Ashral focused on the noise of the tables being moved but said nothing, not moving her mouth or anything at all.
As Ree took flight into the sky, back toward the city, he would see Vina and Katarina in the same area as Nero had been fighting Ashral, they looked like they might have been searching for any signs of them, searching hole in buildings and moving down the street toward the estates as they kept an eye out.
It wasn't until Katarina saw his shadow moving across the ground that she looked up. "There he is." she commented to Vina before waving at him to try to get his attention.
Vina looked worried but waited to see if Ree would stop, noticing that Ashral was not with him.

Ree spotted them and veer down, back winging and dropping the rest of the way without a flicker of reaction. He looked at them and took a breath to say something and stopped just letting it go again as he looked away. "She is disabled for the moment" he said quietly and looked up soul weary. "How many injured...dead.."He blinked and suddenly looked sharply at Vina for nor reason she would be able to guess, staring at her intently before sighing. Keeping his thoughts to himself he looked away to Katarina and nodded to her before looking at Vina.

They both kept a steady gaze on him as he landed. Katarina didn't seem to care either way about Ashral, only the very faintest flicker of ease.
Vina let out an exhale of relief to learn that Ashral was at least still alive. She frowned and thought on his question. "Thankfully, no one was killed. There was dozens injured in the crossfire between her and Nero. It was thankful you stepped in, another blow likely would have killed him." she answered with a sympathetic look then sighed.
She noticed the sharp look and blinked then frowned. "I'm sorry, I should have tried to stop her myself, but Nero had it handled and I had to get Giselle out of harms way and to get you." she blurted, obviously feeling guilty. Taking another breath. "Is she going to keep attacking people? Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Besides, being an idiot and likely provoking her, probably not." Katarina muttered with a slight bitterness to her voice which was hard to tell where it was directed. She paused, "I thought they got all the metal out of your body, why do you still have that?" she asked, pointing up to the forming ornament on the other side of his head, mostly looking like a metallic piece but nothing more. Katarina twisted her mouth into a slight frown in response.

Ree's gaze soften slightly as she spoke and he shook his head. "No what you did was the best course of action with her. Normally it would have worked but..." he trailed off and looked at the destruction around them in silence. This ..this is why he disfigure her leg and hands. Staring at Katarina he automatically raised his hand to the sid eof his head she was pointing too and touched the warm piece of metal that gave a soft dull ache as his fingers touched it, reminding him of the time Tri accidentally knocked him out by hitting his ornament a bit to hard in practice. Grasping it with his fingers he pulled it slightly, barely reacting as the dull ache turned to pain as he let it go. "....Living metal" he mutter quietly following it with his healing energy as it meshed with the rest of him. He was to old to be growing another mutation so how was this possible? Surprise was obvious on his face as he reached up along it trying to feel the faint buzz of ethereal feathers but felt nothing. What was happening? no really what was happening. Moving away from them he went to one of the windows and looked at his reflection, grateful he could barely see his features but the small bump of the metal could be seen. Running his hand through his hair he finally turned to look at the others. "I don't know" he said simply. "I have no idea...it's growing like the other one, except i'm to old to have a new mutation" he said touching the full grown ornament on the other side of his head with confusion since it felt diffrent. Thinking back to all the times he passed out and reappeared in that room. For all he knew they could have done something to him and he wouldn't have known. Having shrapnel in his body couldn't have done -that- unless it was magical grenades of doom Forcing himself to calm down he lowered his hand and turned to face them. "I am pretty certain I lost any understanding of what has been happening a while ago. " he sighed. "Lets start with Ashral then....I don't think this is going to kill me..." he touched the new ornament again with a disturbed look as if it might decide otherwise. "I don't know if she will continue to attack people. It is a big possibility... at least she attacked Griselle and Nero for a reason. She was dead...and two people summoned her spirit back into the body. One wanted to keep her soul the other one wanted to change her...have her try and kill me against her will. " he said quietly looking between them silently for any flicker of reaction that might indicate they knew. " She suffers from hyper focus... something very similar to a besker's fury" he frowned. " She is also old... if you don't know, metas may sometimes harbor a spirit when they are a child. As they grow older that spirit gains energy to separate and reform how they used to be. How they do it is what separates them into two different classifications but it is still just based on personality. Either ways..she was one of those..." he trailed off his eyes widening slightly in a realization then shook his head. " While she was in the meta she would take over and cause destruction, something like this. That meta had also been brain washed to follow commands of a research center called Haven and be their..weapon against other metas " he waved his hand around. "Some of that stuck to Ashral... what she mention wanting to do to me... sounded familiar to what she wanted to do to my father even so she barely knew him. Also similar to what her host wanted even so we could not confirm the target" he was rambling.. he knew he was rambling and a lot of this he should keep secret, except they would need to know it if they do make connections with the main land...Haven was popular. "I guess in short...if she might not berserk if I am not near. Or she might stay the way she is and continue rampaging. I have her disabled but I can't keep her like that" he closed his eyes. "No...I can keep her like that but that is no way to live. " focusing on Vina he motioned slightly to the road. "I need to talk to Grisella and maybe Marion"

