Knight Andronicus

Alexandria, she had to find Alexandria. The knight of Uranus gritted her teeth and she climbed onto the nearest piece of debris. With difficulty, brought on by exhausting and weakness, she climbed the falling debris to the more solid platform.

I will find you Alexandria, I swear it.

FINAL TOTAL: 36

[Mistress Morbid]

Transcendent Knight Bifrost

Some where admist her fall Bifrost came to. Her head ached something fierce, but she was not dead, nor was she somehow part of the mirrors. Already this was better than the last time she'd gotten hit in the head with debris.

She couldn't see Midgard, but she was going to do everything to find him. Once she stopped falling. She scrambled up a large piece of debris and up onto the platform.

FINAL TOTAL: 35

Nuxaz

Chibi Sailor Iduna

She was falling and falling and falling, and then she wasn't. The world seemed to slow and come to almost a halt, even as mirrors fell from above. Iduna found her footing on a small piece of debris, and then started scrambling up.

She wasn't dead.

She wasn't injured, not really.

By Princess Serenity she was okay. The chibi senshi used this realization, and the surge of energy from it, to continue her climb to the platform.

It took her a while, but she made it. She made it to solid ground.

FINAL TOTAL: 20

Sailor Skoll

Skoll fell for a long time. It felt like a long time. She watched people around her fall at different speeds, cling to each other, resign themselves to their fates. Was this how she went? Was this how she'd be remembered? She was really just gunna... let herself ******** that.

The Senshi of the Pack flipped upright - what she assumed was upright - and climbed as though her life depended on it. It took her a long time, but she managed to get to the solid platform.

General Arsenopyrite
He wasn't sure how he had done it, but somehow in the air he had managed to make himself upright, enough to be able to look around at what was going on. He saw others falling, meaning that he hadn't been the only one to be teleported here, but had to pay attention to getting himself saved right now. As much as he wanted, he couldn't exactly help other people right now, especially when their powers really weren't working.

Suddenly he saw the strange black pillar and managed to maneuver himself onto one of the larger chunks, managing to easily hop over to the pillar. Once he had reached it, he breathed a slight sigh of relief, but looked around, wondering what the heck all of this was and if he could help anyone else. Or if he even recognized anyone else.

Arseno: [0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2)] so 1 + 3 + 6 = 10

Squire Alphubel
Well, even if he had had some luck before, it didn't help now when he almost seemed to have no hope of ever reaching the pillar. It was a struggle, the robe certainly didn't seem to help when it was getting snagged on everything, but he barely managed to make it over. But he almost slipped until at the last second a hand reached out to grab him and helped pull him up.

Alphubel: [0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2)] so 1 + 9 + 1 = 11

Senshi Takamizawa
Although he had the bad luck of falling off of the path, he had a bit more luck making it over to the platform.

Kami: [0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2)] so 1 + 2 + 5 = 8

Super Senshi Caliban]
Cal's luck was going from bad to worse as he struggled to get over to the pillar. Surprisingly parkour did not give one the skills to be able to easily get from one piece of falling debris to another like in the movies. But he eventually made it.

Cal: [0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2) + 0(-2)] so 1 + 4 + 1= 6

Transcended Sailor Ida

Quote:
8 or higher: A large piece of debris floats in front of you; you are able to climb atop of it and navigate an easy path to the platform.

Terror gave way, after a while, to confusion.

She was falling, and so where the others around her… but as time went on they seemed to fall more… slowly?

It made about as much sense as anything else in this weird place. Shards of the ceiling fell with them, and chunks of the platforms above that were apparently supporting by nothing. She’d gotten a pretty good look on the way down.

The confusion never really faded, but her sense of self-preservation did and the eternal senshi began to cast about for something to break their fall. They couldn’t all just stay here…

And then she caught sight of the black pillar and its lone platform. There… that was the only ground left and she far prefered it to this slow motion falling. There was no promise it was any safer, but it was a chance they were going to have to take.

The only way to get there (beyond swimming like some weird kind of air fish) was using the falling debri. It was a bit of a long shot… but there was a large one passing within reach. Ida grabbed for it and was surprised to get purchase, pulling herself closer and then up onto it. It offered enough push back she felt like she had some traction and with a push of her legs, she leaped to one closer to the pillar.

