As Lyn sat on the couch, she wasn't even sure what was playing on the tv screen. The notification from her phone next to her on the couch was what finally brought her out of her thoughts. She looked down at the text from Cadie. Maralyn had figured something was happening with the clubs since Dereck had rushed out. And yet here she was getting invited to hang out with the women folk. Lyn wasn't usually one to run, and she really didn't want to drag anyone into her s**t. But then again, if Dylan already knew she was here, it might be better to stay elsewhere for just the time being. She texted Cadie back hurriedly,"Send me an address. I'll be by in about an hour.'

Lyn threw the blanket off her form, grabbed her gun and phone, and moved to the bathroom where she took a quick shower. Toweling dry she moved across the hall into the bedroom and got dressed before packing clothes for work tomorrow in a bag. As she was packing, the pounding on the door made the red head jump. Her gun was up at the ready, until she heard Cadie yelling at her to open the door.

With a sigh of relief, Lyn moved towards the door of the apartment, and unlocked it. Her gun hung to her side as she let Cadence inside. Quickly she locked the door after the brunettes form was inside.
"You didn't have to come out. I didn't mean to worry you Cadie. Just didn't know really who else to tell that he was back in town." It was then that Lyn turned to the other woman. She had a few cuts and bruises on her face. With a gasp, she came closer, "Cadie, what happened?"

Lyn moved to the kitchen and held out a water bottle from the fridge to Cadence. Then she started to head back down the hall to the bedroom.
"I was just finishing packing. Was going to head wherever you girls were. We should still probably leave soon. Cadence he said he'd send Pirate and those guys over. We don't need that trouble now, if he's watching this place." She wasn't sure just how much Dylan knew about anything in this town. Obviously he had seen Dereck leave her place. And must have known something about him before tonight if he had already sent the videos to the Reapers clubhouse before coming to her apartment. And if he was watching her, and had seen Cadence come over...Hadn't he said he'd send the brute if she was lonely? And now that she had called company, even female company. A shiver went down Lyn's spine.

The woman finished shoving clothes into her bag, then came back out of the bedroom, gun still in hand. She moved to grab a water for herself, she had already filled her water bottle. Then turned to Cadie, and pulled on her boots saying
"I'll just follow you there since I gotta work in the morning. But you ready?"

He nodded his head at the news. Great so the Outcast group was not gone like they had all suspected. Should have known they had more than just a couple guys. But when would they stop coming after the towns? Now for sure Cadence wasn't leaving his sight as much as he could help it.

As Ryder asked for any other business, Jasper shrugged and stepped forward."Just a heads up, that s**t bag Alex is dead. I don't know if the Sheriff's going to be looking into the club at all for it." He didn't feel he needed to say the man had already come after Cadence. That he had handled, and the sheriff wouldn't do it again. And if he did, Jasp would surely kill him. Not only that, he wouldn't give the man another chance.

"Well ******** say I am torn up he is dead. So, we may or may not have Police eyes on us guys." Orion shook his head. Just what they needed! He looked around at the other men.No one else had anything that needed to be discussed it seemed.
"For now...we go home. Keep a low profile. Jasper I trust you will monitor that Alex situation. Let us know if they are sniffing around. If I were you, keep an eye on Cadence. There is too much history there for them not to pay her a visit. I am sure it won't be serious. She doesn't know anything about his death I am sure. Idiot probably got drunk and high then tried to rip off the wrong person." Orion stood up.
"Meeting over, family dinner tomorrow. That is not a request, everyone will be there. That means Lyn too. She is our newest honorary member. Make her feel welcomed. Sure everyone knows she is a cousin of the twins."

With that said the gavel hit the table. The men rose and started to exit the room. All going their separate ways. Rion hung back with Titus and Black though.

Cadence stepped in and shook her head. "I was not going to leave you here to fend for yourself. If he was here....he was going to be leaving in a body bag." She accepted the bottle of water.
"Sheriff was helping me improve my face..." She replied wryly.
She waited in the kitchen.

The borrowed gun on the counter next to her hand. She nearly whimpered when Lyn mentioned Pirate. She placed her hand over the gun to comfort herself.
"Let's get the hell out of here. Ride with me, take my car tomorrow. Jasper isn't going to let me head into work that early alone. I can always ride home with Jasper or anyone really." She did not want Lyn riding alone. She felt like they may try to use that moment to get to her.
"We can go hang with Grace. Dereck, her brother sent one of his guy's over. So we have at least him as back up."