Ree's words were only a cold comfort to Vina, even if it was the right course of action, it didn't make her feel any less guilty. She frowned, her eyes drifting downward as she thought on things from there.
Katarina had been watching him figure out what the metal on his head was, curious and slightly concerned. Living metal. "Like Peter. His metal is living, it shifts and moves, so he keeps it covered." she spoke calmly, with an unchanging face. She looked to Vina then back to Ree then shrugged. "Wouldn't know why you'd start changing now... you've been here a month already."
Vina crossed her arms timidly, worry painted on her face as they listened to Ree explain Ashral's situation. Vina narrowed her eyes slightly. "She spent just as much time here as you, so why is this a thing now? She acted nothing like this before. So how come this is suddenly an issue. Because you explain to me why she's friends with Giselle and then suddenly slicing her arm off and almost killing Nero and dozens of others... if you knew about this, then why didn't you warn us. We could have prevented this, death or not..." she asked, not so much in anger but out of confusion and frustration within her distress for the situation.
Katarina shot a look to Vina and sighed. "..someone used a command on her? Made her freak out and try to kill others, more specifically you." she spoke bluntly, obviously understanding easily what he was saying.
Vina frowned, keeping her arms crossed in insecurity and sighed.
"So either she gets better away from you, or she doesn't. That's not good odds to have." Katarina exhaled, thinking on it. "So obviously she isn't always like that.. how do you get her to stop? Can't you just.. reverse the command or use a different one or something? Or does it not work like that?"
"She's disabled and somewhere cooling off.. hopefully." Vina muttered then pulled a hand up to rest against her forehead. Holding the position for a moment before running her hand through her hair. "I assume we at least have time to figure all that out then. I don't know much about all that stuff, only what Carmella showed me, controlling spirits, but I've never done it... don't think I could." she muttered again then sighed. "Giselle and Marion are back at the safehouse, let's head back." she turned then began to walk toward the house, Katarine following suit.
-----------
Back at the safehouse, Katarina knocked and the orange haired boy answered the door in the same fashion as before. Vina led them upstairs and looked between two doors. "Nero, Giselle, and Marq are in that room, and Marion and Mercy are in the other bedroom here. Nero's unconscious, so if you want to ask Giselle questions alone, just ask Marq to leave." she informed with a wave of her hand.
"Same for Mercy, she's awake now, so you can talk to Marion alone if you want. Punch her, I don't really care." Katarina spoke in a bland voice, staring blankly up at Ree.
"Katarina!" Vina hissed in a quiet voice.
Katarina merely shot an annoyed look back at Vina. "Fine, do whatever, it's not like she didn't help enslave us and dress up us kids as dolls for her own entertainment. Be nice to her, I'm not your boss." she spoke back in scorn then turned and left to go back downstairs.
Vina sighed and looked to Ree with a frown. "..i'm sorry.."

"It wasn't a problem before. She could keep her control as you saw, it only happened after she died this time" he said tiredly. "Yes I could try that or break her more which is why I have been reluctant. I tried to clear any previous commands and she said there were no new ones... I could -maybe- add new ones but..." there was an obvious look of distaste. "I have to ..see" he said quietly turning to follow, mulling over everything silently. ------ As they arrived Ree looked between Vina and Katarina, only a flicker of alarm as she mentioned punching Marion but it was not something that was that surprising. If anything he rather agreed with Katarina at a very base level, he just wanted to punch her. A lot of what happened could have maybe been prevented if she wasn't such a snooty b*****d when he arrived. "Vina...you will eventually have to address that before Marion has an "accident" " he said with a sigh, knowing he wouldn't be regretful if she did and he knew that thought who has been alarming before. " Out of everyone she is the one who still kept the same mentality as the others.. she will have a lot to make up for and I don't think...to many people will be sad to see her go" he said quietly looking after Katarina and remembering Marq's words, knowing it was likely not something Vina wanted to think about with everything else going on, but it was highly likely to happen. He almost wanted to go to her first but mention of Marq grabbed his attention as well as talking to Griselle alone. "I will talk to Marion later, I want to know what Griselle saw" he said quietly moving to that door. "Thank you" he said quietly before knocking and waiting instead of just opening the door.

