Based on the tight grip on his hand, Skylar must have read what's on his mind, because they knew they were both in danger. Even Rika noticed that, too, considering that the construction worker should be focusing on his job rather than having the intention to stalk them someday. It was a good thing that the boss called that guy to go back to work since the project was time-sensitive. She sighed. "Let's keep up the pace a bit." Haruki couldn't help but nod, having to follow what his mom said before something else would occur once more.

Skylar gave a nod to Risk and they causally picked up the pace. He still made sure to keep an eye on the people's around them, causing him to notice...weapons that were hidden under the clothes. What the? Okay. He was liking this situation less and less and he could feel his inner demon andbwell as himself tense up slightly as he knew that there was going to be a fight. But if they could get to the restaurant, then they would be safe for a bit as hunters would never attack in a public setting. Cowards was what they were. Angelique shares the same feelings with her son. The sooner they're away from this street, the better.

By the time they arrived at the restaurant, there weren't many people around save for a few families who decided to catch up after a long separation, which was a relief on Haruki's part. He chose one of the vacant tables, one fit for a huge family, and he sat down alongside them. A waiter came to hand down a few copies of the menu and the bartender inspected for the family meals to have a huge fill while saving up money. "It's a good thing the crabs are included. Do you want to order this option, Skylar?" He waited for his lover to answer before he would finalize the order.

Skylar couldn't help but release a quiet sigh of relief when they made it to the resturaunt. Those people watching them made him nervous and edgy but he refused to let it ruin thier lunch. Skylar started out of his thoughts when Haruki asked him a question. "Hmm. Oh, yes. This will be fine." he replied with a smile at everyone. Angelique watched her son with a frown as they ordered thier food. If her son was this distracted, then she had every right to be worried. Skylar then felt his phone vibrate, causing him to jerk in surprise before taking it out and reading it. A message from his aunt. Hunters?! Damn! This was bad but he kept it to himself as not to alarm everyone else. Hunters were.following them.

Unknown to them, the waiter was also a disguised hunter, nodding as soon as the order was finalized. By the time they arrived at the kitchen, the chef cooked the food for the order, but a waitress who was also a hunter leaned closer, asking if there were some demons. Secretly, the girl handed the waiter a vial of powder containing a neurotoxin designed to immobilize demons. By the time the food would be served, he would have to mix it with the drink for Skylar so that the demon would be out cold for the time being. Indeed, that would be a piece of cake. It didn't take long for the waiter to serve the food, pulling out his signature cordial smile, before leaving the family alone to enjoy the meal. It was a good thing that the powder was colorless so that the unfortunate victim would not suspect a thing.

(So, Skylar is going to get kidnapped right? Or does he find out about the spiked food and drinks? ) Skylar's eyes narrowed at the waiter as he delivered thier their food and drinks. Some ting was off about him but maybe he was reading too much into this. So, why couldn't he shake this feeling that something terrible was going to happen. He looked at Harm and everyone else before staring at his own drink before taking it in hand and sniffing it. His senses were screaming "DNAGER! DANGER!" but then agaian, maybe it was the paranoia talking. Angelique was watching the waiter as well and she noticed that he had paid a little too much attention to Skylar which set off her maternal instincts.

But before Skylar would drink it, Haruki snatched the glass with the drink and splashed the contents onto the flower vase that was part of the decoration. The flower suddenly shook before it whittled slowly, meaning the beverage was a dangerous one. That was when the waiter had no choice but to do drastic measures to acquire the target. He quickly grabbed Skylar into a headlock and stuffed a cloth with a powerful chloroform into the demon's nose, designed to knock him out in just five seconds. Haruki yelled out but suddenly, the waitress appeared, urging the companion to just run away with the loot. The duo dashed out of the restaurant before the human would catch up to them both, leaving him frustrated. (We'll go with plan A.)

Skylar blinked in surprise when Haruki grabbed his glass and threw it into the nearest plant. His eyes narrowed when he saw what happened to it. Damn. What happened next wasn't expected either as his world went dark and hebwas carted off. Angelique watched as her son was kidnapped and screamed in rage, ignoring the stares she was getting. Those bastards kidnapped her son! Just then, Ameila Amelia and her sisters had entered the restaurant, looking at Haruki and the others but Skylar was nowhere to be found. She was now officially pissed off. Those hunters were going to die! It was a good thing that she could track him or they would be hardpresssd to find them.