Not one to try to puzzle out why something worked when time was of the essence, Ida made her way towards the pillar with its platform, and only once she had landed on it, did she finally let herself double over and take deep, gasping breaths to calm herself. The path had been fairly easy, but terrifying for all that.

Sailor Cassiopeia

How long did they fall? Cassiopeia reached for one of the large pieces, trying to tug Valjean along with her as she climbed up on top of it. A... platform? She only lingered long enough for him to climb up as well before she grabbed his hand again and pushed forward towards the strange purple light.

Sailor Morgan

The falling wasn't the worst part. It was the fact she didn't land anywhere. And that s**t slowed down. Bits of debris fell past her and even seemed to float towards her. But she couldn't grab on, cut and bruised and bloody hands slipping on the crap before she fell on. Or the debris did. Or something. But the platform, and that dark crystal with the strange purple light, drew her in. The Senshi of Gateways grappled for purchase on the debris, managing to pull herself up onto a chunk and onto wobbly legs.

She could sleep once her sister and her friends were out of there.

Pushing forward, she began to scan the growing crowd for the faces she sought. "Gwen? Alex? Hani?" She repeated their names, but when she spotted Hania, he was with a girl she'd not seen before. The relief still washed through her, a clear smile on her cut and blood smeared face. "Hani!"

But it was the sight of Alex that drew her over the quickest. Unfamiliar faces aside, she grabbed up her kid sister, hugging her tight. "s**t, Alex. I'm sorry kiddo, I'm sorry. We're getting you out of here, asap, I promise." Her words tumbled out rapidly, trying to look her over for injuries while simultaneously flat-out clinging to the kid.

Lieutenant Strengite

She had deliberately stepped off the path backwards so it took her a bit to actually turn around and by that point the negaverser realized that unlike the first time, this time her fall was slow. It was surreal, even more surreal than the whole place had been so far. Her fall had been so slow that she was able to examine the few scrapes and scratches on her arms that she had received from the falling mirror shards. All shallow, barely drawing blood, even a few that didn’t, and none that would leave scars thankfully. She was rather vain and would prefer not to have hands that looked like they lost a fight with scissors.

Her inspection of her rather minor wounds were cut off when Strengite realized that there was a rather large piece of mirror falling in front of her and another platform relatively close. As much as falling in slow motion was amusing, if a bit freaky, she was more than ready to have something solid underneath her shoes once more. Using more luck than skill the dusky skinned woman scrambled on top of the debris and using it, along with others like it, eventually made her way to the platform she had spotted.

Antares

If Antares ever got her hands on that negaverser she was going to punch her face in. Antares hadn’t appreciated being shoved let alone being shoved off the platform and wanted to take her anger out on the witch who had done it. A fist to the gut, one to the face, possibly more. Teach that crazy lady not to touch her! Ever! And to stay the ******** away from Chaldene because it had been pretty clear that she shoved Antares off the path for some twisted way just to ******** with him. The blonde senshi fumed as she fell, a little freaked that she was once more into a void but using her anger at the negawitch to stay focused and not give into the fear that was clawing at the edges of her mind.

The flashing purple lights were enough to draw her attention which is when she spotted the platform. Scrambling the young woman managed to climb onto a mirror fragment and then from there eventually made her way to the platform. As tempting as it was to just fall on the ground and kiss it like people did in movies Antares didn’t do any of that, instead she surveyed the crowd gathering as they made their way to the platform from their own fall. She was looking for two people specifically. Chaldene and the b***h. Chaldene was more important but if she happened to cross paths with that negaverser Antares might just return the earlier favor. Chucking that pale haired woman off the platform would be totally cathartic.

Mlinzi

He did not like falling at all! Who ever thought tumbling into an empty void as fun needed their head checked out. It didn’t matter that they all now, everyone he could see at least, were falling at the same rate along with debris. It still stunk! Muttering curses and making promises to teach whoever sent him to this place a lesson the large cat scrambled upon a rather large chunk of something, likely the path he had just fallen off of. From there he was able to make his way over to a platform that sported a spiffy black pillar that apparently was putting on a lightshow. Not that Mel cared, right then all he cared about was getting the hell out of here, that and finding Lacerta. He couldn’t leave her behind.