Vina sighed in exasperation, putting her hand to her forehead again and shaking her head. "I'm aware.. She hasn't exactly been compliant either, which isn't helping. Either she's stupid and hasn't realized how bad her situation is or she has a death wish, I'm not entirely sure but I think it's the former." she commented in a tired voice. As he made his choice, Vina nodded. "I'll be downstairs if you need anything." she commented and moved down the hall to go downstairs.
As Ree knocked on the door, there was a bit of silence then the door opened and Marq answered it. Standing there, a flicker of surprise as if not expecting to have seen Ree there, before returning to a more somber look, putting up a wall of stoicism and averting his gaze as he stepped aside to let Ree in and closed the door behind him. Marq moved to the bed Nero was laying in, looking over him to make sure he didn't miss anything in healing him, but mostly just trying to keep his mind occupied and seemingly avoiding conversation altogether.
Giselle was sitting on the other bed sewing her arm back on as she was having only a slight difficulty at that moment as she looked to who walked in. "Ree! ...you came back. Is Ashral okay?" she asked immediately, concern and worry clouding her face as she looked genuinely worried for her.

As the door opened he stared at the other archangel who answered with a flicker of pain. Knowing he knew of Ashral by now but Hope... had likely not returned. Moving inside he said nothing as he stopped a few steps into the room and looked around, Griselle's shout made him turn his attention toward her and squint, she wasn't glowing she was burning. Blinking he took a step back in alarm then turn to look at Nero and Marq both glowing, Nero much stronger than Marq right now. Reaching up he grasp the stone around his neck, the one vina gave him and squeezed looking at them with the stone and barely seeing much of a difference only brighter more clear...still this was stronger than it had been with Ashral. "...." Letting go he look bemused, he could see spirits now? "Sorry... I just saw something odd" he said shaking his head as he moved to sit by her, glancing at Nero with a relieved look, remembering what Vina has told him. " She is okay" he said quietly looking askance at the space by her, wanting to sit close to her for some reason. Glancing up at Marq he thought about asking him to leave and almost didn't until he thought what he might do in that situation. "Marq.... could you give us a few minutes? " he asked quietly.

Giselle watched him curiously, not sure why Ree was so hesitant at first, but felt relieved as he relayed that Ashral was okay and she sighed to let go of the tension of it. "That's good to hear." she commented with a smile and scooted over on the bed a bit so Ree could sit down if he did want to. "..can you.. help me with my arm?" she asked a bit shy.
Marq turned to speak up about it, but then Ree's voice caught his attention, asking if he could leave for a bit. He blinked but nodded and without a word left the room quietly.
Giselle blinked in a slight confusion then frowned and looked to Ree. "Is everything okay?" she asked, not sure why he wanted to seemingly talk to her alone but wasn't against the idea. She waited for Ree to talk, fidgeting slightly in anticipation and the worry that was growing once again.

Ree blinked in surprised but nodded blinking rapidly as he move to sit down by her. He didn't really need to blink but it felt like he did as his slowly relaxed unconsciously. "I can try, but you have to tell me how" he said truthfully as he viewed her arm, reminded of both Zira and Cordella's arms flying off and Anadii and his question. "Not exactly...Ashral was telling me about how someone tried to erase her memory and tried to send her after me" he said quietly. "We were both wondering if you could tell me where and how you found her" then he paused as he turned to face her even with the strong light, wondering if he could turn it off somehow but for now he was trying to see past the light...deeper. "Also..if you have been hearing voices recently..or feeling like you're not in control but it seems to real to be a dream"

