Durza the Shade Silver Gryphon Durza the Shade poof312 Cheese! that's my most used quote besides Red vs blue's funniest character said: "Timeline?! Time is not made out of lines... it is made out of circles! That's why clocks are ROUND!" Actually, both is correct. Time marches on, but history repeats itself. Time is a spiral. I don't suppose you've ever read the "Dinotopia" books? I have, actually. It's true, too. And if you'll allow me to wax introspective for a moment . . . I just realized that the Dinotopian way of measuring time, by marking important events, is more complicated than our numerical method, but it's a daily reminder that the world does not revolve around you - when your day is measured by what time the ceratopsians are supposed to hatch, you know that while your life goes on, it's not the only important thing in the world. Ahem, now that my deep thinking is over, back to the nonsense! biggrin I loved those books. (Well, "Dinotopia" and "The World Beneath." There are others but I never read them) Original stories, and the illustrations were excellent. I loved the original style that was in everything; James Gurney did a great job of inventing a culture.

I read those. I never read the third giant illustrated book, but I did read several of the smaller novels, which weren't bad either. I especially liked Lost City.

iOggy *plots a way to get to Dinotopia so he can steal one of their exceedingly cool clocks* We should make one of our own, and fill it with all our band schedules, as well as things like "DCI finals today" and "James Galway in concert."