She started for the door. She wanted far away from here. She currently wished Killian was tailing her. He would keep them safe. She trusted Killian with her life.

Jasper nodded,"Already covered, man." He told Orion in reference to Cadence. Of course he had taken caution to make sure she was safe. That was if she listened to him. But she didn't have much of a choice as he would be following her around for a while now.

He nodded as Orion stated there would be a party the next night that everyone was to attend. He wasn't sure if now was the time for a big gathering, but then again had to keep the face of the club secure. These little threats couldn't be seen to bother them.

As the gavel hit, Jasper filed out with the rest. He hopped on his bike and quickly drove back to his apartment. When he entered, he called, Cadie!? With no answer, and after not finding her anywhere in the apartment. Jasper cursed, heading quickly back out the door to his bike. He called Cadence on the phone,
"Cadence where are you?"

"He was here. He just didn't want much today."Lyn told her as they walked out of the apartment. She gave Cadie a look,"He didn't help your face at all, dear. It was much prettier before. Why was the Sheriff coming after you anyway?"

She locked up the door, before starting to climb down the stairs slowly with Cadence. Her gun was still in her had. She'd be damned if she was caught off guard again. As Cadence mentioned her taking her car. She nodded."Thank you Cadie." After the two climbed into the car of Cadence, Lyn turned to her, "How's that whole thing going with Jasper?" As Cadence mentioned Grace, Lyn thought it might be a good idea she met the other girl. Was probably about time for that since she had been in town for 2 months and only heard of her. Time to meet the famous Grace.

Grace and TJ had ended up ordering a pizza, and even put the TV on the HBO channel, and that was when there was another knock at the door, and then a key turned in the lock. TJ was quick to draw his gun, and he narrowed his eyes until Dereck's form walked inside. Upon seeing TJ with his gun brandished, Dereck waved his hand in the air, dismissing the threat. Dereck was not int he mood to ******** around with anyone today. After witnessing what videos had been delivered to the club, he was adamant on getting his sister as far away from the Angels as possible. Not only was Lyn in the pornographic videos, Cadence was as well. Everyone who was associated with the Angels got hurt. Hell, when Grace began talking to Orion, she was taken by the outcasts and they branded a large cross on her back. A cross because they thought she was a part of the Angels. Now she had two thin, pink scars that stretched from the corners of her mouth to her ears. Despite the fact that they looked better than they did, he was still unhappy that Grace had to live with something like that. Scarred for life. Now, there seemed to be a new threat, and the last thing he wanted was for anyone else to get hurt because Orion couldn't protect his own.

"It's just me, Teej. Put that ******** gun down. You aren't scaring anyone.."

Grace got up off the couch, following her brother into the kitchen where he had grabbed himself a piece of pizza, and a beer from the fridge. He leaned up against the sink, looking around. Grace herself took a seat on the counter, her arms crossed over her chest, staring at her brother. He looked like there was something bothering him, but Grace was not one to ask. Especially if it involved him and the Reapers.

"How the hell did you manage to get a key to my house after Orion changed the locks? Hm?"

Dereck merely flashed his smile at his sister, winking at her. He always had a key to her house, and he always would. The way he saw it, as long as she lived in Shadow Creek and away from the safety of the Reapers, he would need a key so that he could check in on her whenever he wanted. It was obvious that Dereck did not think Orion could keep his sister safe. Not at all.

"I have my ways, sis. TJ told me that Cadence was here, where did she go?"

He wanted to talk with Grace, and the last thing he needed to do was to badmouth Orion in front of Cadence. She was a spitfire, and crazy as s**t. That was a battle he was not prepared to fight. Dereck took a bite of pizza, then decided to walk around the house. He was in one of his weird moods, and it was making Grace kind of grumpy. She followed right after him, her arms crossed over her chest. When Dereck caught sight of the baby in the guest room, he turned to face Grace and his eyebrows were furrowed, his voice being kept low.

"I've been told that you have been watching his kid a lot. Looks to me like he is using you more as a nanny for his child than as his woman."