Giselle nodded, "It's like sewing a piece of ripped clothing.." she explained. "Either I can hold my arm steady and you sew the two pieces together, or you hold my arm steady and I'll do the sewing.." she offered to option, knowing not everyone knew how to sew.
She frowned as Ree started in the explanation, her big eyes focused on him as he explained the situation further. He asked about where and how she found her and she nodded. "After running off, I went to find Vina. She was in the graveyard dig a hole.. I guess I might have gotten carried away and was really upset so I told her to leave. She did. I didn't want to believe that she was gone so I sat with her for a long time before Nero came. He tried to tell me that these things happen. Just like with Livvy. That I had to let go but I didn't want to, even if I couldn't see her soul anymore." Giselle gradually looked away frowning. "It took him a while, but he convinced me to help bury her, so he started digging the hold Vina had started. He was going to put her in the ground when I saw her soul come back. I told him to stop and she woke up. But then she attacked us with a sword. I ran away but she was faster than me. Katarina and Vina were there when Ashral cut my arm off. Then Nero came in bear form and attacked her to let me get away." she sighed, explaining all she knew of what happened. Pausing, she meekly looked back at Ree. "I don't hate her.. I think she was just confused.." she added quietly.
Giselle looked confused as Ree asked about voices or not feeling in control. She shook her head. "No, I haven't heard any voices.. or not being in control?... I don't.. think so?" she blinked, not sure what he even meant by it. "I feel like myself.. and I don't hear anything out of the ordinary... Should I?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows in concern.

"Hm.. I better hold. I don't want to mess and have you end up with you arm sewn to your clothes" he said trying to smile but it barely even twitched his lips. Reaching out he held her arm together to allow her to sew, not at all disturbed ..maybe that should have been his first warning that something was wrong with himself. Listening to what she said he nodded with a pang of guilt, he should have thought about what he asked when he gave Vina Ashral's body. He shoulder have stayed and help her bury it..unlike back with Mara he would have been jailed instead. Nodding silently he tried not to sigh, understanding now why Tri did it so much. Ashral body had not been summon there but had been thrown back in her body somehow. He wish he understood all of this a bit better. "She was..she thought you were the people who summoned her back from the dead and changed her. Except... I am still not sure if knowing you weren't would matter much to one facet of her mind. " he said looking down at her arm. "No...it would actually be bad if you did." he said calmly, relaxing the rest of the way as he held her arm, feeling warm. "There have been quite a few spirits wandering around now..." remembering the ones that rushed out of the container that held Ashral. " and Metas...toddlers and children have a high tendency to be an unwilling host to a spirit. At least until you reach Teen" he continued.

Giselle nodded and gave a reassuring smile as she waited for him to stabilize her arm before beginning to sew it together carefully as they spoke. "Someone brought her back? I mean, I was wishing really hard that she'd come back, but I don't think I.. have that kind of power.. " her voice trailed off. There was a slight look of guilt on her face that showed how she contemplated the possibility she had done it by accident. "I didn't do anything to her. I just stayed with her..." she finally added and frowned.
She listened to his explanation of spirits and how they affected Metas... Metas like herself. "I've seen them.. all the spirits. There's so many now.. So you think maybe one could have possessed me?" she looked incredibly worried, distressed even as she almost looked like she could cry. "I didn't want to hurt Ashral.. I.. I don't know." Giselle appeared to be having a difficult time handling the information, as it became increasingly apparent that she had no idea about spirits and their connections with Metas.

" That is all I wanted to know. I just wanted to be sure." not that he was that sure, not having much of a clue himself but he could see how much it was affecting her when he had nothing concrete. " If you don't remember.. I don't think so. You also have the added benefit of being able to see them, that might have protected you.. " he looked uncomfortable. " I don't think you hurt Ashral, I was just trying to find better clues on who were those two people. You are the only meta on the island at the right stage and with Carmella, Lena and the guards deaths I wasn't sure" then he smiled faintly. "Actually you burn brightly.. maybe you burned them away..which bring me to my other question... can you turn off your spirit seeing skill? I think I might have developed something similar"

Giselle took a breath as Ree reassured her that she probably didn't hurt Ashral and it seemed more likely she wasn't connected with a spirit. She nodded and finished sewing her arm on, tying off the string tightly and cutting it with her teeth before testing it out by moving her hand and fingers. There was a smile back on her lips as everything seemed in working order now. "Thank you.."
"I don't know how I managed to stay away from spirits, but I'm glad that I don't have one. I wouldn't want to worry Nero with there being two of me.." she glanced over to Nero for a moment then returned her gaze to Ree.
He started another question and she listened with curiosity. "Turn it off?" she repeated and thought on it for a moment. "I can, it's just.. hard to explain.. like closing your eyes but not really." she commented then thought again. "It's like imagining that your eyes are closed when they really aren't, the auras fade and I don't see them. Though, I don't really mind, so I keep my eyes open all the time."