So that was his first action once he got his feet under him. It took some doing, weaving between the rapidly gathering group of people who apparently disliked falling as much as he did. Had there been this many people on the first platform? Would this one crumble like that one? Those were some disturbing thoughts and they goaded the cat into moving even faster. He was going so fast that he nearly missed the familiar figure, he overshot her by several people and had to circle back around to her. “Lacerta! Lacerta! Are you ok?”

Arthur Quinton aka Quinn

Unlike the previous fall this time he was able to at least stay relatively close to Rae even if he wasn’t really able to get close to her. Before long his drop through the mirror void had slowed to the point he would almost think he was wearing a parachute except there was no harness digging into his crotch. Through more maneuvering than he really wanted to do he eventually made it to a chunk of debris and finally made his way to the platform that was slowly gathering the collection of others like him and Rae.

Even through this he kept an eye on her, shouting suggestions not that he really expected her to hear him. When they both made it to the platform safely he turned towards her only to take a step back at the anger he saw there. She was not happy that's for damn sure.

General Benitoite

It was as he fell that he called for his cousin, shouting the others name, in the hopes that he would hear him somehow. But he heard nothing...why couldn't he see or hear his cousin? Cuprite had fallen as well - right? He was sure the other had fallen as well. He needed to know where his cousin was and that he was well, he had to keep him safe. While Cuprite was older he was still lesser in rank and so lacked the strength the smaller of the two Evans' had within his petite frame.

As he fell things seemed to go by rather quickly, he really hoped there was no ground for him to hit at some point, because with all the mirror shards falling down there would be a hell of a bottom to hit. The idea of a put filled with spikes came to mind...and that idea bothered him. he'd already discovered, earlier, that he couldn't teleport so he couldn't even save himself if he had to.

As a purple light flashed he turned towards it and spying the pillar and the platform on which it sat he made the rather quick decision that he needed to get to that. Grabbing a nearby piece of debris he climbed onto it and started heading that way, making quick work of traveling towards it.

Sailor Hamal

The fall was slow, almost too slow, she was sure it was like how people described car accidents - time slows down. That's what this had to be, right? It made sense, in some sort of way.
She didn't feel jittery or filled with energy though, like one would with an adrenaline rush, but she had never dealt with that so maybe that's why everything was so slow. That was part of it - right? When people talked about car accidents or other similar things.

Watching things fall down around her, all out of reach, she took note of a purple flash of light and a dark pillar - crystal maybe? The platform it was on was white and stood out in the darkness. How to get there though? Because that had to be a safe place to be...right?

When a large chunk of mirror moved past her the senshi of talismans reached out, without much thought, and climbed on top of it in order to start navigating her way towards the platform and whatever would happen from there. She just knew she needed to stop falling and get there - to the platform.

Eternal Chaldene

Falling was slow, like everything had been put into slow motion or maybe stop frame animation? He really wasn't sure which but it certainly didn't' sit well with his stomach. It was the one thing he had against haunted houses, the flashing lights made everythign seem much slower and threw him off. He didn't like the play with time and speed as it unsettled him. One arm, while he was falling, went about his midsection as he shifted as much as he could. It seemed like he'd be falling forever. Debris fell around him and his already cut and bruised up body, thanks to the previous shattering ceiling, but none of it touched him and most of it seemed rather far away even. "I really hope there is no ground...it'll be covered in broken mirror." And the idea of landing on broken mirror was just not really appealing....gee wonder why.

When he saw a flash of light in the darkness his gaze focused on it and he shook his head. "Maybe..." Maybe that was safe...just maybe. But safe from what? Did it even matter? It seemed safe, he hoped anyway. So he headed that way, grabbing onto pieces of debris as he could. Once on top of the piece of debris he headed towards the pillar and the platform it resided on.

"Antares better be there." And that negaverse lieutenant...she had better not be near him.

Sailor Skadi: 10 + 0 = 10

What kind of dork falls to their death and has never even kissed a boy?

It was the important things that ran through Skadi's young mind as she fell- quickly at first, and then noticeably slower. Did she die already? Well... At least it was painless, she figured. Maybe the strange floating feeling is what Senshi experienced when they died, while their starseeds sat in stasis.

But... She was sure she could hear something... Voices? That was weird...