Grace felt her mouth fall open, and a small gasp escaped her lips. She could not believe the audacity of her brother. He was acting like a grade A a*****e, and it was making her get antsy. She really cared about Orion, and she assumed he cared about her as well. After all, he was still hanging around her, and as far as she knew, she was the only woman in his life. Well, besides his mother and Cadence.

"Dereck, do you hear yourself right now? I can't believe you. I know you don't like that I am with him, but--.."

Dereck held his hand up, cutting Grace off from what she was saying. His eyes were dark, serious, and he pulled Grace into her bedroom, closing the door behind them gently. Dereck was pinching the bridge of his nose, and pacing back and forth before finally stopping, and looking at Grace with a serious expression.

"I know how he is, Gracie. I know guys like him. Hell, he got someone pregnant, and he isn't even with her anymore. I don't want that for you. I don't want you to sit around and raise his kid for him, while he is too busy being--.."

Grace shoved Dereck, and pointed her finger at him. He had no right to sit there and comment on her relationship when he didn't have one of his own. Well, not that Grace knew of just yet. She was still unaware of the fact that Dereck was seeing Maralyn. Even if she did know about it, she never in a million years would comment on his relationship. Just because she was his younger sister, gave him no right to mosey along and try to control who she beds with.

"You have no right. Dereck Michael Thompson, you ******** a*****e. You have no idea what goes on between us--.."

Dereck let out a forced chuckle, and shook his head. There was a smile on his face, but not because he was happy. It was because he was pissed off. Angry. Maybe he was taking out his frustrations on his disapproval of Grace and Orion's relationship. Not that he cared, he figured the sooner she realized that Orion wasn't a one-woman kind of guy, the better off she would be.

"He will never make you his old lady, you know that right? He is going to string you along until you decide that you have had enough. By that time you will have missed out on a great life, a life without this whole ******** mess. Don't you get it, Grace?"

Grace shook her head, and pointed to the bedroom door, glaring at her brother. Who the hell did he think he was? Coming into her house, eating her food, and have the audacity to make comments on her relationship? He had no idea the way she felt about Orion, or the way Orion felt about her. She was not just a nanny, and he was not using her. She was done having this conversation, and she wanted Dereck to get out.

Cadence unlocked the car and waited till Maralyn had her bag in the car, and was settled in. She put her seat belt on Right after she put her keys in the ignition her phone went off. The Arctic Monkeys 'R U Mine?' played throughout the car because that was the ring tone she had set for Jasper.
"Fuuuuucccccckkkkkk!!!!" Cadie groaned as she answered the phone.
"Hey Jasper, I know you told me to stay put but I figured there is safety in numbers. So we are all at Grace's house. I am okay. Promise!" She bit her lower lip at the tiniest fib she had to tell.

She started to drive carefully. Slower then she had gone on the way over. She knew he would be angry she had not listened to him, but surely he would be relieved that the women had the good sense to stick together. After all there was safety in numbers.
"Dereck even sent one of his guys over to look after Grace. So...we are safe. Hey, I am sure you are heading over. We can talk later right? You don't have to come get me you know? I know you are though. See you when you get here." She knew her breath was being wasted, so she just hung up.
"Sorry about that! We have to get there before he shows up and I am not there. He will be so pissed off if he realizes I am not at her place."

Cadence got them there quickly, and in one piece. She helped Lyn with her bag and they hurried up the walk. She knocked on the door.
"Grace, T.J.! It is Cadence and Lyn! Open up before Jasper gets here and kills me!" She looked at Lyn and smiled.
"You'll love Grace! Everyone does!" She brushed her hair back, and lowered her hood.

And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.

Grace was following Dereck out of her bedroom when she heard the knock at the door, and TJ was there, hand on his gun that was on his hip, and looking outside. When he visibly relaxed, and stepped to the side Grace raised an eyebrow. She was about to ask who it was when Cadence and Lyn walked inside, and Grace smiled. The look of being pissed off at Dereck had completely been wiped from her face, despite the fact that she was still very much mad at him. It was one of the many things she learned about being a nurse. You can hide your emotions so, so very well. If there was a patient that was being an a**, and made you mad, then you had to go an work on a child, you had to change your attitude in a matter of seconds. Grace approached Lyn, and instead of offering her a handshake, she pulled the red haired woman into a hug.

