least. Usually, wearing well fitting clothes helps too, especially if you want a guy or girl to notice you." She said, grinning at Kim. "This song is better for quick movements, alot've a** shaking. Other ones are better for slow stuff, more sexy stuff."

Now, this wasn't exactly what she had been expecting, and in any other situation, she would probably found the irony funny.
She was being taught how to attract by a girl almost 5 years younger than she was. But there was nothing she could really answer to that. She didn't really know how to physically attract another person. Her only attempt had ended in failure and she had no desire to ever try again. But it was another time, almost eons ago, in a state she would never go back to, to a best friend she would never see again. She felt... oddly detached.
"Right." She said softly, then closed her eyes, listening to the music. Move, follow the beat... Listen to what the beat is saying, project it on yourself...
Just as she was no longer paying attention to her movements was when everything chained together. Her feet vent into motions as she continued moving her hips, twiling around without really noticing it.

Shenzi stopped moving as Kim shut her eyes, spinning to the music. Grinning, she pushed herself onto the arm of the chair, watching Kim twirl. She really was quite pretty, and her hair flipping about made for a nice picture. Tilting her head to the side, Shenzi occasionally made an encouraging comment, as the music changed to a different song, one she hadn't heard before, but it had a slower melody.

If she was hearing them, Kim wasn't giving too much hint of it, beside the continued dancing. As the music slowed, so she did instinctively, opening her eyes again. Was it... why all those people liked dancing ? It really did feel nice... And liberating, really.
When she realized she was the only one dancing, however, that's when the corkblock happened. Her face went from green-ish to a somewhat red color as she stopped, tilting her head in a bit of embarrassment. "Uh... was that good... ?"

[New RP]
Gaius shifted restlessly on the couch. It was impossible to get comfortable - if he wasn't crunching the bony length of tail hidden under the wirey black hair, one or both of his proto-wings were pinned awkwardly against the back cushions. He finally had to settle with resting one arm back over the couch, sitting in a slightly side-ways angle, and had to shift periodically as one wing caught behind him fell asleep.
One screen, James Bond duked it out atop a train, as heroic and dashing as ever, but Gaius' mind was on other things. It'd been a day, more, and the tools were still missing and everything locked away. When was Sabin going to give them back? Surely the apology would have been enough...
So distracted was the pegasus-man, he didn't notice when Vixen, in boredom, began nosing through the collection of movies, occasionally stopping to paw at a couple, and succeeded in spilling a number of them onto the floor.

Crawling was steadily becoming easier for Victor, it wasn't certainly a fact he was entirely proud of, it still was very strange and demoralizing that he had to crawl like a lizard in order to move. But that was the hard truth of it, he was becoming a lizard of some unnatural kind, and he had to try and learn to make use of all his limbs if he was going to manage living day-to-day on the island.
Victor stopped outside of the entertainment room, it was one of the few places he hadn't been in the village yet, he had also seen the Bat-man, Tommy, just outside of the place but never did go in to look for himself what was there, maybe there was a book or something he could grab from the shelf. After approaching the door, Victor had gotten used to having to rear himself up, balancing his weight on his tail and next to the door, while he worked the doorknob with his chest arms, using them was still difficult, but the small more humanlike hands managed to turn the knob, and crack open the door. With his forelimb, Victor was able to pull the door open and slide down and inside the entertainment room, using a leg to kick it further open while he scuttled inside so his tail wouldn't get caught again. He noticed the TV was on and playing...a james bond movie? someone else must be there.
"Hello? anyone in here?"

Vixen was first to notice their company, looking up from the movie case she was having fun batting around the floor. At the sight of Victor, her ears first flicked back, tail lowering in uncertainty, but a whiff of the guy brought back her confidence, though she didn't move closer to him. Instead, she went around the couch to bump her wet nose against the underside of one of Gaius' long feet.
The horse-man was jolted from his worries by the sudden coldness. "Eyagh!"he cried, jerking up in his seat. Wings flared, he glowered down at the dog, about to say something, but noticed there was a draft, and the sound of someone else in the room. The voice sounded vaguely familiar, but he couldn't place it.
"Yeah? Just me here..." he called over his shoulder, eyes drifting back to the movie.

Victor realized who it was after seeing the dog, and the wings that Gaius spread out after getting cold-nosed by Vixen. Victor wasn't quite sure if it was the best idea to stay... considering how Gaius reacted last time to seeing him.
The lizardman moved closer to the side of the couch, so that he could speak to the Horse man, and that Gaius could see him, if he wanted to.
"Hey there Gaiuss....itss Victor"

Gaius finally turned away from the movie, casting a casual look back over his shoulder, and froze, staring. There, just like that nightmarish evening, sat Victor, propped up on his four natural limbs, the extras all curled around.
This time, though, the sudden shock was less, as he'd already seen the man-thing before, and the room was well-lit and in a public place. It was the difference between encountering a bogeyman in your room at night and walking down the street on a sunny day. Still unnerving, but not to the same degree.
Still, that didn't stop Gaius from staring. It was several moments before Gaius found his voice, which came out in a high, nervous pitch despite his attempt to sound casual.
"H-Hi Victor... what brings you to th-this neck of the woods?"

Victor watched Gaius stare back at him for a short while before starting to shuffle himself around the back of the horse man's couch, before moving to the couch next to Gaius' and then with some effort, climbed onto it, facing the horseman, having to lay out on his belly, looking between the movie and Gaius. The staring didn't bother himself so much, but he was bothered by the nervious tone in the horse-man's voice.
"I wassss going to look for a book to read or maybe watch a movie. I hadn't been in here yet, it looksss nicsse" Victor told the other man, his tail flicking back and forth as it hanged off the end of the couch.
"You ssshouldn't be worried Gaiuss, I'm not going to bite you or anything like that"