Her eyes slowly opened, and she quickly realized that she was in fact very much not dead nor was anyone else that was slow-falling around her. Her heart began to race and a big huge smile spread across her face as she pulled herself onto the first mirrored platform that came her way with surprising ease. While she was still exhausted and sluggish, she pushed herself towards the bright purple light in the distance. When she arrived safe and sound on the platform, she began to pace along its edge - she needed to make sure that her friends made it here alive as well. They had to be okay. It had to have been that she made it to the platform first and they were definitely absolutely positively coming.

Allison: 8 - 1 = 7

Alli was one hundred percent sure that this was it for her- she had just restarted her life, was finally starting to get into the flow of every day tasks again... And it was all over, as quickly as it had started. She closed her eyes tightly as the tears came in steady streams, plummeting ever downwards, until it...

It stopped.

She blinked, her vision blurry but it was very obvious that everyone that had fallen was somehow floating, falling downwards only slightly. Everything was moving in slow motion and she thankfully managed to spot Chris nearby. She scrambled to try and climb into the nearest mirror fragment, but she lost her grip and slid off of it. She had to wait while until the next one happened along.

Finally she hoisted herself onto the next mirror fragment, and Allison grabbed a hold of Chris to pull him up onto the platform as well. She pointed at the platform in the distance, "There. We have to get to that," before starting on the journey from fragment to fragment as slowly as it would need to take them.

Katrina (-1)

Kat groaned at Danny. Well, no, her groan wasn't entirely directed at Danny. A good bit of it was at the idea of rock climbing-- of making light of this situation at all, really. There was nothing good about this. There was... Hold on. Wait. What had he said?

"No way, McKay! I've got plans tonight. Gotta get out on time." She was supposed to be meeting with Prissy after work. The pinkette had mentioned stopping by the store after her manicure appointment which shouldn't have been more than an hour or so after she'd stepped into the back. s**t. If Prissy showed up at the Cube and she and Danny were both gone....

She groaned another curse as she pulled herself up onto a slowly rotating bit of debris, feeling like a contestant on one of those ninja athlete game shows. Dizzy enough, she tried to find her balance before leaping to the next platform. At this rate neither of them would be doing dishes if and when they made it back to Destiny City. They'd both be taking a trip to DC Memorial Hospital instead.

Super Sailor Thisbe (+1)

The free fall was gentle at first, becoming more rapid suddenly. She felt her heart begin to race again, no longer relieved or relaxed. Her hands reached out for anything as though that might be enough. It was with great surprise that she found herself grasping at a large mirror shard that scraped at her palm, fraying fancy new lace gloves.

Thisbe pulled herself up with a groan, legs shaky as she found her footing. As seemed to be the case with many others, she began the climb up towards safety. Safety.... Hahaha.... As though such a thing even existed.

Eta, Mauvian (0)

Her fall was mostly graceful-- as graceful as a cat tumbling through darkness and other creatures could be, at the very least. It was the sudden scrambling and frenzy that started up around her once more that made things less graceful. Everyone was trying so hard to scramble from shard to shard and as she landed on the first one she simply knew that she had to too.

The first one was easy enough to land on, but the space between them became harder and harder to leap. She was so tired; worn from the wraiths and closer to giving up than she could ever recall being in her Mauvian life. It was awful... And yet she pressed on. One leap, then two, another... One by one until she made it to the solid platform only to collapse once she'd found solid ground beneath her paws.

They weren’t dead…?? Charlie had waited for the end of the fall, but it never came. Instead when she opened her eyes, it was because Bob was reaching out to her and taking hold of her hands to put them on his shoulders. She followed his instruction immediately because she had no idea what to do, and he seemed to have a plan, so of course she was going to listen.

“Okay. Let me know if I’m too heavy and I can get off,” she requested, because he was kinda skinny, so maybe that lean muscle wasn’t so much muscle after all. But he didn’t seem to have a problem with it as he jumped like a cat across the debris to the platform.

It was only when they were on solid ground that she let herself down from holding onto his shoulders and plopped onto the ground, her legs feeling too shaky to try and stand.

“I’m going to make you the biggest cake you can possibly imagine. Do you like cake? I can get you anything else you want,” she said breathlessly, her eyes wide with tears. “Thank you. Thank you…”

She would just not mention this ordeal to Tristan, otherwise he might have a heart attack.