"Hi! I have heard a lot about you, and only good things, I promise."

Grace smiled at Lyn and turned to introduce Dereck when he held his hand up, stopping her from doing so. His whole demeanor seemed to have changed when he caught sight of Lyn, and his eyes softened from what they were just moment earlier. Before she could say anything else to the red haired woman, she was whisked away by Dereck, and Grace merely looked to Cadence, a questioning look on her face. She had no idea that Dereck was in a relationship, and even more that he was in a relationship with Lyn, whom she had just met. Unlike Dereck, Grace would never butt her head in somewhere it didn't belong, like his relationship status. If he was happy with Lyn, then she would give them her best wishes. She just wished Dereck felt the same about her being with Orion.

"Are they...?....They are! Oh, I had no idea..."

Grace brought a finger to her lips, and made a face. It was awful how Dereck knew so much about her personal life and she knew nothing about his. Was not fair, not in the least bit. She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, before she received a text from one of her coworkers. Her eyes grew wide, and she quickly shoved her phone into her pocket. She had just received some news, and at this moment in time she was not exactly sure if it was good news or bad news.

Dereck was not finished talking with Grace, but she seemed like she was pissed off enough already. So, he did as she said and he walked out of her room, and was about to leave her house when he caught sight of TJ at the door. First walked in Cadence, and right behind her was a familiar head of red hair. For a second Dereck tilted his head to the side, curious as to why she was here with Cadence. Did something happen? Maybe the people who sent the videos to his club had gone after her. He closed the distance between himself and Lyn with two big steps, and looked down at her. Dereck merely nodded to Grace, and then stepped forward, looking down at Lyn with concern.

"What are you doing here? Are you okay?"

His hand reached up and touched her cheek gently, his thumb stroking her cheek before he took her hand in his, leading her to the other guest room, where the baby was not asleep. He had to talk with her about what he had seen, and what he planned on doing about it. If she was in danger, then she would need people to watch after her. She did live in Greensville, so his men would be the ones looking after her. He wouldn't allow the Angels to do so, even if it was her cousins. Once the door was closed behind them both, he moved to stand right in front of her again, his blue eyes bright with concern. Even though their relationship had just begun, he felt a deep desire to make sure she was alright. After seeing the things that had been done to her on the videos, he never wanted to let anything happen to her again.

"I saw something today, when I got to the club. I don't want to go into details, but...it was a few different videos, each of them had you and Cadence in them.."

Dereck paused for a moment, rubbing a hand over the back of his shaved head. He swallowed thickly, returning his eyes down at Lyn.

"You need to give me their names and affiliation. Any information that you can. You trust me, right?"

Lyn's eyes looked to the phone as it started singing. She listened quietly to the exchange between the two love birds that didn't want to admit it. A small smile growing on her lips. As Cadie hung up and apologized, Lyn shook her head,"Cadence don't apologize. You are fine, thanks for just coming."Lyn hadn't known that so much had been happening with Cadence. Or perhaps she wouldn't have mentioned anything. She didn't want to get the other girl in trouble. Especially not with her ... other. But then again she was glad to have company at this moment.

Lyn grabbed her things from the car as Cadence got out of the car. She then followed the brunette to the front door. She returned the smile to Cadie,
"I'm sure we will get along. But Cadie, I don't think Jasper will kill you. Otherwise we need to find you someone else." Lyn looked around as they waited for someone to open the door. She frowned when she saw two bikes in the drive. One that was familiar, "Didn't you say Dereck had sent a guy? Did he come too?"

Lyn walked into the house after a male opened the door, obviously Dereck's man. As she looked into the room she saw none other than Dereck, who was closing the distance between them quickly. But his sister beat him to the punch, and the blonde in the room was sweeping Lyn into a large hug. Lyn wrapped an arm around the other woman's shoulders with a smile. "Nice to meet you Grace. I've heard a lot about you as well."

And then there was Dereck. Right in front of her, peering down, touching her check gently. And that feeling of safe returned. Lyn nodded, looking straight into his blue eyes,
"I'm alright." And then her hand was in his and he was leading her down the hall to a different room. After he had closed the door and was in front of her again, Lyn wrapped her arms around him, letting her head rest against his chest as she breathed in his scent. Dereck just being here, calmed her nerves.

