WARNING MAJOR UPLOAD!!!!!
BIG FILES FOLLOWING THIS ANNOUCEMENT!!!!
As some fo you know, at the VERY LAST minute, Anime Evolution had informed em that I MADE THE CUT yet again!
^___^
So now i'm rushing to get these final peices up and ready for display and auction for the big 3-day event!
I scanned in parts of them for samples as well as an inventory record of their making and wanted ot share them ith you so you can see what I'm selling.
Some are done, others are not, some are TOO BIG for my scanner so I scanned them in fragments and corners so you cna see what they're supposed to look like.
Heh... times like this I wish I had a digital camera that WORKED!!!
And so.. here they are...
The style I am bringing to the convention, will hopefully be special and for the msot part original. The last 2 years I've done this style, I sold a LOT of my work! I came into many commision requests, and so I hope to acomplish the same quota this year.
My style is a mix media of Traditional SumiE painting, and anime using a fine sharpy and india ink to get the fine details established.
Not all of these are like this, but I plan to make more of the mix media theme. NOTE: ALL SUMI-E PAINTINGS, ARE DONE WITH THE TRADITIONA METHOD, USING AN INKSTONE, HAIR BRUSHES, AND GRINDING MY OWN INK EVERY TIME.
I wanted to preserve the feeling of the experiance, I feel the results come out much better if I use the authentic method.
I've also been following a partial Little Mermaid theme this year.. based on the original story!
