Rivven pushed open the front door, holding it open until Chantico passed through and then taking the lead again. "They're in the bedroom. I don't know anything about... this, but I think we should hurry." he said, speeding up his step a little more somehow to match, a last burst of speed up to the room.

Whatever had happened in the time he was gone, Rivven had gone as quickly as he could by foot, and come as quickly as Chantico could. He opened the door and left it open, walking a straight line to Morgan regardless of what was going on, unless the doctor was to stop him for some reason, to take one of her hands with both of his and simply stand beside for the time being.

Kia felt......like he was on a trip, but not the kind he was used to. He barely knew what was happening with the vampire, but he had never seen Chanti that scared in his life before. But he couldn't really feel much of anything right now, least of all emotions.

So they were going to the castle...wait, they were at the castle. Wierd.

As soon as Rivven opened the door, Morgan's voice greeted him. Well, not exactly greeted him:

"Te odeo! Interfice te cochleare!"

she screamed at Aes, followed by a tortured cry.

"Quando podeces te regi eorum fecerunt?" Aes muttered so quietly there was no way Morgan could have overheard. She was just going into labour and already he could tell it was going to be much harder than her first birth, which made little sense to him. He still knew the fact that she was to have a daughter was irregular- perhaps that had something to do with it.

When he realized Rivven and his party had arrived he stood up quickly, and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Chantico!" he breathed in relief. He had to repeat it to be heard over Morgan's curses "Grace to Mab. I need you to sedate her some." Oh yes, Rivven and...Kia? What was he doing here?

"Mr. Dilys LeFaye, if you would be so kind?" he motioned towards the confused Kiasys.

The cursing was what brought her out of her state of shock. Aes had been too happy to see her that he hadn't noticed that her eyes took up almost all the real estate on her face now.

Chantico was of course just as fluent in Latin as the two from the Faye Islands, and hearing both of their exchanges brought a blush to her face. Funny, as a nurse she'd seen far ruder things, but curses still caught her off guard.

To sedate Morgan...well, the witch's head was always hard to break into, but now that she was in so much pain and clearly distracted Chantico felt confidant in her abilities. Catching Morgan's eye, she began to work her way into Morgan's mind.

Rivven found something familiar about the words; he only knew a few lines of memorized Latin, and that was more for formality than for speaking, but it all wrung familiar for some reason. That it was latin was about all he could tell though.

With a frustrated growl Rivven gave Morgan's hands a squeeze, letting go to grab Kiasys and remove him from the room as gently as he had mind enough to at the moment before he was even sure his wife had noticed he was there. Apologizing between mumbles- or perhaps snarles- to himself, he asked the man to wait outside the room, firmly and pushing where there might be resistance enough to brook no questions, and rushed back in to his wife's side again.

She was losing some steam, it was getting harder to yell at Aes, cry in agony, and push at the same time. He had told her that they had a long day up ahead and she would tire hersef out if she tried to push, but that didn't mean she wouldn't try. Doctor, well.....

He wanted to restrict it to just the essential people (thinking of himself and Chantico) to be around Morgan, but he knew his chances of getting Rivven away were slim. He remebered Mordrid's birth-

louwho (translation)
"Damn Arthur, Damn the Faye, Damn Mab herself! Get this ******** monster out of me! Just let me die! Let me die!"

He had a feeling that the father of the child would be slightly taken aback hearing such things, but it couldn't be helped. Or could it? They hadn't had a dreamwalker before "Please Lady Chanti, sedate her!"

"I'm trying Aes, it's so hard, she's set up walls beforehand!" They were built for attacks, and the more that Chanti broke through the more she realized with a chill that they were more suited for vampire attacks than for protecting against herself. What did Morgan know of vampires? Had she dealt with them before, or had she felt one's prescence in New Xhen?

Rivven wasn't sure what anything they were saying meant, even that last sentence from Chantico. Instead of trying to figure it all out, he tryed just tuning everthing out, and focused on Morgan. What good that would do with her like this and apparantly not noticing he was there, he didn't know, but he tried to take one of her hands, or else just lay a hand gently on her shoulder if now, and figure out what he could do to try and comfort her in some manner or other.

It was all... very confusing at this point.

She swatted at his hand, she mst likely would have just become angry with him if she hd recognized who he was. The walls were indeed up for defensive purposes, but if Chanti tried to ask Aes about it later he wouldn't be of much help, he didn't know anything save what he had heard of vampires.

((should we fast forward a few hours?))

((Doesn't matter to me. In anycase, I think it's about time to PM Rose and let her know. Regardless of if we skip or not, I suspect Yvain will be born by the time she's online again.))

Five hours later, well into the evening, and it looked like the delivery was going to be hard. It would be reckless to operate on Morgan's body as her scoliosis would complicate matters, yet her frail skeletal structure made trying to turn the child so it faced the right direction all the more difficult. He marveled that a woman built so physically small was so capable in fights.

"Aes, please, please! She's wearing me out!" In those five hours Morgan had switched from fighting Aes to battling with Chantico. And Chanti was losing now, her normally neat bun transformed into long tangled hair, with sweat dripping down her forehead, her eyes always shut.