The fact that he had yet to have an actual heart attack was probably surprising, given everything else that was going on. The collapsing of the pathway should have been enough, but things were different as they fell, and soon he realized Allison was reaching to pull him onto the platform with her.

“Okay, let’s go,” he said, forcing himself up to aide her in getting across, not wanting to have her do all the work, aside from the fact that she was already doing most of the work. One piece of debris to the other, and finally on the platform.

It was then that Chris turned to pull Allison into the tightest hug he could manage without hurting her, trying to ignore the stinging in his eyes.

“Are you okay? Are you hurt? I’m so… so sorry,” he said, pulling back to look her over, trying to keep his own heavy breathing in check so she wouldn’t worry too much about him.

Death didn’t frighten him. It was just an annoyance at this point. He was starting to enjoy his time as a negaverse officer, but if this was how he was supposed to go, then there was nothing he could do.

But that wasn’t quite the case. It looked as though there was an opportunity to get out if they went along the pieces of debris. He nodded to Reinerite and helped her as they moved across the shards of mirrors, and one final leap to the landing.

It was only then that he released his hold on her arm.

There was no real need to talk, so he just nodded to her and gestured that they kept moving to get out.

He thought he would have a lot to think about in his final moments, but his thoughts were blank. There were things that he wished he could have done with his life, but he didn’t think he regretted anything he’d already done. He just wished he could have lived a little longer to do more things. To get to know his friends better. To continue his research.

But he wasn’t dead. Far from it. He was floating slower, along with the debris. He couldn’t see the others in the darkness, but he could hear people calling out to their friends. Was that Chara? Or Oort? Did Vi and Skadi make it out okay too?

Trying to ignore the pain in his arm, and his leg, and sticky feeling down the side of his face, Oberon pushed himself up to jump across, looking desperately for his friends as he did so, wanting to help whoever he could.

“Come on, you can do it,” he said to someone maybe close enough to hear him, but his voice sounded muffled in his ears. They might not have heard him.

He pushed forward once more, finally leaping onto the platform. But once he scrambled enough out of the way for other people to make it onto solid ground, he fell to his knees and forearms.

He would catch his breath and then try to go back to help the others out.

Oberon = 7 + 3 + 5 + 3 +10 = 28

Somehow he wasn’t dead. Others were falling and Kamacite was trying in vain to prepare himself to die, but it wasn’t coming. Instead he was able to right himself as he fell, and made an attempt to follow the others as they jumped across the mirrors and pieces of rock.

He managed to get to the landing somehow, holding his hair and robes up to stop them from being stepped on by himself or others. There was no one there for him to hug or to ask if they were okay, or if he was okay. He wasn’t okay, but that didn’t matter.

Teleportation still didn’t work, so he shakily pushed himself forward, trying to get away from the ledge as quickly as possible.

Kamacite = 14 + 8 = 22

Guardian Cat Hania

He had tried so hard not to hurt Isolda but ended up digging in on accident anyway. Said actions ended up with him falling away from the petite Senshi with a yowl of her name. As he fell away, the Guardian Cat could see debris everywhere and tried his best to get on some so he could head towards the pillar and purple light he could see in the distance, figuring it would be the pest place to try and meet up with the others.

Hania missed the first few of the fragments, getting small cuts to his paw pads for his trouble, but he finally landed on one after a moment of two. The black cat looked around with wide eyes to get his barrings before he started to bound across the fragments towards the platform. It was difficult at times when the fragments weren't close enough to safely jump without cutting himself farther but he made it. He had just landed on the platform when he was scooped up by Isolda.

The Guardian Cat went limp for a moment in relief as not only was Isolda here but he could see some of the others in the group were also here. The limpness didn't last though as the Senshi's words registered and he was quick to start purring like a motor while nuzzling her face. "No, no, it was my fault! I'm so sorry for hurting you!" He said, guilt clear in his voice.

His ears twitched when he heard Morgan calling out and without even noticing he hadn't answered Isolda's question about being hurt, he turned to look to see Morgan reuniting with Alex and Kaye catching up to them. "You are all here! I'm so glad!" He said as he shifted a bit, to see them better as Isolda moved closer to them, not noticing the small bloody paw print he left on her.

Hania spotted Lacrimosa hanging back and he gave her a relieved smile to see her safe as well.
