The last professional drama performance I attended was a play performance of Wait Until Dark, which is a suspenseful thriller. I first watched the film before going to see the play version, as my family did not want me freaked out during the play, as I was ten years old at the time. The film version certainly freaked me out more than the play version.

Have you ever attended a professional drama performance? Which type of drama was it (play, opera, musical, dance)? I went to a few musicals, they are a lot of fun. They mix drama with music, so it is like you get the best of both worlds. I really enjoyed it. Musicals combine music, dialogue, and dance to tell a story. They can range from fun and light-hearted to serious and dramatic.

What is the last play you read? Did you enjoy it? The last popular play I read was *Romeo and Juliet* by William Shakespeare. It is a classic tragedy about two young lovers from fighting families. Their love is intense but ultimately condemned, leading to their tragic deaths. The themes of love, fate, and family conflict are powerful and timeless. I enjoyed it for how it captures the intensity of youthful passion and the consequences of family loyalty.

It is a romantic musical filled with beautiful songs, such as “The Music of the Night,” and tells the story of a mysterious figure in the Paris Opera House who falls in love with a young singer. The mix of drama, music, and spectacle makes it enjoyable.

What is your experience with opera and ballet? I have not personally experienced opera or ballet, but I know they are both amazing! Opera combines powerful singing and drama, like in *Carmen* or *The Magic Flute*. Ballet tells stories through dance, often with classical music, like in *Swan Lake* or *The Nutcracker*.

Have you watched a film / TV adaptation of a play? Which format did you enjoy most, and why? Yes, I have watched film adaptations of plays. *Hamlet*, adapted into a film multiple times. I enjoy the film format because it brings a new level of visual storytelling to the play, adding powerful imagery to the already intense emotions. The film can highlight the characters' inner conflicts in a way that is different from the stage, making the experience more personal.

• Have you ever seen a musical drama? What type of musical was it? Do you enjoy musicals?
I have seen a musical drama before. The musical drama I saw was Hamilton. It was a historical fiction musical drama. I saw Hamilton trending a lot and I decided to watch it. It was a pretty nice watch. I enjoy musicals but I believe I would prefer just a drama performance rather than a musical one.

I have seen The Lion King I'm not fully sure if it's a musical but it so seemed like one. The reason why think it is because there are a lot of scenes where it's purely just singing. When it comes to enjoying a musical I would say that ill like them or dislike them its just wouldn't be my fist choice.

I absolutely love musicals! I’ve never seen one in person, but I’ve seen many online. I also listen to their soundtracks very often. That last one I listened to was the concept album for Epic the Musical, a musical about Odysseus's journey back to Ithaca after the Trojan War and the trials he goes through.