As he spoke, she closed her eyes and drew back from him. Not far, she still stood right in front of him, but they were no longer touching. Dylan had said he left those videos there. So if Dereck had been there of course he had seen them. Was only going to be a matter of time really. She nodded her head, blue watching his reaction. She didn't want the pity, didn't want him to start treating her differently now.
"I don't really know what ties they had Dereck. I know what they called each other, but who knows if that's their real names. I only know one of the people that was there. And that's something we don't need to get into, unless you really want to make us a thing still." Maralyn wasn't really sure how he felt. About any of it honestly. It seemed to have some effect on him that was true. But she would also understand if he didn't want to be with someone that had been through that.

Dylan had obviously brought Dereck into this, from what Lyn knew mainly because of her. She didn't want to drag Dereck into it more than she had to, or her cousins for that matter. Dylan was something she would handle, especially if Dereck wanted nothing to do with her. But yet he was talking to her, and seemed concerned. She bit her lower lip,
"Of course I trust you Dereck. I just didn't think any of that s**t played into where we were in a relationship, or that it would surface."

As he listened to Cadie explain where she had gone, the man nodded and let out a slow breath. She was ok. Had been thinking with her brain. That was his girl. He smiled, "I'll be there soon." Then he hung up, and was on his bike once again, curving through the streets to Grace's house. Sure he knew where it was. Orion had had him watch her a time or two. Shadow Creek wasn't that big after all.

As Jasper pulled up, he whistled seeing the place was a full house. He parked his bike on the street. Then bounded up to the front door, and knocked, calling, "Pick-up for Cadence." Sure times were alittle heavy, but what better way to break the mood than with a joke. Plus Cadence was safe. That's what he cared about. Anyway he knew those bikes weren't Angels. Everyone had been in the meeting room, and one wasn't Orion's bike. So that meant the Reapers had stopped by. Gosh that had to be a ******** some days. Angel men and Reaper men protecting the same girl because both clubs had an investment in her. But hey, she was extra safe then,

Dereck felt his head tilt to the side when Lyn stepped away from him. Bringing up the movies had some kind of effect on her, and he wasn't sure if it was favorable to him. He clenched his jaw as he spoke, and moved to cross his arms over his chest. Was she thinking that he was going to see her differently because of what had happened? Because he wasn't. He liked her for who she was, not what has or has not happened to her. When she bit her lower lip, he felt himself relax a little. Hopefully she wasn't thinking that he was upset with her. Or the situation. He was mad, but not at her.

"Well, it did surface, Lyn. I want to be with you. That won't change the way I see you.."

He moved again, and this time closed the distance she had created between the two of them. He shook his head, and cupped her small face in his hands. She looked embarrassed by the videos, maybe even a little ashamed. She had no reason to be.

"I want to know everything that you know, got it? You are my girl. I want to keep you safe, and away from whoever these people are. Whatever you can tell me, please do."

He dipped down and pulled her into an embrace, one hand holding the back of her head, the other arm wrapped around her lower back, holding her against his chest. Seeing the videos made him want to treat her like a piece of glass. The things those men did to her were revolting, and he was already planning what he was going to do to them when he got the chance. He had opened his mouth to say something else when he heard another knock on the front door, and his eyebrow quirked out of curiosity. He had not called for anyone else to come over, so it meant that it was either Orion, whom he did not care for, or one of his men...which he really didn't care about either.

Dereck took her hand again and they emerged from the room. He ignored the smile from Grace, and instead let his eyes look to TJ. He nodded his head at the kid, and he took it as his cue to leave. Once TJ left, it was Cadence, Dereck, Lyn, Grace, and Jasper standing in the middle of Grace's kitchen. Jasper moved to Cadence, and was standing next to her much like they were a thing, and Grace was off in the corner of the kitchen, looking a little nervous. Dereck glanced down at Lyn, and raised an eyebrow.

"Wanna stay at my place tonight? I can arrange a car for you to take to work?"

He didn't care about speaking openly about their relationship, and his hand moved from holding her's to snake around her waist, his lips now pressed against her hair, kissing her head.