A dark gray SUV appeared a few kilometres away from the restaurant to pick up both the hunters together with the unconscious demon. After putting Skylar at the back with him lying down, they both hopped onto the middle seat, telling the driver to dash off quickly as they would call the client to tell the good news. As for Haruki, he saw the aunt together with her sisters and sighed. "The hunters were so fast and I don't know where they are. He could probably get killed before the ceremony would start." He certainly wanted to strangle them to death and there would be no one stopping him from doing so.

Skylar was in and out of consciousness. When he woke up, hebwas going to be quite upset. The hunters had no idea of who they had just kidnapped and they were going to pay dearly for it. Angelique looked at Ameila who stared back, sizing each other up. A look of understanding . Came between them and t st nodded to each other. "No need to worry. I can track him. Right now they are headed towards an abandoned part of the city to the east." Amelia said, closing her eyes and concentrating. "We should hurry thought. I wouldn't put it past the leader of the hunters to you with the boy before killing him." she added, heading for the door.

Haruki blinked when the aunt mentioned the location and he felt dumb for not knowing that demons could sense each other even if they were far away. "Then let's get going. Unfortunately, I don't have a vehicle to drive us there... Unless..." It may be possible that demons could teleport unless there were some complications. The SUV just kept on dashing straight towards that abandoned warehouse near the docks and the two hunters panted, glad to know that they had arrived before the others would catch up to them. The boy was now informing the client that the target was transported and Skylar would be the target for whatever the client wanted him to do, even if it meant killing him. (I actually have depression right now, so my replies will be slower.)

(I understand. Hope you feel better.) Skylar groaned, waking up with a slight headache from whatever he had breathed in. "Ah! So you'ryou're finally awake." Came a voice to his left. He sat up, fighting off the dizziness that threatened to overtake him. He looked around to find himself in a rather extravagant room before blue eyes landed on the figure of a man before him. He was tall, blonde and musuclar, though he couldn't see the upper half of his face due to the mask he was wearing. "Who the hell are you?" he asked in a cold voice, not liking the idea.of being kidnapped. The man just smiled. "My name is of no importance. Such a pretty little thing aren't you?" he purred, reaching out a hand before Skylar slapped it away. Only Haruki was allowed to touch him. Ameila tilted her head in thought. "Yes. I can teleport but I can carry on two people at a time." she replied after a moment, looking at Haruki. "I will stay here with Haruki's parents while you and Haruki go and save my son." Angelique said, breaking into The conversation and adding her input.

Seeing that the client was pleased with the prize, both the hunters left the man to his own devices, telling them to have his way with them as a message to the demons that they should just be played as much as they want the same way they had with humans. Haruki sighed with the teleportation limit, but he understood. "Very well, feel free to bring me to the place. I just don't want anyone else to get filthy with him." When it came to pleasuring Skylar, only he could do that, more so because they were mated with each other.

Skylar was not a happy camper at the moment. This man, who refused to stop trying to touch him was starting to piss him off. "Get away from me, you creep." he all but snarled at the man, named Kain, his blue eyes flashing gold, a reminder of how close his demon was to the surface. Kain, stared at him for a moment before smirking and then pinning the blue-haired beauty to the bed. He would get the demon b*****d to submit, even if it was by force. "Get off!" Skylar snarled, one second away from killing this man but was kind weak due to the whatever they had knocked him out with so he was having trouble buvking the other off. Amelia gave a nod before transporting them to the place where they were keeping her nephew. She had made sure to tell her sisters to look out for Haruki's parents and Angelique until they got back. And that they also had her permission to rip apart any hunter who tries to hurt them.

It seemed like a blur by the time Haruki was transported to the abandoned warehouse where Skylar was currently kept captive. He was disgusted at the sight of the man trying to touch his beloved demon, even if it meant having to use force for submission. Right away, he dashed and punched that guy in the face, not even hesitating to pull the blond mane before cracking the other's teeth with the fist. "Get your filthy hands off him, you scoundrel!" It was then that he worked on untying Skylar so that they could escape together.
